Attended this location for a wedding reception. The location was decorated nicely and easy to move around. It was a little confusing with multiple events occurring at the location. There is ample off-street parking. The food was about what you expect with a reception. There was a cocktail hour with hors d’oeuvres. There was a cheese plate, fruits, vegetables that were provided first. Then hot appetizers were delivered. It was confusing where to put empty glasses and plates. It was not intuitive. Most people left them on the tables with food, as one table was empty for the forth coming hot appetizers. We then shifted into a lofty room with a church like wooden arched ceiling. It was nice. There was a buffet offered for guests. There was several options of pasta and meat. The food I ate was cooked well. I had prime rib which was flavorful and nice and soft. I had a stuffed shell which was also cooked correctly. The coffee was a little weak for my tastes. There was a bar in the room for drinks if wanted. Wait staff could be slightly more attentive in removing dishes from tables.

I was here for a wedding last summer, and everything was okay. The best part about this place was the selection of hors d’oeuvres that were served for cocktail hour. I love a good cocktail hour, and Brookside’s was exceptional. The service from the staff was good, but the only thing that was lacking was the food. It wasn’t horrible, but it wasn’t that good.
