Good presentation with excellent quality food. Only piece of advice is to differentiate between the water and soda cups so cheap people don’t get soda in water cups

Great food and great service. It is always on my list of cheap and fast good food. Lines are getting bigger and bigger though, I guess other people like it too!

Whenever I’m at this location, the service is SOOOOO slow. Ya’ll have 4 – 5 people in the back just hanging out and watching the 1 – 2 people struggle to get food out at the prep line. It’s horrible. I feel bad lol I’ve only been to this location twice. The first time, I had to wait in line for 45 minutes — da fuq? The 2nd time, I waited 15 mins… really? and it wasn’t even that busy though. The girl that was making food for us told me that they had no harissa left and she did not bother to go and check, but checked when someone else requested for an item that they ran out of. Is there selective help or something? My bf decided to not get anything even after having ordered and returned it to the kitchen. I decided to just stick with my pita. The only good thing about this location is that they have Maine Root Sodas now — which is the best part along with their juices. Food is just meh. At least at this location.

Been here a bunch of times with my husband and friends! All the food is freshly made daily. Its like a Chipotle style restaurant with Mediterranean food. The line gets long sometimes but service is quick! So many different sauces and toppings to choose from. Everything is really tasty and flavorful– Great for a quick healthy meal. They also have really good fresh made juices. Great for a vegetarian or meat lover! Meat is very lean, so no need to worry about biting into that delicious cartilage piece or fat chunk(Chipotle ;))

Great place for some quick Mediterranean food. It’s a assembly style place with great options for vegetarians and vegans! If you get the half rice/half salad bowl then it comes with a free mini pita(you have to ask though!). They have a variety of meats, vegetables, and sauces to choose from based on your preference. I liked the chicken with tzatziki, garlic pepper hummus, and the tomatoes and onions. You can get as many vegetables as you like. The drinks were great as well, the guy at the register gave me a free drink and told me to try them out since they change seasonally! Overall, great service and a good place to sit down and get food, or to grab a quick bite to go!

Tables were in need of a wipe down but other than that, nothing it a good experience. The pita chips are fab and if you are feeling adventurous have them mix the lemon herb tahini and yogurt dill for you on the side. Definitely worth the taste!

This is my favorite fast casual chain, and I was so excited to hear that they opened one in Fairfax City. Previously I only had Cava Grill when I was near Tysons or Mosaic, or when I was so desperate I drove almost half an hour to Mosaic for some. This location is only 10 minutes away, in the same shopping center as Golfsmith and Jimmy Johns and across from Fairfax Honda. This location is clean and modern. They don’t have large menu signs but have handouts you can use to order. Cava Grill has rice bowls, salad bowls, greens and grains(half salad, half rice), pitas, and mini pitas. Soups, sides, snacks, and custom drinks/teas are also available. I usually go with the greens and grains, but I vary my dips, proteins, and other toppings. The crazy feta dip is my favorite, and I highly recommend it! It has a kick which goes well with the other creamy dips like tzatziki. You really can’t go wrong with anything you try, as long as you’re open to Mediterranean style dishes. If you want to get in and out quickly, go on a weekday. Weekends are a lot busier, but even if the line looks long it moves very fast. The staff is friendly and will remember you if you come often enough. Cava is the best!

I need to rate this five stars because I would honestly eat here every day, twice a day, possibly three times. The flavors are so varied and delicious and everything is so fresh! The only limitations are your imagination when putting your bowl or pita together! If you haven’t gone, go, and maybe glance at the menu online first so you’re not super overwhelmed by all of the delicious options. The staff is great, the food is great, my autocorrect now changes CAVA to CAAAVAAAAA. Cava, I love you, thank you for being near my office. My only quibble is that the lunch line can get really backed up from the online orders! Still worth the wait.

