Absolutely gross. I’m not sure what they serve but it can’t be food. This is not a locals favorite. It’s a tourist trap. That is all.

The view is nice if you don’t see that every day. I live here so I go out for the break in having to cook The happy hour screamed great food and great drinks. I guess that it depends on your taste of nectar and your appetite for good food. Drinks were mediocre but with a big price tag.

Why ruin great ingredients? So, fresh crab and ripe avacados? What could be wrong? Papa Grandes literally murders this dish wish some mayo-based grossness gobbed all throughout the crab until it’s like a soup and plops the ruined crab on top of beautiful avacados and then pours more of the thousand island like grossness on top. LITERALLY disgusting. Then, silly me, I ordered soft shell crab tacos, which were fired to oblivion in a thick grainy crust and yes, covered with the mayo grossness, plain shredded cabbage, pickled onions, and something else ruined by mayo. The chips were thick and gross. Nasty place. Gave it two tries. I’m done.

I dined at the Fenwick location and found it enjoyable. I like the atmosphere and the food was good! I had the blackened shrimp tacos and a spicy margarita. Service was fast for the middle of the week, it was busy… The large tv upstairs doesn’t seem to really fit, in my opinion but it being on the opposite side of the room from the bar and that size… makes sense I guess. I’ll be back for sure!

We called and the person who answered said«taco Tuesday» included beef, chicken, and pork. We got there to find out beef was in fact not included in taco Tuesday. So instead of being $ 2/taco, the ground beef tacos were 2 for $ 9. Now this wouldn’t be so terrible if the tacos were a regular size. They were smaller than the palm of your hand. Mini tacos the size you would get frozen from Costco. And to top it off, they were cold! Would not recommend! Stick with salted rim.

Good atmosphere the top floor has nice bar/tables with water views. Only reason I won’t give a 5 star is because the menu is pretty short not many main dish options. Had the shaved steak burrito which was great but all the food was fresh tasting and friendly staff

Food is mediocre, sauces taste like they were scraped from the bottom of the barrel, overwhelming the food. The side dish was cooked cabbage, but the restaurant gave it a weird name on the menu. Still, cooked cabbage with Mexican food is not a good combination. My Margarita, chips and dip was very good. My waitress was excellent.

Sat at the bar. Slow service and terrible food. We ordered all you can eat tacos but we could only get down 2. The next 2 were not edible, so we stopped there. The reason for the extra star is because the bar tender noticed we didn’t eat the tacos and comped them. If you are looking for drinks and salsa only AND in no hurry to get them, this may be your place.

Stopped in for lunch before parasailing. We were pleasantly surprise. We sat upstair and there was a great breeze coming in off of the water. The food was fresh and Delicious. Our favorite was the crab and avocado appetizer. Great service and reasonable prices.

Great atmosphere. Delicious reading menu that delivered. Cocktails were tasty, short rib and Korean beef tacos were delicious — though the tomato salad was a little bland. Definitely high on my BB list!

This was an impromptu comfort meal after learning about the decapitation of HitchBOT, the hitch-hiking robot. I was pleasantly surprised. I read some reviews complaining of cuisine that’s not«authentic Mexican.» I’ve touched on my issue with this criticism before. You know where I go for Mexican food? That’s right, Delaware. A bit pricey, si, but enjoyable enough. I got the soft-crab taco which, in addition to being a good amount of food, was arranged in such an elaborate manner that everyone within ten feet of the table felt compelled to peer onto my plate and ask about what it was. Normally when I’m eating crab, I pinch away pesky lookie-loos with one of the claws. I didn’t have that option with the soft shell so I requested the waitress bring me an extra fork for, as I so eloquently phrased it, «shankin’ anyone ’round me eats.» She politely declined.

Have driven by this place the last year or two and never stopped until last night. I am glad we did! We sat at the bar because it looked like a storm was rolling in; next time we will sit on the deck overlooking the bay. Started with the spicy mango margarita which was really strange yet awesome(I had two, yum!) Also ordered guacamole and on the advice of the bartender, street corn(corn on the cob rolled in cheese, crema, red chile, spices etc). Wow, I don’t even like corn on the cob but this was freaking awesome stuff. The guacamole was really good too. My husband never eats it anywhere(except mine at home) and he raved over this. Next I ordered the beef short rib tacos and he ordered the shrimp quesadilla. He wasn’t thrilled with his, but I really liked mine. The tacos are served in an authentic manner, meaning the meat is the star of the show and they are NOT topped with cheese, sour cream and all that stuff(you have to order a side of «gringo» lmao if you want that stuff which I did). Anyway, the tacos are served on corn tortillas which I hate but that is not their fault, just my personal preference. Anyway, I really liked this place and will go back. The bartender was very friendly too.

Came back this year and wasn’t disappointed. The blackened fish tacos are still great. This time I got the lime crush. Awesome!

Came across Papa Grandes during our visit to Ocean City. Best margarita I’ve ever had, and my quesadilla was delicious. My 3 friends were extremely pleased with their meals as well. Caitlyn(?) took good care of us… Great good, service, and drinks!

Good service, great food. Was looking for some place new to try that was hopefully not too crowded. Found it here! It is of the main strip, but only a very short distance. Well worth the drive even if it was further out. If you like Queso, they have one of the best white cheese dip. The meal was great and affordable. I will be back here.

Sit it the bar! The bartenders are fabulous! They make most of their specialty margaritas from scratch and they are delicious! There is usually happy hour daily with $ 2 tacos(2 choices typically). I’m a little lady and can put away 3 easily, my husband 5. Mexican street corn is amazing! Ceviche is another tasty treat! If you order a taco entrée I will advise that the cost is a little high for the 2 tacos. It will come with rice and beans but the serving is in a tiny bowl mixed together so if you don’t prefer one you may want to order it special. Skip the chips… salsa is great but on multiple occasions I have watched as the servers help themselves. A chip for them and a chip for your basket. No gloves, no scooper-just handfuls. There isn’t a hand washing station so they literally bus tables and then stick their hand into the chips to fill your basket. It’s my only warning about this place.

Great location but that’s all! I have only been here once but was not a great experience. Maybe because it was off season but zero ambience as we were almost the only 2 people in the place! There was one other sat at the bar. Very small portions. Food was extremely average and not authentic mexican. Too bland for our tastes.

I had a margarita after parasailing here once before but didn’t actually eat anything other than chips and salsa. I was in fenwick and craving Mexican food so I decided to stop by. The pomegranate margarita I had was delicious. Packed a punch and was sweet but not too sweet. The chips were just OK but the salsa was quite flavorful. I saw they had rare tuna tacos advertised on their website and was looking forward to trying them. When I got there they weren’t on the menu so that was kind of annoying. I ordered the lobster and corn quesadillas. These were great: the cheese complimented everything nicely, rather than overpowering it. There were nice claw/knuckle pieces of lobster mixed with corn and peppers. The honey chipotle sauce they served with it was phenomenal. I was also surprised with how generous the portions were. I ate at the bar and everything was fine service wise. I did feel bad for the bartender because while I was there the margarita machine exploded and got margaritas all over the bar floor. Oh well. I’ll be back for sure! Leaps and bounds above that other Mexican place in North OC.
