Dragon 168

One of the best Chinese food I’ve ever had! Everything I have tried is good so far! I tend to be sensitive to Chinese food sometimes but this place does NOT make me sick. Wish they did delivery though parking kind of stinks!

Pros: Quick, cheap, & DELICIOUS!!! I work across the street and have only a half hour for lunch. I rarely have a chance to call Dragon 168 with more than 5 – 10 minutes notice. By the time I walk across the street and pay, my food is in my hands. I love this place. When I move to another location for my job I will be very sad to no longer have such a convenient and great food place to go to for lunch.
Cons: NONE!!!

Veggie fried rice and spring rolls are outstanding, and they are always super quick and friendly. I’m not crazy about some of their other veg options so I stick to my usuals and am always happy.

Gave it a try because of some good Unilocal reviews. Look, Chinese food in Connecticut is not good so why pretend? This is pretty good food and you can get half portions which you cannot at the two local Fairfield restaurants LC Chen and Lilac.
This is half the price. Had pork with snow peas and broccoli and shrimp and pan fried dumplings and home style tofu. Will try a few other dishes. Boneless pork ribs a must have! Great prices too.

Love the customer service! Great take out Chinese! I love their dumplings and well as the shrimp fried rice. Moving here from the city thought I was never going to find a good Chinese food spot, so glad we did and so close to home

Dragon 168 is a gem for Chinese take out. We have come here for years and the quality is very consistent. They have the best fried chicken wings, spring egg roll, shrimp and lobster sauce, … They use jumbo shrimp in their dishes which is very rare for Chinese take outs. The owners are very friendly. Their prices are very reasonable. The dishes we have tried are very good.

Food is always fresh, good, and served hot. Very fast, too. They have no delivery but their prices are the best around so I don’t mind the quick trip for take-​out. Recommend.

Best takeout for Chinese in Fairfield! This is what real Chinese food tastes like! Great flavor and great prices! I’ll definitely be back :)

My favorite local Chinese take out place. The owner is very neighborhood friendly and treats his customers amazing! I love the fact that I’ve been coming here long enough to see his kids start to grow up and nothing about the quality/​service has change in that time.

Good, quick take out. Asked them not to use soy sauce in my dishes bc I’m gluten free & it was still very good.

This place Sucks! They are rude, the place is dirty, and they never get my order right. If you like Beef fried rice, this is NOT your place!

Best take out place in the Stratfield section. Fast service even on busy Friday and Saturday nights. The owners and staff are very friendly as well. We have always been pleased with any selection we chose and the menu is standard for most Chinese places.

I don’t know why everyone loves this place. I have been dying for a good Chinese place. I’ve tried this take out quite a few times and I find it like most other chinese take out… too sweet, too gelatinous and too quickly prepared. None of the food tastes like it was cooked in a searing wok. The chicken and broccoli we got was surely precooked… probably steamed… and then it was just topped with a sauce. The veggies in garlic sauce was a combo of vinegary and sweet. Veggie lo mein and fried rice were tasteless. Too bad because the owner seems so nice. My hunt continues…

This little place cranks out some very good to excellent Chinese Food. Hard working Family operation that you have to appreciate. Take-​out only.

Ahhh, my dear Dragon 168. How often you are forgotten because you are tucked away, but fear not, because you are always in my heart.
Just so you know, I am generally weary about trying yet another Chinese take-​out place. Many have been sub-​par if not downright awful. The first time I came here was by accident or maybe by fate. My coworker told me about a Dragon 168 in another town (which btw, I found, and was NOT too please with at all), but good thing the Take-​Out Food Gods nudged me into this one first.
This place is small, no seating except for the two chairs in the corner, for those awaiting their orders. Although, on my first visit, the owner did put out a little fold-​able table next to the two chairs for me and my bf. He was very nice and pleasant. Since then, I’ve ordered many a times for take-​out. There are lots of yum-​things on the menu. My favorites are sweet & sour pork, sesame chicken, mixed-​vegetables with tofu and their fried rice. Be forewarned, the fried rice ain’t fancy, but it’s tasty. I never worry about the quality because it’s always been fresh.
Give this place a try for lunch if you’ve never been. They have really good specials!

As a Californian, it’s very impossible to find good egg rolls. Even in the east, it’s hard to find good ones. While other dishes were merely satisfactory, the egg rolls were very good.
Also worth noting: good prices.

Dragon 168 is a small but busy Chinese restaurant in a nice location. If you’re in Fairfield, you can’t be more then a few minutes away from this place, which is a good thing since they don’t deliver and don’t have any space for eating in; this is a take-​out only location. Orders can be called in or placed in-​person, although I recommend you call it in and give it a good half hour. Menu is pretty extensive and most items are rather tasty, though not the best I’ve ever had. Restaurant is family owned (so I’m told) and everyone is quite pleasant.
Marked down one star for difficult parking (lot is small and awkward) and lack of delivery or dine-​in options.

This place is quick, consistent, and friendly. I think their Lo Mein and Fried Rice are the best out of all the Chinese in this area. The menu is huge and they do a ton of business, which must mean they’re doing something right. They’re also open a lot later than most places in Fairfield.