I must say this place is one or my absolute favorite places to eat at, and because of that I am a regular here and come here at least once a week. The food is always fresh and the flavors of the food is always amazing. I am on a diet so this place is a great place to have healthy food without blowing your diet and having to settle for something bland. All the drinks they have there are very tasty and refreshing. I usually get the same thing here which is a salad bowl here with double chicken. I would highly recommend everyone come here to eat as the food is AMAZING!!!

Thank you for bringing the grilled veggies! Falafel is sometimes too much — being fried & all. The BEST staff here: friendly, efficient & engaging. My amazing fiancé lives near this Fairfax location. I feel like I hit the lottery when I read that Cava is opening up on Duke Street outside old town. Love the history of how Cava started. Those guys trusted their gut & took big gamble. Consumers win! Crazy feta & harissa & great soups.

Cava is nothing compared to Chipotle at the end of the strip mall. Cava has fresh food and even pulls it out of the refrigerator when you ask, which I favor more, that way it won’t get germs or is less likely to be sneezed and coughed on. I came here for a lunch date with my boss and it is one of thee perfect spots! The noise level is just right, not so quite and not too loud! Much clean! Wow. Anything, any mix you order here is not going to disappoint you.

Delicious options with a healthy twist, which quite frankly needs to be replacing all these Chipotles and McDonalds around here. I wish there was more of them! This one gets super busy, especially on the weekends. Usually there’s a long line but it actually goes by pretty fast. You can choose from salads, grain bowls, mini pitas or a mix of salad and rice. I usually go for brown rice, meatballs, chicken or falafels, hummus, tzatziki, feta and a bunch of random toppings. You must get the pita chips to dip into your bowl or just eat, they are so good! As for the drinks, I think each location is different especially for the juices/teas, which is really why I come here. They have this amazing juice at Fairfax location, I think its like pineapple mint and its amazing!!! I wish I could take the whole thing home with me. But actually all their juices are so delightful and refreshing. Its something I look forward to every time I come. They also have a cava app that when you buy something you get points, which can get you rewards. Prices are cheap but the food is fresh and delish all the time.

This place is amaze balls! I absolutely LOVE Cava and really can’t get enough of this place. I’m so happy this location opened, because now I can eat here a lot more often. This place is basically like a Mediterranean Chipotle, but way better. They locally source their food, which is awesome and it tastes great. You start by deciding on your base. I always get the SuperGreens salad and Grains as my base and add chicken and all the toppings I want. I love that Cava has several different choices for lettuce for their salads and they have a lot more toppings than other casual Mediterranean places. The food tastes so fresh and never disappoints. They have cookies from a local shop that are super tasty and a great way to end a meal. Not only is the food amazing, but the workers are all super friendly and patient. They are efficient, but don’t make you feel too rushed as you go down the line. This location is typically crowded, but the line moves pretty quickly. If you like Mediterranean food, this is definitely the place to check out for a quick, inexpensive, tasty meal that will leave you satisfied.

Holy madre this place is as good as it gets. Quick, super friendly service. Fair prices. Big portions. I got the grain bowl with white basmati rice, tzatziki, chicken, diced cucumbers, and dill sauce. Best. God. Dang. $ 8.85. Ever. Spent. Their sodas are all unique and at first I was disappointed to not see Diet Coke, but then I tried their Mexicane soda and now I’m gonna want to buy it every day. Deliciously sweet. This place is legit, and it’s some of the best food I’ve ever had. Amazing. Outstanding. Delicious. Everything.

