Its a nice relaxing place to eat. The atmosphere is a little on the dark side because of the lighting set up inside. Servers are very polite and they work at a good paste. Not Rushing around like a crazy restaurant. So if you want a nice place to go to enjoy a glass of Wine that is the place to go. Music isn’t to bad either. Bathrooms are very well kept, and the tables of dinning rooms are very clean too. The Carpet Flooring in the restaurant is spotless. I actually used to work as a host at this restaurant. So I know how the place is managed. They have changed the Menus a couple of times just to let you know. But anyways, When I come here with the Family, I order for a drink: Peach Tea. To tell you the Truth, it’s not real Peach Tea, and I am really Not Enjoying that. So, I don’t think I will order that Tea Anymore. I want the Real Deal. For an appetizer I order Clam Chowder. I enjoy the Clam Chowder that they have there. It’s Not the Best that I have had in my Life, But it is good. For my Meal I ordered Snow Crabs, it came with little Potato Balls, and Corn on the Cob, and I also ordered the Fries. The Fries here are Seasoned and very Tasty, I do Enjoy that there. Another Meal that I order sometimes instead of their Delicious Snow Crabs is the Alfredo. That is very a very Yummy Meal. My Wife ordered that, so You Know I Did of course have a bight. Hahaha. This Restaurant is a place to visit and just some information for you if you didn’t know, Red Lobster and Olive Garden are Owned by the same Company. I believe it’s Called Darden. Our Server that Served Us tonight:(Oak) is a very polite and Respectful Caring Employee, so if you go there and have her as a server you will be well taken care of. So what are you waiting for go try this Red Lobster Location Out.

Very good. Give it a try. Recommended. We stopped visiting Red Lobster restaurants more than 20 years ago because of a general downturn in the quality of food and service. This was our first visit since the late 1990’s. Having said that, this place was a nice surprise. We visited, largely, because our hotel was next door and the weather was cold. We ordered the grilled shrimp skewers and the Ultimate feast. Presentation and tastiness were OK. The total cost for two with 1 non-alcoholic drink each: $ 53 with tip. This is a typical cost for dining in the U.S. We’ll revisit this place if we’re in the area. Visited December 2015

We were very happy with the service and the food. We thought the prices were a bit high so we probably won’t come back too often. Portions were large and bread was good and hot.

In my experience, Red Lobster presents a gaping discrepancy between advertisement and the real dish that ends up on your table. the ads are skilful at producing an expectation of taste treat. The actual product that wound up on our table– the baked fish, the shrimp and the scallops, were the most pathetic pretense at edible and tasty we have seen in years of restaurant dining in the Fairfax area. Never again, not even if it is free!

Red Lobster it’s a chain of course and has it’s ups and downs but I like the Fairfax location. The service is great, dealt with a couple of different people there all were polite and helpful and did provide multiple refills of both drinks and biscuits, which yes are very good. I like the fact they have the big booths, makes for cozy conversations. The food is pretty standard and I wasn’t blown away by the seafood but my standards are pretty high for seafood and I have my go to places when that is all that matters. My favorite places are small, independent, international joints, this is the complete opposite but scratches the itch for good old fashioned dining with great service.

Awful place. The only thing that isn’t horrible is the cheddar biscuits. Everything else is greasy and will have you feeling sick by the time you’re walking out.

I invited my friend and his wife for dinner, everyone agreed to go to Red Lobster. The service was bad.

Red Lobster isn’t fine dining, nor do I expect it to be. But I’m quite satisfied with my experience. Started with the always-yummy cheddar biscuits and some stuffed mushrooms. I ordered a crab cake and Sockeye salmon special. Upon delivery, the server noticed that they’d included Atlantic salmon instead of the Sockeye. She took it back and offered me some soup while I waited. The lobster bisque was reasonable, the crab cakes were average but acceptable, and the Sockeye salmon was quite good. I tried some king crab and snow crab someone else in my party had ordered and they were cooked correctly. Upon receiving the check, we saw that not only did they comp the soup, but they also comped the crab cakes and salmon. I wasn’t at all upset with the delay, so perhaps this was unnecessary, but I’ll certainly return in the future.

