I’ll admit it, I’m bias to the berry. But juice it up has more than just the Brazilian super fruit açaí. Unlike most chain smoothie joints, they offer raw squeezed juice. Fresh juice is the ultimate option for anyone who craves fresh fruits without the added sugars found in most fruit smoothies. But I’m a sugar freak! No I’m not… Well I love the exotic fruit bowls and smoothies they offer. Açaí here tastes great and the bowl let’s me dream like I’m in Brazil again… Dang… this is awesome. Whatever Juice it up is a great alternative to any Jamba lifer. I personally think they attempt to create more juice blends that are beneficial for your body and mind.

Very good smoothies, pretty good service worth trying it but the service is ok like I said before one time they Los t my order and a sat there two whole hours I don’t know what I was thinking waiting for that long but it went there a second time and it was really good and they did give us ten free smoothies because the smoothie maker was very kind. But over great place to grab a refreshing and energy filled treat. P. s. This place is better than jamba juice

I only like mistakes when they benefit me. As in, when I went to this place and they made me a medium juice when I ordered their small«Immunized Juice.» Kale, spinach, and healthy something-something. Better still, the check-in feature on Unilocal let me have a free wheatgrass shot. Hell yeah, score!

Great raw Juice Bar also serving delicious smoothies! I absolutely love all of their green juice blends(especially the Immunizer when I’m feeling sick) and their smoothies are fabulous. The raw juice is a little pricey, but it’s to be expected… smoothie prices are about the same as Jamba Juice but I think they have a better selection here and its easier to custom-blend the flavors you want. They also have acai bowls which I hear are great, and other snacks like warm, soft pretzels and other carby goods. Everyone at the location is so friendly and I love coming here! Just like Jamba Juice, the calorie counts are listed next to every item/size which is great for us watching our nutrient intake. Love Juice It Up!

Great service. It can get a little busy at times because the process is intensive but everyone works to make the experience great. I’m going through the custom juice blends. So far: Detoxifier: grapes, lemon, cucumber, parsley, spinach, ginger is way tasty. Like a drinkable salad with lemon on top. I recommend getting them with ice. They give you the same amount of juice but put it in a bigger cup. So worth it to have them make it because the making and clean up is a lot of work. Love the pineapple punch for a sweeter, sorta healthy-ish snack. Like the jamba, first boost is free. There are great meal options called Brazilian bowls that have fresh fruit, fruit smoosh, granola and honey. There’s also soup and carb rich snacks.

I love raw juice bars. The new Juice It Up is next to the Raley’s up Blue Ravine, and I hope most people won’t assume it’s just another Jamba Juice, because it’s just not the same. Unfortunately, the price point is very similar — about $ 4 – 5 for a 12 — 20 oz. cup. Juice It Up also has smoothies, but they specialize in making raw juices right in front of you. They stuff spinach, kale, ginger, and other goodies in the juicer to produce a cup of pure goodness. Now, for those who are wondering, doesn’t the juicing remove all the fiber and nutrition from the vegetables? Well, as part of a complete diet that does include lots of fresh veggies, raw juice can be really helpful to get more servings of vegetables(since most people are sorely lacking) in its raw form, preserving many enzymes and delivering it to the body in an easily digestible form. I don’t advocate any extreme diets, so please be careful with any extended raw juice binges as a way to lose weight. You will most definitely lose weight, but you will gain it all back once you introduce whole foods again. I advocate raw juice as part of controlled cleanses and part of any healthy diet. *Don’t be surprised if you feel lightheaded or strange after your first raw juice. My mom and sister felt this after they tried the juices I brought home, and I just assured them that this is a good sign that their body is responding, detoxing, and accepting the goodness. It’s tempting to ask for extra apple or grapes, but try to limit the sugar, as these juices often contain a lot of(natural) sugar. First time? My personal tip would be to refrain from trying a green juice with celery. I think celery tastes gross, and I vastly prefer highly nutritious kale and spinach. Wheatgrass is great, too, as a shot. I bought the $ 10 Groupon for 4 juices to share my love of raw juice with my family in Folsom, I redeemed all 4 juices last weekend. I had to wait about 10 minutes, but I didn’t mind. They were all delicious. My family loved the Awakener, Rejuvenator, and I loved the Immunizer(though it was the veggiest and had celery).
