Had high hopes for this place. But as soon as I saw them microwave my food, my heart sank. You cannot microwave food if you want to be a good BBQ joint.

Been there twice, first time they were closing because they ran out of food & the 2nd time was on. Saturday & they just weren’t open(although the hours posted said they should be)

Not quite sure why all of the 1 star reviews. I’m from the south and the northwest doesn’t have great bbq but this place was good. The ribs were moist and fell off the bone and had a lot of sauce just like I like it. The corn brea was delicious and fresh and the potato salad and beans were really good! I would recommend it!

UGH! DON’T DOIT! You can always tell a great BBQ joint because there is a line out the door. NOTHERE! This place is not BBQ. We got the combo plate to try everything. Beans. Ok, Potatoe salad… good. The Meat? A complete Joke! The chicken was over dry, as well as the hot links. And I do mean dry! The beef was a thin slice of roast beef, and was dry too. The BBQ sauce was like a cheap Cattleman’s that you buy at Costco. No smokey flavor to anything. This place just wants to take your money in exchange for crap.

The service was fine for me. They were out of chicken and to-go bags, but apologized for it. I came for a Pulled Pork sandwich. The pork was dry, clunky, and had lots of low quality bits in it, including a large piece of membrane(showing a lack of proper cleaning of the meat). The bun was store bought, also dry. I doused it in their included BBQ sauce which helped. I ate it all but wasn’t thrilled with it. The restaurant was clean and orderly inside. It was also empty.

At least they’re consistent! I went in just at the time they were closing, and offered to come back another day. The gentleman insisted upon taking my order. I was anxious to try the brisket and pulled pork, but they didn’t offer a combo meal. I was offered(and not charged for) a pulled pork sandwich, in addition to my brisket meal. The brisket was super dry. Unpalatable. As others have said, the worst I’ve ever had. I think he reheated it in a microwave. The pulled pork was over-laden with sauce to the point that it was all I could taste. I think this is done by bbq restaurants to stretch the shelf life of their product, using the moisture in the sauce to keep the meat from drying out. Tasting the pork without sauce, is not even an option here. I did like the beans and potato salad sides. I think mistake number one is to try a bbq restaurant which doesn’t have a smoker on-site. BBQ is better the fresher you can get it. I’ll look elsewhere. I’ve heard of good bbq in bothell.

I wish this review was based on an actual dining experience. But we didn’t get the chance. When we opened the door to the restaurant, we didn’t get even one foot inside before we were told that they were closed. No hello, just an abrupt«we’re closed.» This would be perfectly acceptable if it was, say, 10pm. But what kind of freakin bbq joint closes at 4 on a Saturday? Yeah, that’s why we were shocked … it was only 4pm! I understand if it’s a breakfast place(i.e. Maltby Café, Breakfast Nook, etc.) or if it’s a place that serves lunch, then closes for a few hours to prep for dinner service(i.e. Toyama Sushi). These jokers obviously do not want to make any money. I’ll be surprised if they stay in business for very long. EDIT: Just as I suspected … I checked the menu that was sitting in the«menu folder» at my work and it listed that they are open until 6pm on Saturdays. Those liars!

Recently vistited the new bbq place and that was a mistake. The person taking our order was nice but the cook spent most of his time outside the kitchen talking to his friends. As for the food it was just bad. The meat was dry, very dry, lathered in tons of sauce and the brisket I ordered tasted like it was microwaved. The two sides that came with it were baked beans and potato salad. The potato salad was more potato mush with way to much pepper and the baked beans were a little under cooked. Definitely not a good place for BBQ
