We saw this place open recently so we thought we would drop in and try it out. They only serve wine from the Pyrenees vineyard and the prices are as expected(pricey but normal for a wine bar). I had a Grenache which was really tasty. My husband had a Temperanillo which was very nice as well. The ambiance was a little different than the surrounding hipster shops such as the Barnlight and Voodoo Donut, it looks like they are catering to an older affluent audience. Dark grey tones, chandeliers, leather furniture, and some old Jazz set against the backdrop of the heart of colorful downtown. We were there for about an hour on a Sunday afternoon and not a single other person came in which was surprising. They don’t have outdoor seating yet which I think will help attract more people. Maybe it’s a little too polished for the crowd downtown, they need more eclectic décor to attract people(just a guess). I prefer wine over cocktails and beer, so I am really excited to have a destination that suits my taste. I am looking forward to the outdoor seating — who doesn’t love sitting outside on a sunny evening people watching with a nice glass of red wine? After we go one or two more times, I will update my review. I didn’t want to give 5 stars after only going once.
