Great pizza! A must try if you are ever in door county!!! Great outdoor dinning, indoor dinning a little small. Very casual dinning.

Fantastic pizza, and a fantastic micro beer selection of over 35 beers, about a dozen on tap.

The best pizza ever in DC!!! We have had the Wild Pi and the FunGuy! The specialty today was a brat pizza with sauerkraut and yellow peppers! Sooo goood! My daughter loves the PBJ pizza and gets it every time we come! Its a must stop! Best time is early Afternoon. Not as busy. Has out door seating area and outdoor bar.

Great pizza prices, clever recipes, impossibly perfect inside/outside dining. Tight space but not embarrassing even for a full bodied gal like me. Sodas unique but a tiny bit high. However, the Family salad generosity made up for the soft drink cost. Great wood fire smell. Super casual and relaxed. Good music choice.

Really good find — high end pizza in the wilds of Door County. Such creative pies, including gluten free options! Salads were huge to share as well. This was a great experience for our first night visiting the area.

Wood fired Green Bay pizza amazing, caprese salad and bread basket outstanding, but the sangria was outrageous! Definitely worth a stop! Waited for outdoor table and so glad. Staff was friendly, prices high but tons of food!

The Wild Tomato is one of many Door County gems we visit every year. The El Fresco dining is a perfect way to enjoy the best wood fired pizza in town. I highly recommend starting off the meal with one of the appetizers or petite salads. The regular garden salad is a cut above standard house salads found at typical restaurants. There’s no shortage of quality greenery or crunchy toppings. The pizzas are just outstanding and the kitchen will make them to pretty much any specification. I am lactose intolerant, so it is great that the offer a wide variety of toppings and even vegan cheese! The crust is consistently perfect and piping hot from the wood fired oven. The menu also has great offerings for kids. Our 2 year old son devoured the Mac and cheese. The only downside is that there is often a wait and limited indoor seating when the weather is bad.

From now on if our dinner debates in Door County ever stumble upon the suggestion«How about Wild Tomato?» my response is going to automatically be, «Umm, yes please!» Debate over. You win. I can’t top that suggestion. Some of the best pizza we’ve had anywhere. If you have to hang out by the side bar while waiting for a table, totally worth it. Just grab some drinks and put in an appetizer order at the bar. I recommend the cheese curds. Non-vegetarians will like the vegetarian pizza. Yeah, it’s that good.

The cooks were killing it in the carry out building! They were cranking out 40+ pizzas an hour plus the main restaurant was doing the same. Pizza was really good, perfectly cooked with the seasoned browned crust and fresh toppings!

Amazing pizza, however the wait was over a hour and they ran out of two of the beers we wanted to try. Overall good experience

Pizzas here are really amazing. Had their fun guy & cheese pizza. Tried their hibiscus liqueur lemonade which was refreshing after a long day! Didn’t expect a 1HR plus wait for a table and a 30 mins plus wait for food after our order. They do have a take out section as well but the wait time for the food was 45 mins for us. So we decided to wait the same time for a table.

We love Chicago pizza, so we weren’t expecting much from a Door County pizza spot. Boy were we wrong! Wow, totally impressed! Gourmet pizza combinations, great beer selection, and really fresh salads. Highly recommend the Cherry Walnut salad and the Wild Pi pizza — super tasty. Like the other reviews, it does get busy and it’s worth the wait. Especially if you want to sit in there outdoor eating area. They have an outdoor walk up bar to order drinks while you wait, and a stone sitting area. Only tip, wear mosquito bug spray if you want to sit outside. Wisconsin mosquitoes are aggressive and annoying.

We had to sit outside because it was packed and it was cool outside but the patio heaters made it better. Our server was very nice and new her beers and the pizza was very good. Would come back.

a great spot for fantastic pizza. watch them spin the dough, use fresh ingredients and cook in a wood fires stove. service is fantastic and the atmosphere is casual and quaint. only reason I did not give it 5 stars is that it is small and can feel a bit cramped. if you don’t «beat the crowd» you will wait. it is worth the wait but, who wants to wait. I highly recommend it. the pizza is great.

This has to be the best pizza in Door County. Great selection with fresh ingredients. WOW it gets pretty crowded but worth the wait. Almost easier to call for carry out.

OK, I’ve been to Door County many times and only recently learned of this wonderful restaurant. We came around 5:30 and had an hour and a half wait. Ouch. It was much too cold to sit around, so we went shopping in fish Creek. The time went fast and when we check back in after 45 minutes, there were enough cancellations to get us in five minutes later. Sweet! The place is very small with little seating inside. If the weather were nicer you could take advantage of the ample seating outside. We were seated quickly and were greeted by a super friendly waitress. After learning this was her first time here, she took the time to explain all the options. There were so many wonderful pizza choices! We ordered a cheese pizza on half and artichoke and chicken(choke and chicken) on the other. I also added a petite cherry and walnut salad. Everything we had was ridiculously tasty and perfectly done. The restaurant feels contemporary and there’s a fascinating view of the cook hard at work. It was great fun to watch him toss the dough in the air. We will definitely come back here next time. It is of note, seating is very limited as is parking. In case you’re wondering, it is worth the wait.

What does one do when one’s partner is gluten avoidant and one(as in me) would like some pizza? You head to Wild Tomato. I order pizza. Partner orders a gluten free bread sandwich. We both enjoyed our meal greatly. Very friendly, during this late afternoon stop, the host having time to banter with us. We ate our meal on a cool Fall day, the outdoors not being an option although the patio area seemed like a good venue. The pizza arrived and it was delectable. The sausage one. Good crust. Wood-fire roasted. The ingredients were fresh and local(I believe local). My partner was happy to give her seal of approval and I am happy that there is now a pizza place that we can go to, knowing we’ll both enjoy ourselves. At the end of our meal, at the register was the famous Rice Krispie Treat(I don’t know if they call theirs that). Gluten free partner was happy to see this old-time snack and the brick was purchased(three dessert snacks over the vacation – also great!).

It was mine and my fiancé first time here and we LOVEDIT!!! I can’t even express how good the food is here! The spinach and artichoke dip. Was hands down the best we have ever had! Great pizza too! Only downfall is that the restaurant needs to be bigger! You are right on the person next to you, that was awkward. Otherwise I can’t wait to go back!