Cava Mezze oh how I am falling in love with you! I’m so excited to be introduced to some new food items at Cava Mezze these days! Everythiing I have tried is fresh, fresh, fresh. Tasty. Delicious. Healthy? Yes, I daresay, healthy. And the combinations! I’m just getting started! The folks are very helpful, too, if you are unfamiliar with the offerings. I have found that carrying their little menu with me up to the counter is helpful, since nothing is marked. The menu says, Choose Two of These, Choose All You Want of This, but the bins aren’t labeled so without my cheat sheet, I’m a bit lost. I’m getting better, though! I love their falafel, which is basically ground and grilled chick peas. Who knew — a vegetarian option I actually love! The crazy feta, the tzatziki sauce, the tahini — om nom nom. I have such fun changing it up each time I go. And then there are the beverages. Vanilla Ginger Lime, Watermelon Mint, Blueberry Organic Soda, all delicious. And refreshing! Great change of pace from the usual iced tea and sodas. Just writing about all of this is making me so hungry! Can’t wait to go back!

Mediterranean food is one of my favorite cuisines. And given that their parent/main restaurant Cava Mezze(located in Clarendon) is one of my Top 3 favorites restaurants in the area, I love the fact that they have a more casual/convenient version. Although they don’t offer the same things, the flavor elements are still all there. This Chipotle-esque method is perfect for picky eaters like me. You get to choose: 1. Style– Salad, pita, wrap, rice bowl, etc. 2. Protein– Lamb, chicken, falafel, etc. 3. Dips– Hummus, tzatziki, harissa, etc. 4. Toppings– Veggies, quinoa, etc. 5. Sauces– Tahini, olive oil, etc. So many choices! But I usually have a go-to which is too complex to recite. All the flavors work together and you really can’t go wrong with any of the combinations unless you just straight up have a horrible palate. It’s also a lot of food when comparing to its cost. And their drinks/teas are unique and flavorful. It’s quite the healthy option if you choose to make it so. This location is SO spacious and clean on the inside, they also have outdoor seating. When in doubt choose Cava!

Well, this is an uncomfortable review to write after all of the 5 stars but I have to be honest and really hope I don’t offend anyone, this is all just my opinion. Personally, I don’t like this place. This is my second visit to CM and I didn’t think I’d ever return. Why don’t l like it? Well, in my opinion there’s tooooo much going on in 1 bowl, in addition to that, I don’t like the way their meat tastes. Now, that could have a lot to do with the fact that I’m Persian and don’t particularly agree with other middle eastern seasonings. The sauce is a hit or miss. The Siracha yogurt was way too spicy for me and the zesty sauce left a bitter after taste in my mouth. HOWEVER, with alll of that said, their Pita chips are AMAZING and their Feta sauce is really good! I think if I ever go back to place again it will be primarily for some pita chips and feta sauce. Their staff was very helpful, polite, patient and sweet. Two thumbs up to all of the smiling faces behind the counter :) I’m not going to knock this place because I know a lot of people enjoy it, however, it’s just not the place for me.

Absolutely obsessed! Definitely my new go to place. It’s basically like a Chipotle — but with Mediterranean food. You get to pick from an abundance of ingredients(I personally get basically everything). I opted for brown rice(at an attempt to be healthy) and honestly you can’t even tell the difference between that and white if you are trying to decide between the two. Tons of sauces, six different types of meats, lots of toppings and a dressing on top. I personally recommend the Tahini if you don’t know which one to pick. Wish they gave some larger portions though — I always have to ask for a little more. Definitely have to try the drinks as well. They also have local grown food — which is awesome and they are open about where their products are from right there in the store. You can get some points by downloading their app that you directly connect with your credit card and get a free $ 3 the first time you use the app. Who doesn’t love some free money? Extremely busy during lunch and dinner times but I think it’s definitely worth the wait. Love this place!

A free meal is a great way to lure customers in before a grand opening the following day. It took about 45 mins to receive our food and sit down and that was arriving 15 mins early for the dinner crowd. While waiting in line we were giving the menu in hopes that people prepared beforehand what they wanted and no issues while ordering. This of course is in a perfect world which we don’t live in ugh The food was good and loved the many options to make it healthy or unhealthy as you wanted. I highly recommend the pita crisps! Of course not the healthiest but needed carbs! Ha! They have tons of teas and would recommend changing it up and mix two of them. Be spontaneous and daring
