Stopped in for lunch and it seemed fairly crowded — which I initially mistook as a good omen. I don’t know what everyone else was having but what I had was not good. I ordered the clam chowder and boneless wings with a Porter ale and the best part of the meal was the beer. The chowder was obviously something they’d just poured out of a can and added some bacon strips to in order to «enhance» the flavor. The wings were some mysterious breaded objects where the meat was unidentifiable and something I’m trying to forget about as quickly as possible. If you are going here enjoy one of the many fine beers but bring your own snacks.

So I’ve been disappointed by the service I had received here previously, while the food has always been excellent, the lack of courtesy and service brought the quality of the experience to a low level. I left a comment of my experience on the website and was immediately contacted by Rob inviting me back. I revisited today and was blown away with his hospitality and professionalism. I would definitely recommend this establishment to anyone, and of course will return.

Terrible food, over-priced and dirty glassware. It’s been a while since I’ve had such a horrible meal. Their garden burger was awful. It’s a Morningstar farm patty and very expensive. They messed up my order and brought my drink in a dirty, soaking wet glass. The brownie dessert I bought my kids was also terrible. It’s pretty hard to mess up a brownie! Avocado and lettuce were brown and wilted. Never going back there again. Yuck.

Breakfast pizza is incredible. Biscuits are just store bought. Order the breakfast pizza or the poutine and you’ll be very happy

Overall, they have a good gluten free menu to choose from! Plus they were super kid friendly! We will definitely be coming back to NYP(but likely avoiding the Friday/Saturday crowd…). Try the GF pizza– you won’t regret it!

Been wanting to try this place for a while. …and finally got a chance today. Unfortunately I was HANGRY and fighting off illness, so by the time we got there I was cranky and whiny. I was so past hungry I couldn’t think straight or be creative with the menu. I ordered calamari, and my bf ordered the cheese sticks. The waitress was sweet, and VERY attentive… almost overly attentive. The place was busy. .but not packed. As far as the actual restaurant my only negative comment would be that if I went there to watch a sporting event(since they have at least 6 large tv’s), I would be disappointed. The tv’s are located where the light fixtures hang in the way. They hang too low over the booths, and in the bar. Every tv we looked at was obstructed by light fixtures. Since it’s not football season, I couldn’t care less. .and and we were NOT there to watch anything. .so it was great. One thing I LOVED about the restaurant is that they have a live beer menu up. We were seated near it, so we could read it without having to get up, which was perfect. It shows what’s on tap and how full the tap is… so you don’t miss out on a beer you want. Our appetizers alone were filling. .but we had ordered dinner also. Salmon Caesar salad for me, carnivore pizza for my bf. Had I not been feeling like crap I would’ve tried the burgers(that they are famous for) or even the fish and chips or fish tacos. Caesar salad isn’t that exciting or hard to make. But it was good. My bf enjoyed the pizza. …a little greasy. .but he liked it. Needless to say, 4 boxes later… we’ll be back. Not during a Seahawks game. …but definitely for some beer and food!

Great food and great prices. Only reason I am not giving them a 5 star is because we found a piece of plastic about the size of a .50 cent piece and our server still charged us for the nachos that we didn’t eat.

For a place known for their burgers, the burger was a HUGE disappointment. I heard so many awesome things about this place, but my experience when I finally made it was anything but awesome. It was Sunday at about 9:00 when we arrived, waited a couple minutes without being acknowledged by the two people standing at the small podium. A girl ran up and grabbed some menus finally saying hello to us. We ordered two sodas, onion rings, I ordered the sink pizza he ordered the bacon avocado burger. Onion rings were good. My pizza was dry and the toppings were only on part of the pizza, but it was really good so I didn’t complain. The burger had basically no toppings except a couple pieces of bacon and a couple strings of red onion. The bun was soaked in grease, the burger was a grey on the outside and completely raw(I mean completely-guaranteed that meat never made it up to temperature). It was inedible, so we asked for more fries and said something to the waiter. He apologized and offered to have it remade. While we were waiting the person at the table next to us almost swallowed a piece of glass that was in their drink. He was okay but I feel like all the staff did was ask him if he was okay and move on. When we did receive the new burger 15 minutes or so later, it looked awesome, but it was not what he had ordered. The burger we got had an egg and bbq sauce and bacon and onion rings. Again it looked awesome, but was NOT what he ordered. We were charged full price for our meal and our appetizer even though it was happy hour. The server was nice but seemed stressed. We still tipped and did not complain about him. Normally I don’t leave reviews like this but whoever is running that place needs to realize whoever you have in that kitchen is not representing your business well and that the front of the house suffers for it by having to play damage control. The server was a bigger guy with a buzz cut, he will remember what happened. Definitely not worth $ 50 bucks, probably won’t go again, and won’t recommend it to anyone.

