This place is delicious, service is «ok» at best. Perhaps this visit they were busier than anticipated and the one person taking care of tables just couldn’t keep up, he was running all over the place. We tried a number of things, but have to admit the wings are the best around. They aren’t traditional buffalo style, but they have great flavor and their spicy has a good amount of heat. In my book it’s a medium, but for everyone else it’s probably«Hot»! We also tried the sweet wings which were probably the best flavored wings I have ever had. Something about the sauce that is delicious. I was practically licking the paper after eating all the wings. Also tried the pot-stickers, which were good and I would probably order them again. Good flavor and value for what you get. The last thing we tried were there fries, very underwhelming and I don’t think they are worth ordering. Just frozen fries deep fried and the basket is five bucks. Maybe three and I would order them again, but only if that was all I wanted to eat. Which it won’t be, we are certainly going back just for the chicken!

How can you go wrong with KFC(Korean fried chicken)?? Its so much better than your typical Kentucky fried chicken and it always comes out juicy inside and crispy on the outside. The batter is a lot thinner than your usual which I like more. It can come out with different types of sauces, even fried gizzards are good when done properly. Also the spicy rice cakes with ramen is always a fav to get. They have a decent selection of beer, flavored soju(my fav) and different other drinking foods that’ll help soak up all the alcohol you drank. If only I can find a place like this in DT Seattle.

The place is great! This is my absolute favorite place to eat Korean Fried Chicken! When you are seated they give you a complimentary small bowl of popcorn and sometimes a sizzling plate containing a fried egg. The atmosphere is pretty great. Its a small restaurant that gives me a feeling of comfort, warmth and relaxation. I always go with friends/family. We order the regular and spicy chicken. It comes with pickled radishes and the cabbage salad. I also always order the kimchi soup with the beef. It can get pretty spicy so sometimes we ask them to not add the jalapeño.

It’s Korean bar food. I love their yang nyum chicken, the radishes, cabbage salad, popcorn, cheese corn, doo boo kimchi. It’s a late night Korean chicken and beer typa place. So don’t expect anything fancy. It’s me and my friends’ second home. Staff is friendly. Their happy hour menu is deals.

This is it, guys. I found THE chicken hof for WA state. The menu is surprisingly large. It has everything from your standard fried chicken to your spicy(yangnyum) chicken and their side dishes… Can we say AMAZING? They have EVERYTHING and it genuinely tastes like home! For 4 people, we orders 2 pitchers of yogurt soju, a super overly large sized pitcher of hite beer, a full chicken, corn cheese and had received fried eggs as service(that’s the Korean way of saying, FREE!). I can’t wait to come back and eat here. I’m about an hour away so it makes it hard. I just wish this place was open earlier!

Cockatoos is like a slice of South Korea –Gangnam Style! Located in Federal Way, it’s a bit out of the way, but I have(3) words for you: Korean Fried Chicken! When I first walked through the doors, I saw a prominent picture of Psy and everything that is quintessentially K-Pop displayed at Cockatoos. As my friend said, this place was LEGIT! Overall, the eats were okay, but I really enjoyed the vibe of the place. It seemed like a place where people would hang out on a Friday night in Seoul. Come for Happy Hour –You get the best deals during HH(5 – 8:30 pm daily), around $ 5 /dish. FOODORDER: –Stir fried chicken gizzards with sauteed onions: The gizzards were a little chewy, but it had good flavor. Goes great with beer! –Korean Fried Chicken(With Spicy Sauce): Crispy chicken with a light, red sauce. Pretty tasty! –Cold, spicy glass noodles with chicken hearts & veggies: Definitely filling. The hearts were a little too big and chewy. I would’ve liked it more if they sliced the heart in thin strips that were easier to eat. –Boiled squid: Eh, okay, but rubbery. This was probably my least favorite dish of the night. COMPLIMENTARY(FREEFOOD): –Small bowl of popcorn –Fried eggs on a sizzlin’ plate ALCOHOLORDER(Keep it comin’!): –Yogurt Soju: Like fruit juice, it was so delicious and easy to down! I could’ve ordered an extra pitcher for myself only. –Pitcher Hite Beer: Light and refreshing.

We came here because the hubby really wanted to try some Korean fried chicken. We came in and was surprised the restaurant was very dark, it felt more like a bar than a restaurant. There was only one server working that night, so we stood at the door patiently and waited for a while until the server noticed us. The restaurant was half full at the time. Their menu is not very big and we were happy to find we’re at the right place since they got fried chicken. We were very hungry and wanted to order right away, but it took the server 15 minutes to come back to take our order, understandably since he was the only one working but it was very annoying. We were surprised to find that it was happy hour, 5 – 8:30pm on Saturday night?! Awesome! After we ordered the server came back 15 mins later with our drinks, a bowl of popcorn and 2 paper plates(maybe they don’t like washing so much dishes?). What we ordered HH boiled squid — pretty good, would be even better if it was grilled HH stired fried gizzard — not bad, surprisingly not chewy HH french fried — good but pricey for what it is HH spicy sauce chicken wings — it was alright, decent for $ 5 HH sweet sauce chicken wings — same as the spicy one just different sauce Spicy seafood stew — the only item on the regular menu that we ordered and it was disappointing! seafood was meh, not worth the price they are charging. Would come back here to try their whole fried chicken, hopefully they would have more people working next time.

I ordered to-go and it was delicious. I just called in and asked for their most popular fried chicken so I’m not so sure what I got. But it was so good, haha. I got sauce on the side thinking it may be really spicy but it ended up being perfect. I’d recommend for sure.
