We were there while it was the dim sum place. It was ok good. Then they closed and reopens. So we finally walked back in after over a year diving by. We got there little after 10am on Saturday and learned that it’s now a buffet. $ 20++ each with 15% discount. So we stayed. The food started to come out and to both our surprise it’s quite an array of Japanese and Chinese dishes. Everything(yes we tried everything except the salad… we are pigs so don’t judge… you know what I mean buffet goers) tastes fresh and up to par. The sashimi are succulent and not fishy at all for a buffet. Snow crab legs are sweet, stir fry dishes just tasted better than Tulalip buffet. They even have scallops… Though frozen but still tasty. Great selections of desserts and fresh fruits. There were still new dishes coming out when we were about to leave. The last thing I tried was the whole sweet and sour fish where you can pick off any part of the fish. I went for the cheeks and tail. Overall we were pretty impressed. I also hear that they have a full menu as well that I will check out next time.

The décor of the dinning room is much better than an average Chinese buffet place and the compliment ends here. There were the usual American Chinese dishes that one would expect like broccoli stir fry with chicken. Some seafood like fish, shrimp, crabs, oysters… I was given the impression that dim sum is served on the ad on a Chinese newspaper. There was absolutely NOTHING that come close to dim sum!(Unless you consider frozen pot sticker dime sum.) I opened a bamboo steamer hoping was dim sum and I closed it as soon as I could. I did not even know what it was! The two different shrimp preparation I tried were both mushy: the fried shrimp with shells and stir-fry shrimp. It is an indication that the shrimps were rotten before they were cooked. The only thing edible were oysters, fried crab and the flesh that was barely left on the bone of a sweet and sour fish. Every«hot» dishes that my husband tried were cold — not even lukewarm! I went over to the buffet to investigate and saw steam coming out between the trays but the food was cold! What a mystery. I proceeded to try some deep fried chicken wings. Tears filled my eyes when I bite into it because it WAS warm! Turned out it was the most edible thing. We were utterly disappointed and disgusted at this restaurant, except the décor. I blamed my husband for that because it was his idea. He only ate one plate of food in a buffet! But wait, there came another surprise when the bill arrived. It was $ 21.99PERPERSON!!! Oh my goodness! So much for foods like this??? The only consolation is that there was a $ 3.33 off per person because it was Sunday lunch. This certainly bottoms out in the Chinese buffet category. I have tried 5-dollar Chinese buffet in Florida, other than the fact that there was no seafood, this over-priced buffet was much much worse!!! Did I mention we stayed away from the sushi? I saw people walking towards the restaurant as I was walking out. I almost jumped in front of them to tell them not to go in. I am now pleading with you, whether you are Asian or not — my husband being American, you will NOT like it.

This has got to be the worst place I’ve ever eaten at. 1 star for the nice waiter but other than that I don’t have anything good to say. First off, we’ve been here for their buffet when they re-opened and it was alright. If it wasn’t for their grand opening 20% off I don’t think we would’ve gone at all since it’s pricey. The remodeling of the place was really nice though, the interior looked clean and bright. Today was the first time that we went back since they opened this summer. Only to find out that the buffet only goes on during the weekend(Fri-Sun). But we decided to stay anyways. We ordered a 3 entrees meal, Mongolian beef, honey prawns, and orange chicken, and a small salmon nigiri dish(6 pieces). When I got my nigiri plate, there was a strand of hair on the corner, clearly it was the chefs since he see the only one making the sushi. The salmon was warm and the rice was overcooked so it wasn’t appetizing. For the 3 entrees, they tasted like they were 2 days old and were microwaved before served to us. The rice also tasted old so it was extremely dry. My boyfriend has never been picky on foods but I’ve never seen him NOT enjoyed his food. The restaurant only had 1 other couple eating there besides us so the place was eery quiet because there was no music either. Other than the horrible foods, the utensils were also dirty. I asked for hot tea and when I wiped off my cup before I used it, there were black substances on my napkin from the cup(picture included). We will probably never come back. Now we understand why they never have a lot of customers.

The food was all just ok. Not really that fresh but that may be because there wasn’t many customers. My parents came here because a sign had advertised that something had change and it was now a sit down and order but when we came in nothing had changed and the story owner said that there was a delay but they had not changed their advertisement signs. The choices here are very basic, the most basic seafood, most basic dim sum and most basic Chinese food. The interior design is pretty but the food is not impressive at all.

