Was pretty excited to try such a highly reviewed Peet’s, but wasn’t that impressed. Pros: Lots of seating both indoors and out and laid back establishment. Cons: outdoor seating is loud because it’s next to a busy street & the latte I ordered had an unpleasant acrid aftertaste (possibly a one time thing looking at the other review?). Overall found it to be an average Peet’s.

I love Peet’s Coffee. I’ve been going to this location since it opened, and have always had a friendly, pleasant experience. Today, there was no one in line when I entered, and a young blonde lady took my order for coffee beans and a small latte — she was also the only barista at the time. As she was helping me, several more customers arrived in line behind me, and a man immediately stepped in and took over the register. He was not pleasant — he began ‘hurrying me along’, and became patronizing; I felt embarrassed and moved away from the counter. When he realized he had not collected my $ 34.90 — he called me over to the counter, and said: «You almost got away without paying.» Again, very embarrassing. He didn’t give me a receipt, and when I asked for it, he hesitated like it was an imposition. I learned later, that this man’s name is Michael Z., and he’s «one of the Managers» here at the Bidwell location.

I haven’t been to Peet’s in a long time. We have this tradition of going to coffee shop on a special day annually. So this year we picked this location of Peet’s. The guy behind the counter was extremely friendly. I got a 1 $ off deal on Milk Chocolate Almond Mocha with Unilocal checkin. Since they were out of Milk Chocolates, he said he will honor the deal with any Mocha. So we got a regular Mocha.
We also got a Chocolate and Caramel Swirl, which is basically cold coffee with chocolate and Caramel toppings. This one was amazing — one of the best cold coffees I’ve ever had in my life! Banana Nut Bread and Apple Pastry were standard.
Although I have been to couple of Peet’s locations before, I don’t remember them being this good. I have to start going to Peet’s more often — till now Starbucks was our go-​to coffee place. Overall, I am glad we chose this place for our special day.

They gave me a 6 Oz sample of ground coffee to try. How thoughtful! Really like the people at this peets, just nice. A good place to be so early in the morning.

Very friendly efficient service. I called in an order for coffee lugs with about a 15 minute heads up, by the time I arrived it was ready to go, cups, creamers, lids and sweetener. Nice job guys!

I usually like this location, but tonight was different. I rushed to the store to make it before closing and got there at 7:59 p.m., but the door was locked. I waved to the barista, but he just signaled they were closed. Tried to get their attention and signal that I only need one pound of coffee beans, but they still said no, however wasn’t sure if they understood. They didn’t even attempt to open the door and politely say no. Note that I also tried to call the store before getting there, but they did not pick up the phone as well. I probably will not visit this location for a long while and just go to the El Dorado Hills location, which always have excellent customer service.

This is my haven in Folsom for coffee, tea, meeting an old friend, and getting work done.
I’m just now getting into drinking tea, so I can’t speak for much beyond their great selection. Their coffee hits the spot. Nearly every roast I’ve had is better than the stuff at most other coffee joints in Folsom.
The service here is probably the best I’ve had at any coffee shop. Actually, it’s probably on par with Philz Coffee in Berkeley, for those who’ve been there. The baristas are extremely nice and helpful. There’s also a nice outdoor patio!

Excellent coffee! I’ve been going to this location since the first day it opened. I don’t sway much on my blended drink… always an extra hot mocha — no whip! I love their tea selection as well. In my opinion. the BEST coffee for home brew is Ethiopian Super Natural. It’s hard to get, but when it’s in buy in bulk!
The staff is excellent, environment is clean, the pastry & cookie selection is irresistible!

Love Peets! This location is super close to our house and their coffee is amazing! We buy Peets coffee beans in bulk and enjoy at home, during work and on the weekend! I love stopped by for an iced beverage or a warm drink. My favorites include the iced chai, iced coffee and the warm chai.
I absolutely love coming here and would prefer this place over Starbucks. Did I also mention that they carry almond milk as dairy alternative? Freaking awesome!

This Peets coffee is excellent I am a single minded latte drinker so I cannot comment on anything else. However, their lattes meet my satisfaction.

Peet’s definitely has the best hot chocolate in town. It tastes like real chocolate mixed with real milk, as opposed to the usual instant/​powdery taste that most places have. This location has never messed it up for me. The food here is pretty good too.
Their chai latte by itself is great, but I’m really not a fan of all the flavors they do, like pumpkin, chocolate, etc. Chai is already flavorful; it doesn’t really need to be enhanced.
The employees here are always friendly and personable, and the shop is cute and clean. I love how they happen to be right off of the Lake Natoma Bike Trail. This is also a good place to study or, in my case, to interview nannies and first dates.
I’m not a coffee drinker, but I know from my friends who are that you get a free coffee when you buy a bag of beans.

This place opened close to my work and I was in charge of my office coffee run. When I arrived in the morning there were a small line, nothing crazy like what Ive dealt with at starbucks so yay. The cashier was really nice and funny and made a joke when I took out my list on things I wanted to order. They made my drinks fast and I was back at work in no time. Definitely a nice place to sit and study too since I saw a lot of tables and plenty of people just sitting around chatting with friends.

Never have issues with lines here and the quality of the product is superior. Not once has my order been wrong or drippy down the slide or any other lazy mistakes that you experience at Charbucks. I wish I had the time to sit and enjoy this location because it’s so relaxed and friendly and always has parking. Downside– I always seem to come when they are out of almond croissants.

This Pete’s is always packed, and today is no exception. The servers are smiley, but the new girl at the register was very slow… she’ll get it at some point…
There is a small patio outside to sit and enjoy the perfectly crafted lattes and coffees. Plenty of tables, but the chairs are not really comfortable. They have WiFi for free.
I’m always amazed at the number of people who chat us up at this Pete’s. Folsom Pete’s goers are quite an interesting lot… plenty of smiles brightened my day.