Very disappointed. Everything was bad but the lobster. Way over priced and not enough food. The service was ok and the bread was awesome. I don’t think I’d come back but if I did, I’d only and only get lobster. The atmosphere is dark and very dirty. I was very disappointed with everything. Probably won’t ever go back

My friends and I were hanging out this afternoon when one of them checked their Facebook and saw that one of her co-workers had checked in to Red Lobster to celebrate their anniversary. She immediately made fun of them when I mentioned that I had heard that they recently revamped their menu. She decided to look at it and after a quick perusal, decided that we were going there for dinner. Honestly, this was not how I was expecting to spend my Saturday night but I can’t be mad with unlimited cheddar bay biscuits hot from the oven and oodles and oodles of noodles drenched in a butter laden shrimp. Sure my mouth has shrunken from all of that high sodium but if that isn’t the sign of a delicious dinner than I don’t know what is. The restaurant has transformed itself from the razz-and-pizazz of my childhood into a slightly more elevated casual feel with lots of dark wood and subtle nautical images. Our server was on point and made sure to check on us often and offer us refills on biscuits and water. He split our check even though we did not ask and cleared our plates like a champ. It was all I could ever want. Simply put, Red Lobster is still as good in 2015 as it was in 1996… now that’s saying something!

Horribly greasy and salty food, I ordered the crab appettizer that comes with mushrooms and the texture was that of mush, the lobster spinach dip was good but it was more spinach and onion than lobster, i only could find like 2 – 3 crumbles of it. Just horrible. Everything was greasy. We also ordered the seafood trio and the other plate that comes with salmon, lobster and shrimp(forgot the name) they were actually cooked really good but again too much on the salty and seasoning side, even the manager acknowledge it when he shoed up at our table since our waiter was clearly not interested in earning tips. She would disappear for forever we actually had to ask to another server for our check. I also ordered two bahamas mama, the first one was delicious, the second one i guess was a different bartender cuz it had different flavor and texture it wasnt the same one that i just had. Oh yeah, and the atmosphere is not great either. People doesnt know how to dress properly when coming to restaurants, I guess the staff doesnt concern either in enforcing a dress code, like people coming in tank tops and flip flops for instance, or filthy clothes, that just doesnt add up. It’s safe to say we are never coming back here to this location again.

Red Lobster gets such a bad rap, but I gotta say, it’s got a pretty special place in my stomach. ;) It’s one of my mom’s favorite places, so when we asked her to choose a restaurant to celebrate an early Mother’s Day at, well, here we are! First things first, let’s just say it: CHEDDARBAYBISCUITS. These are the bee’s knees and the cat’s pajamas all rolled up into one! Cheesy, buttery, salty, and neverending, we have to literally HIDE the basket after a while lest we eat nothing but 5,000 calories worth of biscuits. Mmmm. But back to the crux of this review — so RL is a chain, and when you’re dealing with a chain restaurant you probably know pretty much what you’re in for, food-wise. This location of RL is no different, and all the food was perfectly fine(huge portions as always, decent flavor, probably ten days’ worth of calories, hehe.) What really sets an experience apart is the service, and luckily our service from Kendall(I think that was his name?) was top-notch! From the never-ending biscuit refills to quick drink service and making recommendations for substitutions for my indecisive mama, he was great. The salads came out a little bit wrong but he didn’t hesitate to offer to fix it and was perfectly courteous throughout the whole meal. And then at the end, he brought out two extra bags of biscuits to take home at our request!(What can we say, we’re addicted. Pre-wedding diet schmiet.) Anyway, my trips to Red Lobster do tend to be few and far between but I’m sure this will most definitely not be the last!

I used to love red lobster, but both the food and service quality gets lower recent years. When I went there last night, it’s quite empty and no waiter shows up at front, so I wait a long time until someone shows up. With no smile no greetings, the guy simply just asked«how many» while looking at the screen all the time. The cold service continues. It took very long time for the waiter to show up with water, and he just disappeared with my check. The waiter cannot speak clear English and cannot hear us clearly. The food is just OK and very salty but I would give it 3 stars for food. This one has a serious service issue!

