Whataburger

We came here after a flight in from Chicago to check out this hype about whataburger. I never had it before in my life so it was quiet a experience.
Upon walking in it seemed like any typical fast food chain resturant. Wasn’t sure what to expect since most pictures of food now a days are over exaggerated on the size. So I got I believe was the number 5 which was a burger with bacon in it. Mmm cause that what we need in the morning.
It took a while for my food to get out unlike my friends where their came out pretty fast, but I’ll take the benefit of the doubt and say they were busy. Once it did came out it was a pretty decent size for the burger I give it great quantity, but as for taste wise wasn’t much different in my opinoin from any other burger joint. But where they did get me was their service. They lady came over to us multiple time asking do we need anything else and how was our food. Which reminded that while I was waiting she came over multiple times to reassure my food is in its way without me asking. I don’t know if all whataburger are like this but that lady deserve a medal.

It’s Whataburger what else do I need to say? Our lunch was good. It was my son’s first time and he loved it. The staff was friendly and the burgers were right.

Looks like Whataburger is going the way of the cost cutting chain stores. Today’s burger came out the window cold and dry, obviously cooked and assembled earlier. The fried had also been around a while, cold and nearly inedible, it is a shame, Whataburger used to be the standard.

Who would’ve ever thought driving through for a fast food breakfast could be so entertaining? I swear a comedian is working the speaker. I was laughing so hard. Best service ever. I’m not only very awake now, but I’m in a really great mood!

I don’t know what exactly the problem is but every time I come to this location it takes 20 mins to get thru the drive thru line. There was only 1 car in the line and I was asked to wait when I pulled up to the speaker. Then, after waiting for 5 mins, I literally had to repeat the order 7 times and then someone else took over. Got our order, still wrong. Get it together already! Terrible service. Won’t be coming back.

Unreasonably slow. I sat in the drive through so long I started wishing I’d gone to taco bell, but I was already trapped. Not because I was starving; I wasn’t. Only because I had time enough in my hands to write this review. And the gas I was burning idling isn’t free. I can’t comment on the food here yet, but check back later… wayyy later…

Great burger specially when you craving some fatty food in the middle of the night! I am a fan of fast food and I can’t say no to it. This wataburger has the best things that i always need it for late night snacks. The people that work there are so friendly and nice to me all the time. I live closed by so its so easy to go there and get my food!

Aria came and checked on my family a few times. He’s a sweet guy. Great service and friendly faces. This is a good Whataburger… aren’t they all?

I like this Whataburger — the food is always fresh and tasty, the place is clean, the restrooms are clean, and the workers are friendly. But what I like most of all is that not all of the employees are teenagers — there are real adults working there making stuff happen and, therefore, the customer service is better. We will continue to come here:)

Rolando is the best! He’s always smiling, always friendly, very efficient and should get this restaurant named after him! It’s always an enjoyable experience going there. I love it that you offer scrambled eggs in the mornings instead of a hard rubbery round thing you get at other restaurants. And the scrambled eggs are not too hard either. I love the burgers at lunch of course. The restaurant is always clean. And the friendly staff, wow, this has got to be your best location. Don’t lose Rolando. Customer for life!

First off… its Whataburger I’m Texan. So, of course I think it’s the best chain burger joint on the face of God’s green Earth. I’ve eaten at Whataburger all over the state. Always good.
Why bother writing a review? It’s the staff at this location. They are always friendly. Always smiling. No matter what time I go. Tonight was no different.

I stopped by after dropping off a friend at the airport. Went to the restroom to wash my hands before ordering because they did not appear to be busy and I did not want my breakfast to get cold while I was in there.
The restroom was just cleaned, a plus, still smelled of pine cleaner and no trash around so I wondered if this was the only cleaning of the day or if they kept it up. Will have to try again later in the day to answer that one. Another day of course.
Everything appears clean in the bathroom except the personal trash can for the stall. Wouldn’t hurt to spray that with a little cleaner.
So I get to the counter, I am the only one in line but had to wait for someone to come out of the kitchen, ok, they have other duties. but when the worker came out he immediately addressed the patron the was sitting across from the counter, and had been there since I walked in. I thought it was odd, but ok. Finally he asks me what I would like and I tell him a jalapeño cheddar biscuit with sausage and a large coffee. I pay thinking price was a bit high but figured it was because of large coffee. He hands me a large cup and I go self serve my own coffee. There isn’t any. I tell him and he immediately pours me fresh and fills the container. I go sit down with my book. Shortly, same employee brings my meal in a to go bag and say, I didn’t put it on a try, I thought it was to go. After thinking you never even asked me, and no lid on coffee and book sitting at table should have been major clues. But of course, even without coffee I am nice and say it’s fine. I get up and go get my own napkins, come back to find he gave me the wrong meal and so I looked at my receipt. He gave me the egg, cheese and sausage biscuit, at least it was jalapeño so since I already paid for it, I ate it. Not my favorite, will complain if they ever do that again.
Overall, the place is clean and they are friendly to everyone else, I am giving them the benefit of doubt, I do have my head wrapped in a nice scarf to hide my bandages and my face is a little swollen from having surgery a few days ago. I probably made them nervous. So now I will refill my coffee and read a bit before I leave.

