OMG! Let me start out by saying Steve’s Pizza used to be great it had thick soft crust, excellent croutons and a fabulous salad bar. my co-works and I were there every week. Now… No forks, no Ranch, salad bar sucks, I reached to try a kidney bean-«Hello tasted foul.» anyway continuing on. I should have left right there and then. Continuing on my list : red chili flakes. no joke(brown) The pizza… flat like it was boxed, he said he made just made it, but I didn’t believe him. BEWARE.save your money . I’m so mean :(

I should have trusted my fellow Unilocalers, Only having a Living Social deal and after placing my order said they have no way redeeming there money from LS. I said then why is that you have codes to LS that lets you use there system to get your due portion of the purchase. The owner said its not my problem and you deal with LS and further proceeded to teo tell me. «You want to place a order or not?» very rudely. I have put up from a wide variety of people in the restaurant and bar industry in my years. Never have had someone that worked for a business let alone the owner and stare me down and ready to pick a fight with me. Not to brag but being of fairly large stature and worked as bouncer back in the day, I found very funny that is older gentleman would have faced off to me and wanted to start a confrontation in front of his 1 employee which I suspect was his wife/gf/concubine or what have ya. Maybe he was looking to impress her who in the hell knows. With that said I walked away and contacted LS and they said they are removing them. And after reading all the UnilocalS on this issue of them redeeming any sort of Voucher/Gift Certificate I am surprised these places have not removed this place off there sites. So there you have been warned. STAYFARFARAWAY.

One star because I can’t give negative stars. I ordered a gluten free pizza with no cheese. Almost 45 minutes later we were given a pizza that was burned on top, raw on the bottom and covered with feta cheese. When I pointed out I had asked for no cheese, he tried to tell me that only applied to the mozzarella and that feta was one of the toppings. If I wanted no feta I should have specified no feta. Really? No cheese doesn’t really mean no cheese apparently. I just got a refund and left.

There is no possible way to put negative stars for this place… Cardboard crust… Stale topoings… Unfriendly service.

We live in Fair Oaks, used to frequent Steve’s when our kids were young, hence it had been a few years. We had a Living Social voucher. Owner was by himself, very few customers. His attitude was frosty, a cold stare. After working our order up to the required amount, the owner’s expression changed. He said the voucher, which had been handed to him off the bat, would not work and no way to fix the problem. We suggested he take the voucher and run it when customer service was available. A hostile refusal. I informed him he had a legal agreement with Living Social to honor the voucher. Owner said it was ‘my problem’ not his. This place has gone down way down, no longer welcoming, or ethical for that matter. Advise stay away.

My husband and I have an ongoing lists of restaurants in the Sacramento area that we wanted to try and Steve’s Pizza was one of them. We decided to go on Friday night with my mom who was in town visiting for Easter. It was about 6pm when we got there and I thought it was going to be so busy being dinner time. We were the only people in there. Not sure of he was the owner or what, but he was working by himself and was not friendly at all. I explained that we had never been there before so he would stop staring at us while we were making our decision. Both my mother and I ordered personal pizzas and my husband ordered a meatball sandwich and I ordered garlic cheese bread. We found a table and waited in an incredibly warm restaurant, there A/C was not on at all. A few other people came in to the business, one with a young boy who went to play the video games that weren’t even on. Kind of sad to watch. The garlic bread was just OK. I am pretty sure it consisted of french bread, butter and garlic with cheese sprinkled on top, pretty blah. My mom, husband and I all agreed that our food was pretty mediocre at best. There was nothing fantastic about the pizza and my husband said that the meatball sandwich was just OK, this was coming from the man who eats anything. We will not be returning. Turn on the A/C, fix the video games, put a smile on your face and hire some more people.

Thank you to Steve’s Pizza for hosting our preschool fundraiser. We had at least 15 families there on a Friday and the manager did an unbelievable job single-handedly taking orders, packing to-go and other delivery orders, bussing tables, and serving up hot and delicious pizzas, appetizers, and drinks. I really don’t understand the other reviews as we’ve always experienced excellent service and great food at this Steve’s location. Everyone in our party enjoyed the evening and good food. Thank you again to Steve’s Pizza for supporting the local community!

The food took about 30 minutes to be ready. The guy that gave the food to me stank very badly he needed a shower and looked dirty. The soda machine was broken so only about 3 sodas were working and he didn’t even tell us after we paid full price for it. In addition the food was not that great(don’t get the hot wings or the California pizza).

Want a great pizza in a very clean eating environment staffed by very nice, friendly people? Try Dell’s Pizza(across the street at 8112 Madison Ave., F.O.). You won’t be disappointed!

Disgusting food! I’m attaching a picture of the pizza not only was it burned but it seems to have old grease stuck along the bottom. Taste terrible. The baked Ziti was almost like a soup in the bottom full of flavorless water and tons of sauce and cheese. I added lots of Parmesan to mask the flavor but I would never come here again. I don’t think I even need to write this review because people have figured it out, place was empty and it’s in a moving location. Waitress was awesome and the only«good» thing about the restaurant. My advice is to stay far away!

