We went there today based on past reviews. Found out there are new owners one week old. My friend had the super burrito which was dry and tasteless. The chicken inside was small pieces of what looked like cut up chicken nuggets with breading on it. I had the Sope with carnitas which had little meat and some of it was burned and over cooked, not much taste to it as well. their chips are good and I did order a wet burrito for my son to go and he said it was good. I will wait for more reviews before I go back again.

Entertainment Book coupon not recognized. Restaurant sold. No sign on door telling customers no coupon recognized. A casual lunch costs $ 23!!! Food decent but took forever to be served. Help surly. Homeless guy wearing his sleeping bag one of the patrons. A real downer.

Love this place. Great food. Family owned with authentic Mexican food. One of my favorite items is the camarones a la Diablo. Super spicy!

Went here with a perfectly legit coupon that the manager would not honor. Total waste of time.

Excellent nachos! The tortilla chips are light and fluffy. Just the perfect amount of toppings. Chicken was grilled perfectly, not dry as most places serve it. Loved it! PS the current owners bought the restaurant about 5 months ago so come check them out!

I’ve eaten here multiple times the food is good and it’s cheap it’s the same quality as any other mid to high end Mexican restaurant but the best thing about this place is it taste more home-cooked 10−9−15 updating my review still eating here the food is she’s off the hook don’t let the scary paint job for you this place is bomb eaten at multiple other Taqueria’s and it’s just not as good

I learned of this place through a $ 10 off coupon in my entertainment book. New owner said he will only honor $ 5 off. Our family ordered the Super Burito, Wet Burrito, and four tacos. The food tasted alright. Nothing spectacular about it. The chicken had lots of bone bits in it snd that ruined it. The best things about the meals were the quantity of food, the incredibly low prices, and the large cups for water. Too often restaurants give you a tiny glass when you order water, and these guys did not do that so I am giving them 2 stars instead of one because of that and their low prices.

I ordered a carne asada super quesadilla and it tasted nothing like what it was suppose to, I can’t even explain what it tasted like maybe just the tomatoes and onions that were in it because it hardly had any carne asada in it. My husband got the carnitas and they were pretty good, the menu price said 10.99 but we were charged 11.99 when we pointed that out she said sorry that’s wrong we haven’t changed it yet… WTF

I had been driving by this place for a while thinking that it was exactly the type of place I should stop in and try and I definitely wasn’t wrong! This is a great family-run restaurant that serves delicious home cooked Mexican and seafood dishes. The staff is so helpful and friendly and everything is done and prepared with the greatest care and love. The prices are very reasonable and there are daily specials that change often. The food is prepared from scratch and you can taste the quality in everything. From street tacos to huevos rancheros to fish tacos and ceviche, everything is excellent. I definitely recommend that you try the chili relleno and mole when their available! The inside seating is simple and comfortable and the focus is really on the food and the service. I have tried almost everything on their menu and have not been disappointed with a single item. They even make their own aguas frescas! Give this place a try and you won’t be disappointed!

The restaurant itself is pretty gross, so I just order to go. The food is great, though! Editing to add that they really cleaned the inside up! It looks great!

Nice Mom & Pop restaurant serving home made tasty authentic Mexican food. I really appreciate how challenging it is to have the courage & dedication to open your own business. We have eaten here about 5 times and had very tasty & hearty food each time. Our friend had the fish tacos & he said they were the best he’d ever had. We had the chile relenjo which was great, burritos, tacos, shrimp cocktail were all tasty. The thing I must rave about are the homemade drinks! The horchata isn’t made from a cheap powder mix and the fruit juices(aquas frescas) are absolutely amazing!!! Highly recommend stopping in for lunch or dinner. You wont be disappointed!(I’m sorry about my fractured spelling but you get the picture)

This is the best Mexican food I have tasted in all of Sacramento. The owner greets you at the counter, his mother and sister cook the food in the kitchen, and the owner serves it to you. He is very friendly and the food quality is outstanding. The portions are generous, and the salad on the plate is extremely fresh, including the avocado. There is a nice selection of drinks from the cooler or fountain. The food is served hot and fast, out in five minutes, and this was at noon time on a Saturday. You’ve got to try this place.

HANDSDOWN, BEST wet shrimp burrito I’ve EVER had. They are adorably family owned and SO friendly! Clean dining area. Kid-friendly, with cartoons on their big screen to entertain my four year old while we wait. The food is extremely fresh and everything is delicious! I will be be telling my friends about this little place. New favorite!