I have been hear once before for dinner when they first opened and was happy with the food. I would give it 4 stars for that visit. Today was a whole other story. The best way to describe it was all the food served at lunch seemed like it last night’s leftovers. Everything had a gross film over it a all the meat was picked out. The food was so gross looking that if I had seen it before hand I wouldn’t have even eaten their for free. The staff was very nice and friendly so that at least was nice. I’ve uploaded some pictures so you can see for yourself what the food looked like. My advice for the owner. If you are going to run a high end buffet with the most expensive prices in the area you need to deliver 100% on your food. What I saw today was a complete joke I’m sure that at least 90% of the people that had lunch today will never return.

We went when they had their Grand Opening celebration. It wasn’t too crowded when we went, maybe people didn’t want to venture further north. The place was nice and clean, and kinda fancy looking for an Asian buffet. The food looked fresh, and there was a good variety. They did offer some dim sum items to entice people to try their upcoming weekend dim sum offerings. We were pretty impressed with their sushi offerings, for a buffet it wasn’t too bad. The food was hit and miss, there were things we enjoyed. The gal who took our plates was kinda slow on refilling our drinks. The prices were on par with Blue Fin in Seattle, and we didn’t think it was worth the price tag, but today I checked that they have since lowered their prices a bit since we were last there. There is a sign on the ice cream counter that says if you take it out the building you have pay an extra charge. At the time I threw the ice cream cup into my purse and walked out. I felt like I was stealing, but then again I felt it was justified for the price we paid. Not sure if the Mr and I will venture back here again.

Late lunch/early dinner on Saturday 7⁄18 around 4pm. Food completely tasteless. Almost no customers in the restaurant. of course it’s Saturday afternoon on a really hot day. They should be at least as busy as Lucky Buffet across town. It’s hard to keep buffet food fresh when there’s nobody there to eat what you put out. Consequently, fresh food is rare. I mean, what do they do with the«fresh» oysters they have on ice after they have been sitting there all day? I’m not gonna eat ‘em. To be fair, the sushi/sashimi bar is attractive, but again, it all just sits there and isn’t fresh. There’s also a lot of just standing around by the staff waiting to pounce on the next dirty plate. For two of us at this time on a Saturday, the bill came to $ 49.66 including the tax. Almost $ 50 for an Asian buffet. Call me crazy. I’ll never do that again. And to top it all off, just before getting up from the table a mosquito landed on my arm ready to suck more out of me. I smashed it, of course. But a mosquito at a $ 50 buffet? We will not be back.

This location has been a lunch spot for me and my peeps for the last couple of years. Its latest incarnation as a buffet(again) is understandable since the dim sum only option wasn’t drawing big crowds. The price for lunch is good compared to the variety(#11-ish); fruits, desserts, salads, soups, chinese food and a sushi bar. For an aditional $ 1.50 for lunch you can order a soft drink and the remodel added a fully stocked bar from which I assume you can order drinks. The new management is not using the hot stone during lunch hours and I am not sure if they add it and the crab legs for dinner.(I noticed some crawfish in the display during lunch but I didn’t try it.) The place is very big and has a space for special functions, and the main bar and buffet area are gorgeous looking, similar to a hotel or Casino. With the parking and food it would make a good location for an event such as a wedding or birthday. We didn’t have any issue with the staff or the food. Since I am not a foodie I can’t really opine about the taste or method of confection of the meals. It met my standards for the type of experience I’ve had in similar places. Has options for everyone if you are not extremely picky.

Completely disgusting. My boyfriend and I went there in hopes of some good Chinese food and dim sum as advertised. This was not the case. While there was a lot of food to choose from it was all pre made from the freezer to a microwave cheap garbage. I was so disappointed. Something as simple as their fried rice was lacking quality and flavor. We didn’t even want to try to sushi they had as we were the only customers and heaven knows how long it was sitting out. Also, we did do a walk by of the sushi and it looked very sketchy. I already figured we were going to have upset stomachs later so we quit after a trial plate. The service was terrible as well. Good luck with getting attention from the waitstaff. It seems as if they spend all their money and attention to how the place looks than on the food itself. The inside was really nice looking but it didn’t help the horrid taste and quality of the food. Finally the price for the product was completely off. Poor quality food for about 20 bucks a person. I would’ve paid then the 20 bucks if they would’ve saved my time and my taste buds from depression. As you can probably tell from my disappointment that I will not be back and I do hope they change or they will be out business soon. Also these other reviews must be the owners buddies or something because this place is gross. There is no way that they could get even two stars.

