Very cute place literally at the entrance of Peninsula State Park. The rooms are decent and the restaurant is wonderful. You are within walking distance (.50 miles) from the shoppes of Fish Creek as well as many other restaurants.
Bike rentals are behind Julies as well as right across the street. Free coffee or tea with your room key and the coffee is great. The staff was the nicest I encountered anywhere up here in Door County which says a lot because everyone up here is so pleasant.
Definitely recommend and would come back and stay here again.

If you want a sure thing– good food and excellent service– go to Julie’s. We’ve been to Julie’s at least eight times in the past year, and we’re never disappointed, especially for breakfast. Terrific omelettes and pancakes, incredible desserts (have the carrot cake!)… And their pricing is very inline with what you’ll find in DC. In does get busy but the staff is consistently friendly and attentive.

We stayed at the motel for 3 nights. The room was clean, but kind of oddly laid out. The pricing was decent and we would consider staying there again on future trips to Door County.
We ate dinner at the restaurant the first night and found the service to be very friendly. The restaurant is charming and looks out on the entry to Peninsula State Park. Can’t beat the scenery!
The food was decent, but a tad pricey. I had the pot roast special and Christopher had spaghetti and meatballs. They were filling, but not exciting. I had to add a lot of seasoning to my food. I would try their breakfast the next time, but think I would pass on the dinners.

We stayed in the motel for a few nights. The room was very clean, comfortable and had the major necessities. The motel is right at the entrance to Peninsula State Park, which is very convenient if you bring your bikes like we did. The room had just the right amount of space for the two of us. The café connected to the motel is very nice, we had breakfast there every morning. A nice perk for for the guests is free coffee. There is also reserved parking for guests. The pricing is very comparable to other motels in D.C. We do wish that there was a pool and or hot tub.

$ 10 to cancel our reservation 4 weeks in advance — completely BOGUS! The only reason we had to cancel was because my wife is scheduled to assist in a surgery and we couldn’t stay for their RIDICULOUS 3 night minimum.
I doubt I will evan try to stay there again.
