This store is ok. I needed to add professional pieces to my wardrobe and I was very unimpressed. This was during the 4th of July(ie, major summer/semi-annual) sales going on all week at stores. I want to like AT for their styling but at times, its a little too flashy and fabrics can be very cheap looking. I much preferred AT from 4 – 5 years ago than what they are today. It’s very much hit and miss and some reason nearly all their professional pants are labeled«dry clean only», they really need to have more options. Professional pants that can be machine washed, plenty of other stores have them. I browsed the sale section and I didn’t think it was very organized. I couldn’t even find the petite sale section, maybe they didn’t have it but if they did I would wonder why they didn’t clearly mark where the petites were. Then I went to the non-sale petite section hoping that I could find a few things. Boring black suits, and yes everyone needs a black suit but they only carried one petite suit style in one color. No greys, charcoals, navy? The petite selection in this store is small, but that seems to be the case in other AT stores as well. As for the customer service, that could have made up for it. Despite having I think 2 – 3 SAs on the floor no one said a single thing to me until I got to the register. Now, unless you think it was ME and not them, I was on a major power shopping trip that day and I went to 5 stores(Rack, AT, Lord&Taylor, F21, & Talbots) all one after another from 10 to 2. AT is the only one where no one greeted me/offered assistance. I ended up only buying a belt that came to $ 11(orig $ 30). I wouldn’t rule out coming here if you’re already at the mall, it never hurts to look and browse around. It’s just really meh.
