WORST customer service every time I go there! I’ve never left a review on it but I think its time now. I’ve been going there for years and its always bad customer service, no matter who is working. Just the other day I called in a simple order with 3 burgers. I had to repeatedly say each order because every time she repeated it back she would add tomatoes or something I didnt even say! I was amazed. And then I got there like within 10 mins and I walked in, no one greeted me or anything. She just rudely said «you called in a order?» I said yes, for 3 burgers. Then she rang me up, no smile or ANYTHING friendly. And she gave me my food. I check each one to make sure they were right. They were all right surprisingly. So I guess I’ll change my 1 star to 2 stars because they were good. But man I dread going back there. I might not go back because they were so rude. And there were other customers in there! I wonder if she was rude to everyone or just me!!!

We are from out of town and looked for a good place to eat. The food is excellent, not fancy but soooo good. Perfectly cooked simple burger with lots of chesse. Cash only. Food is fast and seating is limited. Big burger, thanks ladies great job

Okay Okay I’ve been living in Fairfield for how long? And I never been to this place until my sister brought me for some burger. And the cheese is as think as the burger bun. the mayo and mustard is amazing with it. love the food. shakes are great too

First time here today… Was pretty legit.
Just as the name says… giant hamburgers.
Got a double cheese burger and boy was it delish.
It go a little messy eating it but the messier the better!
Just a heads up though.
No bacon. no fries… and cash only.

Good. asic burger, prepared the way you request. I know people love the cooked onions on the grill. I would eat them if I vould, they smell and look so yum. But not for me. I don’t mind that they do not have fries, sometimes chips are perfect with a burger and fries can be hit or miss at many burger places. I like that this is old town Fairfield. Nothing fancy, just delicious.

I really wanted to eat here… pretty good reviews. BUT. after 3 hours on the highway, I only wanted two things… a good burger & a bathroom. Note the sign as you walk in.‘NO PUBLIC RESTROOMS”. Are you kidding me… I’m ready to drop $ 15+ on a good meal & you can’t open a restroom!?! Good thing I saw Monsoon Burgers right down the street…

Live right across the street, walk here with my two boys all the time (3 year old, 6 month old). Quick and easy. We used to eat there but the walk back was not as nice with a full tummy. We take everything to go including smoothies! E earthing is so delicious!

only reason I’m giving 4 stars is I wish I wish I wish they had fries! other than that, burgers are really delicious and cooked right in front of you. Plus they have Pepper Plant sauce which is my favorite!

Cash only, the burgers are large and on point, they taste amazing! The 2 gals at the counter were so kind and gave great care to there customers. Was a bit disappointed to learn that they don’t make fries, but no worries. My husband got a shake and together we also tried a piece of pie… once again, wow so good! It’s a small place and not much to look at from the outside, truly gives a local favorite vibe, and I wouldn’t change that for the world!
Over all… «great things come in small packages»

I got a chili burger with cheese, and I have never tasted a burger as good as this one! It has set the bar for all burgers I will ever taste. Not even exaggerating!
The shop has a retro look to it, has no public bathrooms, the inside is small and fairly clean, staff seemed ok, they cook meals in sight, and at the moment of this review, they only accept cash.

I go here often. Burgers are great and the milkshakes are too. It’s cash only but they have an ATM if you need it. They work hard and it’s delicious food.
Half these reviews are petty stuff. No bathroom no fries but you wrote nothing about the good burgers and gave it a 1 star.

Why would you even think about going here when Monsoon is right down the street? I was talked into this place the other day so, now a review.
Things to know:
— Cash only
— They don’t have fries
— Burgers aren’t GIANT, but they’re a good size
— No public restroom
Burgers are decent, nothing special. Definitely take advantage of their grilled onions, they’re sautéed nicely.
They have a nice variety of milkshakes, though I’ve only tried a few. I was excited to see they had blueberry, which is my absolute favorite, but it was a little disappointing. The first sip was great, but then it ended up just tasting like vanilla. They also have pie, which is kind of random. Haven’t tried it yet, but good to know it’s there. Overall, decent place but nothing super special.

I grew up on these awesome burgers. Cheeseburger, medium, with fried onions (one of the first to offer this delicious condiment in Solano County) and hot sauce with everything. This is the burger that all other burgers where and have been compared to.
Enjoyed since 1981 or so. Yes I am that old lol. When I was a young whipper snapper I could eat two of these. Sigh I miss the good olé days. We’d get the burgers and then immediately go to McDonald’s for two large fries to enjoy with.
Tonight I have to visit mom I think I am gonna get one for old time sakes. Sooo good. I remember they had a Vacaville location too way back when

First I wanna give 5 stars to the two young ladies that were working. They were courteous and attentive and this by no means takes away from their hard work.
Sadly, the hamburger was awful. One word says it all «gross». The meat tasted old — like when you leave hamburger in the fridge too long and then cook it. It has a distinct taste (OLD) and I would never intentionally eat it!!! Plus they don’t have fries? A burger with no fries is just weird! Needless to say, I will never return. Do yourself a favor and go to In and Out — it’s gourmet compared to this place.

I hate to compare this place to Bud’s Burger in Vallejo but it’s hard to ignore the parallels it draws with my favorite hometown burger joint. First off they make a mean burger, it was greasy, cheesy, and heavy in all the right ways and i almost regret ordering double patties but i wouldn’t have it any other way.
The only problem i have with Dave’s is their limited menu that doesn’t offer french fries! It’s hard to imagine eating eating burgers without the quintessential side of french fries, they offer potato chips but it’s a poor substitute for some good old fashioned hot and crispy fries.
Other than that their burgers are amazing, service was fast and the restaurant was very clean and litter free despite being next to a high school full of messy teenagers.
I will have to come back and try their milk shakes and of course for their burgers, and maybe I’ll bring fries from somewhere else for a classic burger experience.

We stopped for a quick snack after going to the Trading Post. We split a cheeseburger with grilled onions ($ 6.68). It was definitely worth the wait! The gooey cheese was delicious and the grilled onions were a perfect touch! Next time I’m headed back for my own burger!

If you only have cash and you don’t mind not being able to order French fries with a juicy quality burger, then Dave’s Giant Hamburgers is the place to go in Fairfield.
You can order your hamburger or cheeseburger with raw or grilled onions and it comes standard with shredded lettuce, ripe tomatoes, mustard and mayonnaise.
It was one of the better burgers that I’ve had and it was ok that they don’t have fries because they are big enough to fill you up on their own.
