Enterprise Rent-A-Car

They picked me up and were a bit late.
Other than that they had a full size SUV last minute which I needed.
The staff was also professional and friendly.
I will add to this when I return the car and let you know how it goes.

My wife and I have been customers of this office for several years. We have been very happy with the service we have received. The cars are always clean and ready to go. The location is convenient for us and we are in and out pretty quickly. No complaints.

Enterpise in Folsom really came through for me. I had a nighmare experience with Hertz in Folsom. The car broke down at night 2 miles from where I rented it. I had wanted to leave for Denver at 5 AM. Instead I had to get home and make a reservation on the web site for Enterprise in Folsom. They open at 7:30, I was there when they opened, they did the paperwork real fast. They then walked around the Nissan rental with me, checking for damage, which is something Hertz didn’t do. I left the parking lot by 7:45, the car was clean, worked great. It even had XM radio account, (the Hertz car had a Sirius radio but no account). The Sirius radio was a lifesaver going across US 50 on my way to Denver.
I will probably make this trip at least once a year to Denver and will use Enterpise in Folsom for all my future rental needs.

I always rent at enterprise iron point rd suite 200 in Folsom, the people that work there are always helpful and so very courteous. especially asst mg Alex van such a nice person and trainee valmik Karam too, the service is very fast I recommend best place to rent car here. I have always gotten the best care when am renting here.

Excellent customer service. They picked me up and dropped me off beyond their normal distance. They gave me a free upgrade to a larger car. They were friendly and enthusiastic. I will definitely visit this branch again.

Great experience with the staff as they treated me like an honored guest instead of a customer. I had an issue with the car and made recommendations for corrections and the branch took good care of me after I returned the car as they wanted to insure optimum satisfaction.

Mixed reviews for Enterprise. Had to wait at least 30 minutes past my pickup time since the office was slammed. Understandable, and I was cool with it since I wasn’t rushed. Got my paperwork, was hassled about adding extra insurance even when I kept refusing. No means no, folks! Picked up a screw in my tire in LA, no problem says Enterprise, just take it in and exchange it for a different car. I was in and out of the Enterprise in LA in under 15 minutes. Customer service was helpful and told me they would write a note in my file for this office to give me a discount since I had just filled up the tank when the tire picked up the screw. Drove back in a crappy car, 3 hubcaps fell off during the drive (how does that even happen???) Finally returned the exchanged rental. The rude woman at Enterprise told me that they wouldn’t give me a discount for the full tank of gas since there was no way for her to verify it was actually full. After which she proceeded to tell me according to the paper, I returned this vehicle slightly under where it was supposed to be and would be charged for it. So you can only verify when it suits your purposes and you can get more money out of me? Got it. She then told me with PLENTY of attitude that I «should be grateful they weren’t charging me for the tire», an exact quote. And that was when I shrugged my shoulders, paid whatever she charged me so I could leave without any more hassle, and decided to go elsewhere in the future.

I’ve always had a good experience with this and other locations but this time my husband rented a car and they put it under my name. That’s fine but not really professional. Also, the car smelled of cigarette smoke so I wouldn’t ride in it. He probably didn’t request a non-​smoking car but shouldn’t the staff ask that question?

I’ve rented quite a few times from the Folsom location. This past time the car smelled of cigarette smoke. Outside of this, which may have been my fault since I didn’t request a non-​smoking car, I haven’t had an issue.

The car we rented for our trip to Los Angeles was filthy upon pickup. Dirty (as in DIRT-​smeared) seats, dirty inside door panels, dirty floor mats, sticky mystery-​residue in the arm rest recesses, and full-​on POTATO CHIPS along the seat. Classy. That’s true professionalism, guys! We were also told «the gas is sorta a little below half a tank, kinda. so just bring it back exactly like that and you’ll be fine.» Right. We’ll just leapfrog it from gas station to gas station back from LA in order to make sure it’s «precisely» on the «kinda sorta» make-​believe mark they told us it was on when we got it. How about STOP BEING LAZY, CLEAN YOUR CARS, and provide me with a full tank of GAS. I’ll return it the same. AMAZING isn’t it, how SIMPLE that would be? What a joke. Didn’t get reimbursed whatsoever for the extra gas we still overshot, (and the individual behind the counter seemed as disconnected/​uninterested as the one during our first encounter.) Perhaps we should have burned off that extra gas by driving to the farthest McDonald’s to get french fries to scatter throughout the car before dropping it off. You better bet we left every last nasty bug splat on that car, all 50,000 of them, after the way we’d gotten it. Anywhere else (deserving), and we would have run it through a wash first. We honestly hoped it would FORCE them to CLEAN IT for the next renter this time. Ugh. Definitely NOT using these guys for our upcoming trips!
Want a car that’s been checked and cleaned since the last time it went out? Want to pick up a car with a conveniently full tank of gas? Don’t want to be taken advantage of?.. Then you’ll certainly want to rent somewhere ELSE! :)

