This is definitely on of my least favorite Chinese places I’ve ever been to. Both almond chicken and sweet and sour chicken has sauce completely soaked in making it mush. 17 dollars for small portions of mush no thank you

Best Mongolian Beef I’ve ever had. They delivered so fast. I’ve eaten the leftovers for 2 days now(and I am not a leftover kind of individual.) Also got the spicy crispy chicken, which was wonderful. Glad to have found this treasure!

Used to be the best place to get chinese. Now they have new owners, same menu but the food is different. So sad since ive been coming here for at least 10 years. Wont be coming back any more.

The Magic Wok has been my favorite Chinese Restaurant up until a few months ago. New owners and some new recipes. The Chicken Almond Ding now has just a few almonds scattered on the top. Some of the other menu items also have different recipes. I’m going to have to find a new favorite Chinese Restaurant.. very sad.

The Mongolian beef was not even beef it tasted like processed Bologna(disgusting) too sweet I got 4 stars too, the chicken fried rice isn’t even real chicken it is clearly not good this is Americanized Chinese food the spicy crispy chicken is smothered in this bright orange syrup I would never recommend this to my worst enemy maybe lower quality than McDonald’s. Three words for this place is you are considering ordering it. Diabetes. Diarrhea. Death.

This place is awesome. They’re pretty fast at take out. Overall the food is good. Almond fried chicken is spot on.

The food used to be the best around, now it’s owned and run by a younger couple. The food is not the same, it’s getting to where it used to be so ill give them some time. I will say the chicken in the rice and noodle dishes is much better than how the old owners used to cook it. Still recommend this place.

No more«magic» in Magic Wok. I had previously rated this a 5 star restaurant on account that their food was so good. Ambiance was never their thing. However I learned that the restaurant changed ownership just a few months ago and ever since the food has been very disappointing. Please bring back the old recipes!

I ordered delivery and I had to say about 5 times over the phone that I wanted egg drop soup. Then a couple minutes after the call ended they called me back and asked if I said egg drop soup or egg rolls. The food was okay. Just okay. There was a lot of it but they should maybe add a little less and include some rice, instead? All in all just an average Chinese food place.

I loved this place before. I would come from Seattle and get food from here. Now they are under new ownership and the food now some of the nastiest food I have ever eaten. The shrimp in my shrimp fried rice was old and spoiled. I had to spit out my leftovers and realized it was bad after coming home. My order was stupidly jacked up over onion, no onion in one and crazy amount in another. Simply all I want is «green onion instead of white» much more difficult that I think I guess. Spicy crispy shrimp wasn’t even crispy just soaked in the sauce with no breading :(. The chef was completely incompetent. Shrimp with lobster sauce tasted like cornstarch, water and egg. Freaking absolutely terrible. Service was poor. Wish I hadn’t left tip after leaving was just so used to leaving nice tip for the old folks. Even changed the fortune cookies to these cheaply wrapped knock offs and the fortune was terrible also. Mind you for some reason before the fortune cookies used to be awesome and feel right on target for you when you needed it lol. It is a shame they couldn’t transfer this restaurant to someone who actually cares. They even lied at first about being under new management by telling me the older nice people went on vacation. Must know what folks will think already. One very, very sad customer. RIP old Magic Wok where or where did that old chef go…

Food was excellent and at great prices. Service was spot-on, kind and without the constant disturbing quality so often in chain restaurants. Great place to eat.

Place is pretty ok. We ordered takeout the other night and got the crab wontons, beef and broccoli, and sesame chicken. Total came out close to $ 40… Not exactly cheap like some of the reviews on here implied. They give you good sized portions. The crab wontons tasted like they were from the freezer but the two entrees were yummy! I was inside for just a couple minutes grabbing the takeout and the inside looked depressing and like it needed a remodel pretty badly. Wouldn’t want to actually eat there!

What a great place down the road from me. I think I’ve found my new favorite Chinese take out. The quality of ingredients used, ready on time for a great price will have me coming back.

You think your getting amazing food for the outrageous price of Chinese food but your not. We ordered broccoli beef and curry chicken fried rice. I could have made better at home and I’m not an Asian food expert. Extremely overpriced for the crap we got. Super disappointed. Now we’re starving and 50 $ short. The broccoli beef was watery lacked zing. The curry fried rice was thrown together with steamed rice, not fried at all and over seasoned to death. The only good thing was the delivery time was less than an hour.

Used to eat at this restaurant all the time years ago and forgot about it until I read a review about their egg drop soup — so I bookmarked it. Have now been several times the last couple of months for lunch — best Chinese lunch special in town! The Egg drop soup is fantastic! The Mongolian beef & cashew chicken are delicious. You get a ton of food for under $ 10! Décor hasn’t changed(not good or bad) and service is fine.

Ordered 2 individual dinners and it was a perfect amount of food for 2 ppl. The food is good but could be a lil better for the price-maybe spicier General Tso’s chicken, Wonton soup is very blend like a previous post stated, 2 wontons in a salty broth. They quoted me 45 mins for delivery but it only took 20 mins. Will probably order again.

In my ongoing search for delivery food I ordered from here. I did pick up once and had the lover’s shrimp and I recall liking it. My husband and I ordered a cup of hot and sour and egg drop soup($ 1.95 each) House Egg Foo Young($ 12.95) Schezuan Garlic Beef($ 10.95) Crab Cheese Won Tons($ 5.95) and somehow that comes out to over $ 40? and the guy seemed offended by the $ 6.00 tip we gave him? ok, hope the food is good. It’s not! The Garlic beef tasted like something i make here at home all the time(soy, garlic, brown sugar, cornstarch). It was full of some vegetableand it took me 20 minutes to figure out it was celery! It was so mushy and completely devoid of any flavor I thought it was shredded bamboo shoots! Soups tasted like they were those packages of dry mix you get at Safeway. It is NOT Egg drop soup, it’s that regular thick snotty flavorless stuff! My husband DID love the House Egg Foo Young, but he’d never had it before so I’m going to try to find him some better quality somewhere else. CRAB? CRAB? REALLY?! don’t even, it was about a quarter of a teaspoon of cream cheese… not even seasoned! Now, I love me some Amercianized Chinese food, I’m not a purist or snob, but this is just low quality flavorless bright-red-sweet-and-sour-in-a-packet«food» I would like to echo«Kitty B.» go to GRANDPEKING, MUCH better food and EXCELLET service there.

Although prices are fair everytime I have been in this establishment the food is no where near fresh, Some of it taste fairly decent until You hit a rotten old veg. Which it seems like that is all They use, Mushy Smelly veggies every… single…time. Wish it did not taste so old dry and gross because with some of the sauces and what not I have tasted They could have real potential. Portions are ok but for the price of a couple dollars more You could go a couple blocks down to Grand Peking get twice as much and then some.

Absolutely not my favorite. We ordered four dishes to go. Mapo tofu — taste sour. Tasted like tobanjan is not cooked enough. Shrimp fried rice — this is the only descent food we had. Sweet and sour pork — pork tastes like very old and smelled. Same for pineapple. Shanghai noodle — never had this kind of noodle. Taste like paper. Very bad. All vegetables are very soft and mashy. Never again.