Would give this between 3 – 4 stars but rounding up because of the pleasant experience I had today. Rounding up to be generous. Came here the other day out of curiosity since this used to be the place of the Olive Garden and also because cohorts have touted how good the food is at the NYP restaurant located downtown off Mercer. My dining companion and I tried their pizza, boneless wings, and burger w/fries off their all day happy hour Sunday menu to get a sampling of their menu. Of the three items, we enjoyed the fries that came the most followed by the burger. The pizza was okay and the boneless wings were a bit on the sweet side with hint of orange to it which I was not expecting, but not bad at all. Would come here if I was already in area and would come back for their happy hour menu as I feel that the prices on the happy hour menu are good value for what you get. Would like to come back to try their pulled pork sliders and endless fries off their happy hour menu. Also the service was good here-everyone was very friendly and service was overall prompt and attentive with it being pretty packed the day we came here.

This was our second and last visit to NYP. The food has no flavor. I had the Porky burger and my hubby had the mushroom burger. Both patties tasted like chewy unseasoned ground beef. The pulled pork and bacon on the Porky also had no flavor. Same with our last visit — the Mac and Cheese tasted like a plain white cream sauce and the pizza was undercooked, with tasteless cheese, sauce and toppings.

I don’t know which was worse — the staff or the food– This was will be our last visit, The food and service was just over the top bad. I had paper in my meal and when I told the server he said«Our cooks never place paper in our food» and then blamed it on me and said it was a sugar packet. I hope that someone from management reads this and can correct it. If not restaurants come and go all the time — and this one seems to be on the track on going.

The food is amazing. The menu choices are unique and so far always fantastic. It’s super fresh and I love that it’s local. Every time I go back I want to try something new. I haven’t been disappointed yet! The service is great too. The wait staff is always checking up and super pleasant.

Second time NYP has screwed me out of a meal!!! They won’t be getting any more of my business. I took all the necessary steps(I thought) to ensure I was going to get my lunch this time & all I got was, «I’m sorry, we don’t have your order.» I even called after placing my order online to confirm it went thru & was told it had. An hour later when I went to pick it up, they tried to give me someone else’s order & had no record of mine… So I’m curious where this chick checked & saw my order when I called to confirm it?! I’ve heard this has happened to friends of mine as well. There are plenty of other businesses within driving distance of my work. NYP gets no more money from me!!!

This place isn’t bad for Everett but I’ve had better. One thing I really liked was the be sauce and the onion ring. But the burger was way under cooked for being medium well. Maybe they thought I said medium raw but it was super raw and this has happened twice. The fries are good and the staff are friendly but I doubt I’d go back.

After a hard day at work and a heinous commute from Seattle, my husband and I stopped in again to NYP for dinner. Food has always been excellent but the service we got tonight from Joe G. was the biggest highlight. His service is attentive but not stuffy, our drinks were always full, he made excellent suggestions but most of all his manner and personality turned our day from underwhelming to a really fantastic evening. We will definitely be back and hopefully be lucky enough to be seated in Joe’s section again!

My family and I really like this place. The food no matter what we have ordered has always been wonderful. We like sitting in the bar… less wait time when they are busy. Favorite so far is the Steak Alfredo and the marenera sauce used dipping the stromboli. Have a great tap collection that is rotating consistently

The service here was actually great for as late as we went in on a Thursday night but the food is terrible. The food is bland and feels thrown together with generic Sysco ingredients. To be fair, it’s probably pretty good if you’re hammered. The mixed drinks are weak and not worth the hefty price tag. There’s a McMenamins close by, go there instead.

Black Friday brunch? Oh yeah! It’s the best way to start the day when we are avoiding shopping. So many amazing choices, Bennie’s for days, pancakes in a choice of three flavors(buttermilk, blueberry and chocolate chip). My son went for the NYP slam, and I ordered the Green Eggs & Ham breakfast pizza. That pizza sounds weird in paper, but oh my goddess, it’s AMAZING. pesto, over easy egg, bacon, Canadian bacon(back bacon), and cheese on a wonderful crust is enough to make me say Yummmmmm! The flavors combine to make a tasty but filling breakfast treat. My son’s meal looked yummy — chocolate chip pancakes, egg, bacon, fruit and a muffin is a lot of food, but my boy has the hollow leg to fill, so he ate it with a smile! The service is friendly, we were greeted cheerfully and seated right away. Or waiter was super cool and answered all our questions. We received our food super fast, and they didn’t mind if we lingered while I wrote this review. My second time here, and it was another stellar experience. You totally should try this place.

A few months ago, this place was getting mild reviews moat likely due to training and opening pains. Now, I couldn’t give credence to the bad reviews after having had a really good and relaxing lunch from their specials menu. For $ 9.00 I had a salad and the carnitas taco(the menu lets you pair several soups and salads with a few main course options; they also have a soup and salad special for the same price). The portion and taste were excellent as well as the presentation for the price. Remember, it is a lavishly modern styled place and the meal price reflects the décor and ambiance they are marketing. The happy hour menu had very nice drinks for decent prices and their beer selection was very good. It is a nice place for young hip crowds but can also be appreciated by anyone who wants a casual dining experience with some pizzazz. There was a group during our lunch and although big it didn’t slow down our order nor the service. Takes about 45 mins to get through lunch but again the place was half to ¾s full when we placed our order. Worth the trip since they have pizzas and other fares if tacos and salads are not for you.