My issue is not with people, they were 5 star great.
But to call a Chrysler a good rental car?
We upgraded and paid more since I am 6’1″ and still I could not get in the driver’s side.
Hey, what about offering a car that is made for a tall person to at least fit, that is reasonably priced? They are available for sale by many auto manufacturers, and are not ‘full-​sized’.
The Chrysler from years ago is no more. And unless you wallow in bucks, adequately roomed cars for 6 footers are rare in the rental offerings.
It seems car rental companies discriminate against American people reasonably taller than average, getting more rental monies because of height, not car features. Hey, 6′ isn’t that rare.
Customer focus seems lax in this respect. Get focused and see rental sales increase.

At least the people I interacted with was very rude.

I have rented from this location many times and have no disappointments.
Staff is pretty cool and the prices are good.
They dont try to up-​sell insurance.
Recently i had to rent cars and also had to swap a minivan over the weekend.
Kristin is the person i dealt with, she is very friendly and knows her stuff.
Kudos to her!

Have always had great time dealing with this location for my car rental needs and this time was not disappointed. I call them first every time

Have been with Enterprise for 5 years STRAIGHT and this branch especially is NOT about customer service. The manager Jared is so rude & unprofessional. Do not waste your time at this branch got to the one up the street at the dealership. Was asked to bring in the car and switch out due to a «recall» then he wouldn’t give me another car. Asked if we could use Enterprise Plus points and still got told no. Went to a different branch then next day and got a car on Plus points. Again this branch is NOT about customer service… Isn’t that what Enterprise says they are all about?! Next 3 months later I tried to use my points which I have racked up. The district manager Nick put me on a do not rent list. Never received a call back from August and then get a surprise to be on the DNR list. Claiming «contracts» were not up to date with myself and the manager. How is that MY fault? If I was in a DNR was I still able to use my points? This manager & district manager are just vindictive & childish. Sad. No wonder so many wonderful people have quit including the awesome district manager Julie! Bring them back! Again do NOT waste your time here. Enjoy

When my husband arrived, all the rental agent could focus on was the fact we were picking the car up in Folsom and dropping off in Roseville. That never happens. When I had originally called on the phone, per the Roseville locations instructions, the same agent modified my reservations for this pick up and did not make the reservations right so I was over charged. He was very rude on the phone and after completing the change, which he claimed he could not due — he just rudely hung up on me. We did not discover the overcharge until we returned the vehicle. When I contacted Enterprise directly about the overcharge — they said I would receive a call back. I did not and had to call again after a week and a half. She did not seem to care and said it was the local manager’s and supervisor’s jobs to address the lack of customer service and overcharge issue and not headquarters. I was told a second request for a call was put out. I am going to have to put the overcharge in as a dispute on my credit card and won’t be using this company again.

I was very happy when I called them the morning of my rental and told them I wanted to get on the road early so they sent their car over to pick me up an hour early and were quick to get me on the road once I arrived at the office. The only reason why I did not give them 5 stars is that the previous time I rented from them their driver was quite late in picking me up. If your time is critical, I suggest you make that clear to them if you need their free shuttle service.

I had to get a rental while my car was at the body-​shop.
First I was helped by Natalie who has a excellent costumer service, and is very eloquent when she explains the policies of Enterprise. When I returned the car Derek also provided a good costumer service and explained me about the reimbursement of the deposit I had made at the beginning. It was a nice experience. Thanks.

Had a bad experience in Shingle Springs so I came down here and the staff was great. They had a car that worked perfect for us. My friend had an out of the country drivers license and the Asian guy helping us was real cool and verified it with his book but he was real cool about everything.
