Excellent Mexican restaurant in Everett. Had dinner here last night and I couldn’t be more than pleased with the food, service and the cleanliness of the place. Perhaps because it was a Tuesday night with only a few customers but the food was fantastic and the staff was both friendly and very accommodating. They even allowed me to take photos of the place and gave a little free education of the paintings of famous artists on the walls. I am from Los Angeles on a business trip here in Everett and this place is a rare gem. Coming from Los Angeles where there is a vast Mexican and Latino population with all their best restaurants, the food at Mazatlan is not only delicious but lives up to all the traditional flavors south of the border. I am definitely coming back here on my next trip.

We hired Mazatlan to cater our son’s wedding reception of 127 people. Working with Marci and Ricardo was great, they are very customer service oriented and came up with a menu that worked for us at a reasonable price. They were very responsive, flexible, and easy to work with. They arrived on time, and brought all the food, plus warmers, plates, napkins, utensils, and help for serving the buffet. I heard from many guests how delicious the food was, and we agree, it was extremely good!
We had both meat and non-​meat eating guests, and the only hiccup we had was that the vegetarian entrees were not marked or made known, so it made it confusing and some of our no-​meat guests ended up with just rice and beans. That was just a hiccup in the planning that I’m sure will be overcome it the situation arises for them again. In any case, we were very pleased overall with the excellent food, service, and price.

Happy Hour here is awesome! I recommend the fish tacos and the Mazatlan Margarita. Luis Miguel is a great bartender. The service is consistently friendly and timely. One of my favorite places to eat in the Everett area!

Went here with my family. The food was definitely amazing! The customer service was great. The food was pricy, but for the experience it was definitely worth it. The Piña Colada was great. Looking forward to trying one of those again.

Absolutely love this restaurant! Best Mexican food in town, hands down! Amazing staff and customer service. Love the owner. Really care for their customers. Second time making it in and definitely will be making my way back again and again!

Updating my review for several reasons.
1. I asked and was given dinner reservations in the lounge for 17 people for my daughter’s 21^st birthday, which also happened to be Taco Tuesday.
2. Mazatlan staff sang to my daughter.
3. A complimentary Tequila Slammer was given to my daughter.
4. A complimentary platter of Sopapillas was brought to our table for all to share.
5. Customer care is taken very seriously here.
6. Food is always fresh and flavorful.
7. Staff is always friendly willing to go above and beyond.

I have eaten lunch here several times. The food is good and the atmosphere is pleasant. I normally have their Carne Asada, it always does the trick for me.

Tough place to go. Service was extremely slow. Plus they ran out of chips! What Mexican restaurant runs out of chips. It was a very disappointing experience for me and my family needless to say we will not be returning.

All I can say is AWESOME and I don’t eat Mexican food that often. But they are willing to change food out for what one can n can’t eat. Great staffed. Gorgeous environment as well as friendly. Friendly patrons too that’s always a plus. Happy customers happy place. Compliments to the chef.

This place is awesome! It is a family owned restaurant; not like the other mexican restaurants around here (mostly chains serving pre-​prepared frozen beans and rice plates that put them in the conveyor oven then add some chicken to the plate. You come here you are served fresh food and you can taste the spices and the freshness. Highly recommended! P. S. Fresh good food needs some time to be cooked and served; keep that in mind!

If ZERO stars was an option I would pick it! Rude, significant language barrier and poor service. Ordered half item got charged for full… waitress admitted she made a mistake– but wouldn’t fix bill to reflect error!!! Not returning and would suggest anyplace else first. El Paraiso is much better and they understand english.

I really wanted to like this place. It’s a great location and is very clean and inviting. The chips and salsa were good, but the story ends there. There were 4 of us so I tasted a little of everything and it was all very bland and very expensive.
I’m sure there’s something on happy hour that isn’t expensive and tastes fine. I’m not opposed to giving this place another shot, but it’ll only be at HH.

Came in for a quick lunch with my wife. I had the burrito and she had the vegetable enchiladas. Both very good.

We came in on Sunday.
Kids menu say kids eat Sunday 2.50. But my other child menu says 2.99. What is it? Then we were told only the first kid items on kids menu were that price ??? But it does not say that anywhere. !!!So what is it ???

Four stars across the board for quality of food, portion size (which was enough for two easily), friendliness and attentiveness of staff, and cleanliness of the restaurant. Great job to the staff!
I had the carnitas de pollo and couldn’t believe the size of the portion and the variety of vegetables was really great.
The restaurant was very close to the hotel I was staying at (well within walking distance) and the reviews on Unilocal and Rewards Dining reeled me in to give it a try; and really glad I did.
When your in the area, give it a try too!

All day Taco Tuesdays for $ 5! But I came here for the dinner. I had the mocajete with chicken and beef with two grilled scallions served with a side of beans and rice as well as some tortillas.
Mazatlan is a place for chicken,
For beef or pork or anything stickin’
Beans and rice and everything nice,
I will be coming more here, twice or thrice.

There drinks are so small compared to other Mexican restaurants. I was expecting a larger drink.
The salsa was sooooo chunky that I had to take my knife and fork and cut the salsa.
I ordered, my dish (vegetarian) and they give me chicken and steak. I politely tell them its nor what I ordered and the server argued with me. He laughed and walked away. I would have waited to have them fix the mistake but we already waited a half hour for our food.
I left. Huge dissatisfaction!!!

40oz beer and endless tacos for $ 10 shut up and take my money!!!
$ 5 Taco Tuesday is truly doing the lords work. They are spreading the beautiful taco goodness to the masses for cheap.
This is the best lunch I’ve has in a while. The value is magnificent, the service is great, the prices are a steal, and let’s face it; if you don’t like tacos get out.
Bring your favorite hot sauce and let’s get to work!

Meh food, but amazing service. We came here after visor in a friend at the rehab center down the street. I’d been craving Mexican food, so we decided to give them a try.
First of all, the food is pretty pricy. We tried to order on the cheap, but got out of there for over $ 30 for a kid’s meal, taco salad and tamales. My son ordered Horchata, and it was nasty. It was almost like it had been sitting and was about to go bad. But, the star they may have lost, they gained back when they exchanged it for a soda without any issue or argument.
Once our food arrived, we were pleased with the portions — my son’s kid burrito plate was actually plentiful. The burrito was a great size, and he was completely full at the end. My taco salad was amazing, too — the chicken was nice and tender as well as marinated to perfection. My niece had tamales, but she said she didn’t like the outside. I tried them and thought they were pretty good.
All in all, it was just an ok experience. I think we would only go back if we were really hungry and in the area.

PROS:
— Attentive service, excellent waitress. I felt badly that she had to deal with my party, which included two rowdy preschoolers and one messy toddler. Don’t worry, we tipped her very well, and she earned it!
— Good food, fresh tortillas made on site.
— Cleanliness of the establishment and restroom.
CONS:
— Buffet? — Not well attended and looked dry.
— Second the reviewer that said «Margarita was weak». In addition, I ordered mine on the rocks, and it was served blended. The waitress took it back and fixed it, so really, no issue.
Heard they have a great happy hour — will be back!
