Main Street Motel

This is a nice unique place to stay. There location is great — walking distance to area restaurants and Sunset Beach, but out of the high traffic area. The wifi picks up great even out in the planning lot. The wrap around deck is a nice way to enjoy the evening. The place was very quiet and we didn’t hear anyone else while we were in our room. The beds were decent, but not the most comfortable — some new pillows wouldn’t hurt. The thing I couldn’t adjust to was the super soft water. I felt like I was covered in a film after taking a shower and each time I washed my hands I felt like I was covered in dish soap. With a few minor improvements and less soft water this place would easily earn 5 stars.

A perfect place for our quick trip through Door County. Nedra was helpful and accommodating as we didn’t have a reservation (luck for us someone left a day early). The location was ideal for wondering around the town. Only regret is we only had one night to spend here.

My favorite place to stay in Door County. Reasonably priced, nicely decorated, and clean! This place seems to attract quiet couples and groups. The owner is so sweet. I could not recommend this place more.

Couldn’t ask for a better location for Door Co.

This place is very clean and very affordable. We picked one of the smaller rooms to stay in. It just has a queen size bed, a bathroom and a small fridge. Nothing flashy. That’s ok because that was what we were looking for. This place is in the heart of Fish Creek, and it is in walking distance of all of the shops and restaurants. The owners are very friendly, and they apologized that the room is so small. We didn’t think it was small at all! It was very clean, quiet and the bed was comfy. Their rates are great (probably the best all year around). During off peak season and May their rates are really reasonable. We would definitely stay here again!

Our family has been staying here since the mid-​80s. It’s simply one of the best choices in the best town in Door County. The rooms are nicely decorated and the rates are extremely reasonable.

My boyfriend and I have stayed here twice, once in summer 2008 and again in October 2010, and really enjoyed both stays. It’s very pleasant, reasonably priced, friendly, and in a great location for exploring Door County. There aren’t a lot of frills, but it is adorable, very cozy and quiet, with comfy beds. You can walk to some great restaurants, and the gorgeous Peninsula State Park is just down the road. Highly recommended.
