I found out about Love Healing studios via Groupon and decided to purchase the massage for $ 35. My experience was mixed as there were good and bad parts. Starting with the good, my massage therapist, Lynn was kind, knowledgeable and had a relaxing aura. The massage was a bit different than a traditional massage as she works in segments of your body. She did some cool techniques in the hips and buttock region which was quite relaxing but upon arrival, I did explain that my left shoulder and low back are my problem areas. They were mildly addressed. Friendly environment and dark massage rooms are a plus. Now for the bad, there location is difficult to find in the Fairfield sports plex. Also, customer service via texts was nice but I tried calling the number I was given and no one answered. Lastly, I had to pay an additional 10 bucks for«more pressure.» It’s not the money that was the issue I just found it odd. Also, upon leaving, I was given a business card for her personal business which left me in a difficult spot. I won’t be coming back. I guess you get what you pay for. 35 bucks for an okay massage.

Bought a groupon on May 2… First available appointment wasn’t until end of June. Their last appointment during the week is 3:30 pm. Not very accommodating. Location says in Westport, Norwalk, and Stamford… which I am not sure the Stamford location exists. Thankfully groupon was able to refund my money.

Very good massage from Denise– I had the Swedish. What I did not know when I purchase the Groupon was that the«studio» is actually individual rooms where contracted massage therapists do their massages. The room that Denise had was incredibly relaxing… Very zen. This was my first massage ever, and I think I would have preferred going to an actual studio, but I think that she definitely knew what she was doing, I just thought the way the appointment had been handled originally(over text messages, then getting cancelled) was unprofessional.

A massage is supposed to elevate stress and be a relaxing experience, correct? Will mine was not. I will not be going here anymore or referring anyone to this place. To even schedule an appointment was a process in itself. Poor costumer service. I go for massages about 3 – 4 times a year and let me tell you I have never had a massage like this one before. Thankfully I had a groupon special with a reduced price. The order and style of massage was completely out of the norm of a Swedish massage. She worked on my legs longer then any part of the body when I initially told her my upper back and shoulders carry the most stress and are tight. I don’t even think she used her hands are all during the massage, I felt her arms and wrists which didn’t work my muscles or knots at all. The environment in the studio wasn’t relaxing at all, usually there’s tranquil music playing and its quite… At this studio I heard drilling and construction work through out my entire massage and the lady was playing classical music which wasn’t very soothing. And on the way out she was soliciting her own private business which put me in a uncomfortable situation. Overall, it was a pretty bad experience. Stay away and save your money.

I bought a groupon for a massage at Love Healing. It was $ 39. When I went on the website I realized that this is an in-home business, which was fine. Then I noticed that they are running a special for a 1 hr massage at $ 65, still a deal. My appointment was for 12:30, which I got there 5 minutes early. There was a sign on the front of the house to go to the back, which I did. All doors were locked, when I knocked no one answered. Then I went around to the front where I was met by a young girl in sweat pants and a sweat shirt holding her lunch. She told me she would be massaging me and to follow her to the front door, not very professional if you ask me. She could not get in either. She text and made calls, knocked on the door as we stood outside for another 5 minutes. We went around back and were finally let in. When I got there I had to pay an additional $ 18 for«federal on-line tax». I’ve never heard of that before or had to pay it for any groupon I have purchased. The tip was not included either, typical. Needless to say the massage didn’t start until about 12:45. It was a home that had curtains up everywhere and was a little«shady». The only good thing about this experience was my massage after all, she did a good job. But after the $ 39, $ 18, and tip I should have just gone to a regular spa and gotten the ambiance as well.

I am a local massage therapist who moved back to the area about 6 months ago to set up my practice. Part of the«set up» required finding a massage therapist to take care of ME(can’t take care of my clients if I’m not taking care of myself). So when I found Adrianna, it was a huge relief! Her work is beautiful and very much attuned to her clients’ needs. Her touch is firm but gentle and her studio(in her house) is light-filled and calming(I’m a big fan of therapists who work from their home — overhead is minimal and when you’re your own boss it means you spend more time thinking about your clients and not what a supervisor might say). My first session was Thai massage. Amazing. She moves you slowly around a mat on the floor and when it’s over you feel like you’re floating on air. Second session was deep tissue — again, wonderful and she addressed all of the issues I presented to her. She offers regular discounts as well, so I’d take advantage of them if you can!