I came here last Monday for lunch because I was told of this new Buffet in Everett. So I wanted to see what this had to offer. The décor is pretty nice for a buffet i will admit. It looks like a place where Asian families will host huge family parties. They have a stocked bar with tons of Remy Martin and Henessey, so you know people could turn up if they want to. The food was good. They have similar selection to lucky and mandarin buffet but this place is much cleaner. My main complaint is that they were very slow on keeping food stocked, especially the sushi. The place wasn’t that crowded either, but I will give them the benefit of the doubt since the place just opened. I wouldn’t drive out of my way to eat here but i wouldn’t mind eating here if in Everett and this place over Lucky buffet any day.

I was really, really surprised by all the good reviews on a typical Chinese buffet. After watching the reviews as time went on, I decided I had to come try this four star(at the time of writing) Chinese buffet. Just like everyone else, I was pleasantly surprised at the selection and quality at this buffet. Pretty much everything I had was actually not bad. Most of the time when I go to a buffet, I regret the decision on the first round. But, not here. The sushi actually is pretty fresh. The fish on the nigiri is pretty skimpy, so I would recommend getting sashimi instead. Eating sushi at a buffet, regardless of quality, still felt odd to me so I did not have very much of it. I really liked the sweet sticky rice that was in a pineapple, the shu Mai was pretty good, and I loved their version of the donut. My favorite was their selection of Szechuan appetizers! I think I got thirds of those. They also had mango pudding cubes, which I enjoyed a lot. Their ice cream selection is also pretty cool — they have a freezer stocked with some novel Japanese ice cream products. No doubt I will be back here again.

Well, alot of people told me that the food in this buffet is really dry and not good but since is place is a totally grand opening in the area so i decided to give it a try. I went on a Saturday night with some friends and this restaurant is really impressed me! A variety choices of food. Korean bbq ribs, seafoods, desserts, especially sushi and dim sum!!! Im an asian so seafood and sushi really attracting me i guess hahaaha!!! The food was delicious and our server was nice. He always check on us and see if we need anything. I think that the people told me abt the food in this restaurant is dry is because they come on weekday??? The food gonna sit there and no one eat so it gonna be dry out over time. Well, weekday wont be as many people as weekend and this place is new so i think u have to understand. They even have crabs and lobsters on weekend too, so it worth giving this place a try people.

Great selection! Everything was so fresh and there was so much to choose from. Good variety of sushi. Nice dim sum options. They had fresh fruit and salad. A lot of dishes with vegetables. The staff were very friendly and made sure you were enjoying your meal. The water was frequently refilled. The manager checked on us a couple times.

Went here after a workout. I recommend coming hungry because it’s a buffet so obviously you want to get your money’s worth. The sushi was honestly the best part. They have a bunch of small rolls which are ok. But the sashimi is on point. They are constantly sitting it up fresh and it tasted super fresh which is uncommon of sushi buffets in America I fee like… They also have oysters, shrimp, crab legs. The crab was a little oversteamed but still good. I let the oysters be just because I don’t trust buffets oysters. Some of my group had some though and they didn’t seem to upset their stomachs. The desserts are fun and yummy! The have a huge variety that includes fresh fruit like kiwi, grape and cantaloupe. I recommend trying a little of everything if you are new to Asian desserts. They are pretty tasty and different for sure. Overall pretty good! A definite place to try if you are hungry for a LOT of sushi and Chinese food.

I am beyond happy that a decent buffet place is finally open in Everett! After the incident at Lucky Buffet, I’ve been having to drive way down South. I really hope they can keep up with the business and stay here for good. Great amount of sushi selections to choose from, they were so fresh and the rolls were rolled perfectly where they didn’t fall apart. There were a few items from dim sum such as, pork buns, pork congee, shumai, tripes, and chicken feet. Most of the dim sum items tasted old and soggy, but that doesn’t bother me too much since I’m more about the sushi and seafood they served there. Their seafood selections are amazing! Everything was seasoned very well. The crab legs tray got empty pretty fast but they really kept up with the refills. It is a bit more expensive than most buffet places in the area($ 20 on weekdays and $ 26 on weekends for dinner), BUTIT’S WORTHTHEPRICE. I really hope they can keep up with the business and stay for good.

Wow! I was skeptical when I saw another Asian Buffet place opening in this location. Then I ate there and WOW!!! For those that know Asian Buffets — this is Todai quality but less expensive prices. They had raw oysters and scallops, crab, sashimi AND various popular dim sum(taro balls, congee, sticky rice, tripe…). It is well worth the price. If you love Asian Food… this HASTOBE on your list.