For New Years it was a real pleasure after going to dinners recently with restaurants having superior service perhaps we can questions everything. Realize its more rewarding with basics. Fantastic food with Ultimate seafood feast and several other wonderful rewarding dishes. The server Ashley was a pleasant to joy and is AAA service. Nice and pleasant.

Oh goodness, despite my love for the famous biscuits, I’m not sure we would return to this location. Arriving for an early lunch on a Saturday afternoon, with parking available in the front and empty tables everywhere, I would have expected better customer service… I was wrong. Although our server appeared to be quite courteous and anxious to take our order, it went downhill from there :(Getting a refill and requesting butter, forced me to get up and walk around the restaurant looking for her… when she disappeared, I had to ask the bartender for help. The biscuits seriously did not arrive until close to our meal, not sure what she meant by «they are still baking»… We ordered nice meals from the full menu, even though they had lunch options. But again, rarely saw the server for any additional refills, etc… For me, it’s about the service. The place was empty, and staff was plentiful, but obvious, they had other things to attend to besides paying customers.

Not sure why the ratings are so low. Maybe expectations are too high but its your average Red Lobster. I have nothing to complain about. there was no wait for 2 on a Saturday night around peak dinner time. Our waiter was attentive, welcoming, and professional. Our food came out pretty quickly and as ordered. Would return again~

Red Lobster in Fairfax. I wanted you to be awesome so badly. For starters, you were across the parking lot of the hotel I was staying in so I could have low-crawled back if need be, after the long day at work I had and requisite bourbons I’d consume. Secondly, my new bro Tony Angel, sent me pics of the cheddar biscuits and said this was reason enough to break my «no nationwide chain restaurant» policy.(They are as good as he said)! Lastly, you have an «endless shrimp» deal for $ 16.99. This made me laugh, and think, «that’s cute. Ya’ll better have stocked-up on shrimp like if Bubba & Forrest gonna eat there tonight. You’re losing mullah on me.» Alas, I was kidding myself. No, my expectations were not unreasonably too high. I knew I would not get fresh, super-large shrimp the size of a baby’s forearm, as can be had oddly enough at the Alliance, OH Country Club where my former employer would take us. I simply expected the shrimp to be close to the size of the TV commercial that lured me in, while I was in my hotel room on Unilocal, looking for a local«mom & pop“eatery with raving reviews. (Insert cordial bow to your marketing dept). I tried all the variations and the shrimp scampi was a favorite, followed closely by the Thai shrimp.(Who doesn’t love Sriracha-laden anything?) The first batch was surprisingly acceptable. Not earth-shattering. Not phenomenal. Just ok. Then every subsequent shrimp plate that followed was progressively worse. Big consistency issues. We all know the speed in which shrimp cooks,(literally seconds per side). Is it too much to ask that you do not pre-make my garlic shrimp and allow it to overcook and congeal to each other, under the wrath of a kitchen salamander/broiler? I’m ok with the garlic coming from a jar, so why is the dish pre-making necessary when on what appeared to be a REALLY slow weeknight,(I was 1 of 4 patrons), you could have freshly fired these 8 small shrimps per portion within a minute?

