Outback Trading

I love stopping at Outback! Each visit usually turns up at least one really interesting piece, and Clare is truly skilled at putting together a stylish outfit. I get compliments all the time on clothing I’ve bought here. Absolutely check it out!

I’ve lived in Felton a long time, but had never really shopped there. until today.
I met the owner, Clare, and she is a wonderful personality. Her selection of clothing is spot on with tons of vibrant colors and patterns. The pricing for such unique frocks is extremely reasonable.

We’re so lucky to drop in here after getting some tea at The White Raven next door. My husband actually poked his head in here first while I was nursing my youngest in the car. After I was done he had still not come out of the store so I went to go see what he must have found. I was welcomed by a smiling woman who was kind of expecting to see the youngest who quickly also smiled back. My 3 yo was preoccupied with the toys/​puzzles he found. The whole store had a great selection of goods from across the globe. Some of the merchandise where associated with charitable organizations. We ended up buying a book about the «Pink-​A-​Nose» clan — which our son has enjoyed «reading».

Claire is a great retailer, she always gets what I want and she has a great eye. If she knows I like a particular style, she makes sure to have that available and will order anything I like. She is very accommodating. On at least two occasions I have had big events to attend and decided I had nothing to wear. I just popped in at OutBack Trading and voila! I had a wonderful new outfit perfect for the occasion. Another time, I needed a birthday present and called Claire, by the time I got there she had several items ready for me to select from and Robin got a great present. Claire is one of the reasons I love living in a small town like Felton! I work over the hill and often get compliments on my clothes and asked where I get them, I always tell everyone to come to Outback Trading Company!

The lady that owns this store has a beautiful sense of style and wonderful eye for what works. She is able to quickly pull things out that I would never try, and I always look fantastic. I’m a dress girl, and have at least 10 from this shop alone in my Santa Barbara closet. Her prices are very reasonable, accessories delicate and classy, and I always leave wishing I could have bought more.
This is a true gem up in the SC mountains for those that want something other than Ugg boots, yoga pants, and fire department sweatshirts :)

This is my favorite store! I love the selection of clothes they carry, not to mention the great selection of Keen shoes and Goddess wear. I’ve bought jewelry, gifts, and baby clothes here too. Besides carrying merchandise I like to wear, Claire, the owner, is one of the most attentive and helpful people I have ever met in a store. You can expect excellent service and quality merchandise in this easy to get to store.
