Dang! I have had Romo’s burritos before and they are great. Today I had the Tuesday special, a Cuban sandwich, tons of food and it tasted great! Grilled pork and ham put together with cheese and a spicy mustard sauce. Highly recommended.

This is good food! I’m glad they finally got a couple restaurants instead of just the food truck. The ingredients are as authentic as the customers on this area will allow them to be. –1 star because the hours listed aren’t always the hours they are open and they do run out of things for the day kind of early, sometimes. The burritos are huge and everything tastes so fresh!

Seriously though… if you haven’t been to Romo’s, GO! It is probably the best value in downtown Fargo and the food is fantastic! The most impressive thing about the restaurant though is Romo himself. The man just has a passion for his business. He always greats you like you’ve been friends for years and is extremely eager for feedback. He consistently asks how your meal is and how he can improve his business. The location is a bit off the beaten path, but that’s kind of what makes it awesome. The basement of the Black building is a very unique setting with its fountain and fake trees, there is just something about it. The portions here are ridiculous, but don’t let that scare you away. Romo will make it exactly how you like it. I actually like to go with a spicy chicken«bowl» to go. Which allows me to have tons of the wonderful spicy chicken, all of the usual toppings and have the whole thing drenched in hot sauce or the spicy ranch(defeats the diet purpose, but worth every bite). Did I mention free chips and salsa? So, please help support Romo and keep this extremely awesome establishment alive and kicking for years to come!

Large burritos are very large. They also taste great. Spicy chicken and pork are the best. Very tasty salsa and chips provided as well. Limited hours, so get there for lunch(you will probably not need to eat again that day anyways)

There is no other Mexican restaurant better then Romos hands down. This guy can create recipes out of thin air and all of them I have tasted are great!!! If you want to try a Mexican restaurant that has something different you should defiantly come down to Romos. I just can’t stop eating there. =P

Impressed. That’s what I was when finally eating at Romo’s on Broadway. Located in the former Bertrosa’s location(lower level of the Black Building), I knew not to expect some aesthetically pleasing joint. While Romo’s keeps the environment(and the white board wall menu) simple, I can’t say the same for the food. Romo’s combines great flavor, quality food, sizable portions, fast service, an effort at presentation, and good prices. I look forward to trying other items. I’ve heard the large burrito described as «big as your head», and the tacos as the«best I’ve had aside from the street tacos in Mexico».

This place is excellent. Hands down the best burrito in town. I always order the large burrito and get it smothered(queso sauce and green chile sauce with sour cream on top). The burrito is larger than my head and the combo comes with a fountain drink and unlimited chips and salsa for $ 11. You had better be hungry and/or don’t plan on eating again for 12 to 18 hours.

This place has by far the best burritos in town. Get double the burrito for the same price as the other guys. All ingredients taste freshly prepared, and Romo himself is a great guy! The downtown location is found in the basement of the black building.

Hands down the best burrito in town. A great lunch addition to downtown Fargo. There’s certainly nothing fancy about the location, but wonderful food and service make up for it all.