Sooo… I was so annoyed I wasn’t even going to leave a review because I didn’t want it to be emotionally charged and therefore bias toward this location. But its been ten days and after speaking with another fellow family member who was not privy to my experience, I felt I needed to share and also be very honest about why I will never ever be stepping foot into this location again. In fact, if I hadn’t had two very recent experiences with other locations in the past month, I would probably say Red Lobster was dead to me altogether as a chain just off of this experience alone. Grab a cup of tea… this is going to take a while… It was Sunday, September 14th. We were all too excited to celebrate my Nana’s 70th birthday with 4 generations of our family gathering to celebrate our family matriarch! In fact, this was the first time we would have all ten of the great grandbabies in one place including the two newest additions born in the past few months. We had so many surprises planned for my Nana on this day and I initially had her thinking it was just me and her going to lunch. Needless to say, when we all surprised her at church earlier that morning and then she showed up to Red Lobster, one of her favorite places, just to find 30 of her family and friends waiting for her, the look on her face was priceless. We walked in and instead of receiving a warm greeting that a group of our size who will be spending a crap load of money in an establishment should expect to receive, I was told by several members of my party that we had a 30 minute plus wait… WHAT?! I called and personally spoke to the Manager first thing this morning at 10:55AM before the restaurant was even opened. I explained to her that my group would be showing up at promptly 2:15PM right after church service and I happily offered my personal credit card to secure the reservation. From attending a Unilocal Elite event at this establishment last summer I knew for a fact that they are not busy. So there was no excuse for this drama. The«lovely» manager informed me that she was the one who spoke with me & she told me that it was«call ahead»…Umm lady, I did just that… I called ahead of storming your establishment with 40 of my loved ones. So she kept giving me excuses about how long the wait was going to be… I simply repeated myself 4x…“How long is the wait?”…“How long is the wait?”…” .The.Wait?”…About 20 minutes later, we were seated in some sort of a makeshift area. It was a combo of five tables in the dining room while we watched an entire dining room area right behind it sit empty which would have allowed us all to sit together. But OK, we will make it work. Here is where is really started to hit the proverbial fan… 1) I had 10 kids under the age of 10 in my party… why in the heck did the waitress only take drink orders for half of the table and not think it was going to be an issue when she came back with only three cups of juice for 10 thirsty kids? 2) I had to personally walk up to the Manager after being seated for 23 minutes(yes, I timed her) without so much as a single waitress coming over to acknowledge our presence and let us know that our lovely biscuits were on their way. 3) NOTONCE did said Manager come over and ask our party how we were doing… not once in our two plus hour dining visit. Seriously, there are a total of 5 other parties here… what the heck have you been doing the whole time we were here? 4) It took over TWO hours for us to dine… now, I am all for a casual dining experience but this was RL… you got about 5 choices… get the food out here and let’s go! 5) Dangit, if RL can’t figure out how to order inventory so that they don’t run out of apple juice! UGH! This was our second visit in a month where there was no aj… OK, you come explain that to these little ones! 6) Mean Manager Lady, you knew we were here for a birthday celebration. Yet you couldn’t even acknowledge my Nana nor comp a single app, etc. It’s not that we expect anything for free… but you totally screwed up my reservation and tried to show your tail in front of my Nana. You should have at least acknowledged her presence. Because I guarantee you, any other establishment in the area would have loved to have us there at a dead time where they typically don’t have the chance to make over $ 1K on a non-football Sunday afternoon. BUT! What prompted me the most to write this review, was learning from my lil’ sis who arrived late to the party that as she was coming out of the restroom M.M.L. said to her that she was so happy«the noise» was gone… as in our party was noisy… sorry M.M.L. if you expected 10 toddlers and a huge party of 30 plus to sit super quietly like mutes in your lobby that seats eight comfortably while you tried to recover from screwing up my reservation in your empty restaurant. I see why it was empty… and I will take my noisy cash elsewhere next time I need to spend $ 800!

I’m writing this while still on a Lobsterfest high. After a 25 minute wait, we were seated and immediately greeted by our server, Alexiv. Alexiv was the best server I’ve had in YEARS. Our large tip doesn’t come close to repaying him for how great our experience was. The Bahama hurricane drink was the best cocktail I’ve ever had, though even after 2, I barely felt any buzz. Our free appetizer coupon was honored for a wonderful dish of 8 coconut shrimp and the yummy pineapple dip with a huge half-slice of fresh pineapple. For entrees, we got the ultimate feast and the lobster topped lobster. My fiancé was disappointed with the feast, so he gifted me the crab from it, which, while salty and difficult to crack, was pretty dang good. The mashed potatoes, green beans, and lobster were topped with a delicious butter sauce and totally satisfied our hankering for some awesome food. Thank you, Red Lobster, for an awesome evening of a million calories and more.

Don’t know why this place his very low reviews. When I went, the service was awesome and everything came out pretty quickly. Of course, Red Lobster’s bread is the best and our just came out bc they were so fresh! Got a little too full from the bread but my entrée was still good. I got the trio 3 for $ 15 or $ 16 deal(dont remember the specific deal) and the portions were nice and big and the quality of the food was great.