Nice place, always makes me say, YAY FOOD! (I love food) lol OKAY YES FOOD FOOD FOOD FOOD! YAYYAYAYAYAYA lol okay so yeah this place is good and I will return! Ya! So I recommend the Just-​a-​burger, with ketchup and pickles only. SO YEAH.

I’m a huge fan of this particular Whataburger. I stop here in the mornings for a coffee, yes just a coffee. Why? Because I love the customer service… I love Rolando he should get a menu item named after him. seriously! He’s been working there for a long time too, so he clearly enjoys his job. Go see him, I promise u will leave with a smile on ur face :)
This location is efficienct, accurate, and has a FABULOUS staff! Its so close to my job, I do come here for a drink on the way into work or on the way out. even on lunch. The burgers unfortunately dont fit in my healthy lifestyle too often, but I have had the chicken sandwich (with grilled onions and jalapenos) yumm! Salads are on point too. I’m guilty and slightly embarrassed to say I love their grilled cheese kids meal with apples of course. that Sammy just takes me back to my childhood lol.
Get here quick and let Rolando and the rest of the employees make ur day!

Sometimes I feel like the food isn’t as fresh here and it used to be. Still, sometimes when you’re having a bad day, nothing will raise your spirits like a Whataburger with cheese. :)

I eat Whataburger more often than I care to admit, but I’m a Texan so I guess I can get away with it. In fact, I’m finishing the coke I ordered with my honey bbq chicken strip sandwich as I write this review. There are also two spare spicy ketchup (YES ITS BACK) packets on my desk, and an empty bag in the trash.
Now this is the closest Whataburger to my apartment so it’s the one I usually go to.
It’s usually about the all time classics for me, but don’t forget about the good olé whataburger (best if you get your onions grilled and add jalapenos). Classic wise I like the chop house burger with extra sauce, and the honey bbq chicken strip sandwich on Texas toast with extra cheese and extra honey bbq sauce.
There’s not much to say about the taste of the food because it’s consistent across the board, and anyone reading this review know what it tastes like. If you don’t, let me get you up to speed. It’s really good for fast food. Just eat it. You’re welcome.
As far as this location goes, there is usually a line. Late at night because its the only thing open, and during the day because it’s just good and it’s one of the few good restaurants on that block.
The good thing is that it moves pretty fast, and if you’re lucky enough to be passing through the drive thru while Rolando is working his high energy and happy to see you attitude will definitely help set a good mood for the rest of your day.
I’ve read other reviews about orders being wrong, but I can honestly say I’ve never had that happen one time at this location. It helps to have them repeat your order, I have had to correct them at the speaker a few times but they always get it right.
A few other things to note, they aren’t stingy with the ketchup here, and spicy ketchup is back. It’s awesome, so stock up on as much as you can because it’ll only be here for a limited time. Unless they make it an all time classic, wouldn’t that be cool?! Oh yeah, taquitos make great breakfast (get it with potato, bacon, egg and cheese) as well as honey butter chicken biscuit (with you guessed it, extra honey butter).

It’s a chain. Nothing new. I like their two lane system, it creates less of wait at 2am. Although I haven’t done the whole leave the club go to Whataburger for a taquito thing in a while. I went to get dinner for for my fiancé before I went in to work, what with him taking care of our sick baby, I wanted to do something nice for him. Like clog his arteries with a patty melt and fries, but I digress. That is what my baby wanted, that is what I provide. The service is very top-​notch at this paticular one… every other one I have been to I encounter a language barrier and the slowness of dawn!!! Do we frequent? No, but when we want us some What-​a-​burger (bc when you are born and raised in TX, this is second nature) we will go to this one:)

Pretty good, I have not been thru the drive thru recently so I can’t speak on the wrong orders that others have experiences. If I recall there was one time ages ago I came thru the drive thru and my card wasn’t scanning correctly and they gave me my food anyway. Very cool. In more recent activities, we had gotten a stack of coupons for whataburger at work. So I stopped by here during my lunch break one of the times I was running errands near by. The coupon really maybe saved me maybe $ 1 off of the combo meal. The staff was nice and my order was correct. The inside of the store was clean at kept at an ok temp. Make sure you ask for the ketchup!

Avoid this place at all cost past 10 pm. The night staff is terrible! I waited 45 for a HBBQ chicken strip sandwich and fries and it really wasn’t that busy. Not worth the hassle or the rude Manager
