Having ordered from this place several times, I can confidently offer the following pieces of advice. Their gluten-free pizza crust is quite good, but their pizzas are inconsistent. Several times I received a burned crust, and a couple times it was the wrong toppings. Also, they use the same pizza cutter on the regular pizzas and on the gluten-free pizzas, so they do not seem to truly respect the needs of celiacs or the gluten-intolerant. My husband likes to order their ham and cheese hot hat which comes with fries. Most every time his fries are soggy and awful, but the sandwich is decent. Their delivery is ALWAYS delayed and on one occasion it took them 100 minutes to deliver us food — after they promised a 30-minute delivery. Ultimately, I think their downfall is the lack of consistency in their product, and poor customer service.

CLOSED!!! I like the Pizza, once again I see another reviewer I have discredited in the past.(perhaps you have no taste)… I have ordered 2 times so far and this place delivered in under the quoted time of 40 minutes. I order around dinner time in order to keep my figure in the terms of latitude versus longitude. The Pizza is great tasting. Much better than the previous pizza shops at the same location. The service when I call and order is fair. But the food is what I am calling for. This stuff tastes fresh, ingredient wise. Ill order until they screw up big time. Call them if you are within their delivery area.

As promised, I’m updating my review after giving the stromboli a second try. Having ordered it twice now, I can say with confidence that Straw Hat makes the Worst Stromboli Ever. This time, there was a small white blob near the edge that indicated the presence of cheese in my pepperoni stromboli, but all I had was that visual indicator. Going by taste and texture, I never would have known that there was any cheese at all. Just a mound of solid pepperoni inside a strange, cracker-like crust. I’m going to just go ahead and call it a cheeseless stromboli, because that’s exactly what it tasted like. I’m going to keep the three stars, because I do like the ravioli and broccoli cheese bits, but if I were judging them on the stromboli alone it would be one star.

Pretty good Pizza. The toppings were fresh and tasty. Like their choice in mozzarella; not as oily as some other places around the area. Not a huge fan of their crust. It’s not the chewy NY style, but rather crunchy bread-like. Prices were so-so, but it looked like they had some good lunch specials.

Solid four stars… Really good pizza that I ordered from them online today. The delivery time to my office was fast and the pizza was great. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger pizza and it was just what I expected. Well, to be honest it was better than I expected because this place was reasonably priced too. They have more than pizza as well so check out their menu. This came out to be a very good alternative to lunch that was a step above the big chains(i.e. papa johns, domino’s, pizza hut, etc.) and I would go for Straw Hat Pizza over those big chains any day of the week. Highly recommended!