I will never go here again. I was starving and went to the lunch buffet at 12 pm. The pizza was cold only a few slices left. I told the manager the pizza was cold and asked him when was he bringing out some fresh slices he replied and said I’m sorry somebody must of turned the temperature down. I waited 30 min for fresh pizza to come out nothing every came out. The whole entire time I was there he just watched me. I felt very uncomfortable the worst pizza place I ever went to and wont be ever returning. They need new management.

Had a groupon, went in there and now they no longer accept the groupon even though it’s not expired. The man behind the counter is rude and has the worst customer service and I’m pretty sure he’s the owner. I like Steves pizza but I’ll go to the el dorado hills one because this place is not worth going to unless you like a dirty environment and horrible customer service.

Worst experience ever. It’s overpriced, run down, and the service is pretty much the worst I have ever experience. We ended up walking out after they refused to honor their gift certificate from . DONOTGOHERE if you want to have a decent dining experience.

Great food. Great service. Sure there is a language barrier with heavy accent, but the outstanding service will more than make up for it. If you come with an open mind, you will be pleasantly surprised.

We come here occasionally, as it’s close to our house and the pizza is decent. Normally, it’s not a memorable experience – nothing good or bad enough to write about. However, today my mama-bear instinct is kicking in and compelling me to write a review. There are arcade games here and those awful machines that dole out the cheap crap that kids love, kids including my 9-year-old daughter. When we got into the restaurant, my daughter wanted to grab her wallet out of the car so that she could play games or get cheap rings and stickers while we waited. Alas, when she opened her wallet, she didn’t have enough quarters. I suggested that she should take a dollar bill to the counter to exchange it for four quarters, so she did. However, when she got there, the man working in the empty restaurant chastised her, telling her that he was NOT responsible if she didn’t get anything out of the machines, and then he said, «And don’t ask me for quarters again!» This was completely unnecessary treatment of my well-mannered daughter who politely asked for four quarters. Not ok. I won’t be returning.

Pizza buffet? More like plastic salad buffet where there might be a slice or two of cardboard pizza. My friend and I were originally going to eat at an Italian place in the same parking lot, but since they weren’t open, we decided to just walk over to Steve’s Pizza. I hadn’t heard of it from anyone, but I love to try new places, and she was too hungry to care. The windows outside advertise a pizza buffet from 11−2pm. We walked inside at 11:40a.m., and there was no pizza made at all. None. So we asked him, «Where is the pizza that’s supposed to be on the buffet?» He says, «No, is not time for pizza yet. We put pizza out in maybe seven eight more minutes.» We say, «What kind of pizza are you going to put out?» He says, «What kind you like?» I say, «Something with white sauce.» She says, «Pepperoni.» He says, «Pepperoni with white sauce?» She and I both grimace. I say, «No, no, no. Something like your chicken bacon ranch pizza.» He literally goes and makes a pizza with white sauce, chicken, and onion. He said that the pizzas on the buffet could not have more than 2 – 3 toppings. What? Ten minutes later, he puts out a pepperoni pizza. I should mention that the pizzas are not only the size of the 99 cent pizzas from the frozen section at Wal-Mart, but taste about the same. The crust is like a thick cut of cardboard. The ingredients are so last week. Yuck. To top it all off, as I was paying, he said, «Something to drink?» I said, «Do you have Italian soda?» He snorkeled as if I’d said something completely stupid. «Why would we have Italian soda? This is a pizza place.» Me: «Pizza is Italian.» Him: «We have soda, you could say soda, you didn’t have to say, ‘Italian soda.’» It is now clear to me that he doesn’t know what Italian soda is, so I say, «Pizza and Italian soda are both Italian.» He continues to laugh as if I’d said the dumbest thing he’d heard all year. It was extremely rude. Just so you know, sir, Italian soda is a common American beverage. It is sold at many Italian restaurants and even at many of your competing pizza chains. So maybe you should think about learning what it is and maybe even carrying it. It would really help wash down those cardboard ingredients. I’m just saying.

The one star is for the semi decent burger. I also ordered 2 kids meals chicken nuggets. First off the Nuggets came shoved in the same box, this was ordered for 2 kids. It came with a(literally) a sample of potato salad. It was the size of a condiment cup. The Nuggets were burnt, potato salad was gross. These were $ 3.99 each, not worth it for that. I got a double cheeseburger, it wasn’t bad but it was $ 6.99. Also ordered garlic bread with cheese, this was ice cold for $ 2.49 :/ I’m thinking these 5 star reviews are bogus. This place was not good.

I used to luv to cone here when I was in high school. Wow has time taken it toll on thus place. I saw that they had a grupon available so I jumped on it, big mistake. I have never been anywhere that made you spend more than the grupon was worth in order to use it, rip off. When I ask why of course the only person working could barely speak English enough to explain it. This place is just warn out and when I walked in the place was empty and there were dirty tables everywhere. Needless to say I won’t be back. SUCKITSTEVE!!!

This is an extremely unprofessional businessthey they do coupons on Groupon and then don’t seem to want to honor them or when you try to order a pizza they will not make the pizza until you’re there showing them the coupon. I strongly recommend you avoid this pizza restaurant at all cost. Dissed honest crook of an owner!
