T-Mobile

For starters getting good help in a wireless phone store is very hard from my experience. I have verizon myself but most of the verizon stores I’ve been in sacramento have been so bad. They have no customer service. My wife had verizon as well and we had to switch to tmobile because the bill was too high. I went in this store 2 days in a row and the guys here were so helpful. They gave me a detailed explanation on how the switch over would work and explained how they would cover the transfer charges that came from verizon. They stayed an extra 30 minutes after closing time to make sure the phone and all the contacts were transfered over and the phone was working before I left the store. I would definitely go back for any help and support because they made me feel very comfortable asking them a bunch of questions and they were very educated on all the plans and the phone. I didn’t believe that it had good service and high speeds but it’s up there with my Verizon note 4.

I have never had a bad experience with T-​mobile. They are friendly, helpful, and willing to go the extra mile for their customers.
They will slowly gain ground on the top two carriers, and eventually be an equal. Not because they offer anything that much different, but because their business model is customer first.
Anyone on here who has had a bad experience came in with their negativity and left with it. Too bad for them.
Tmobile sells smart phones and service. If you were expecting them to pull magical glowing rainbows out of their butts, then you were mistaken.
I have been with ATT, Cingular, WorldCom, Family Mobile, Virgin, and some others.
T-​Mobile has created a worthwhile experience out of a circus of losers. And that took time and creativity to build.
Kudos to T-​mobile and their team.

Fast and polite service soon as I walked in I was greeted, within five minutes I was already checking out my purchase.. And put the door clean place polite staff quick service 5 star rating any day. by the way I drove out from Rancho because the Local Ranch store is terrible

Not impressed — felt like a bad «car buying» experience.
One of my relatives was interested in getting Iphone6 with t-​mobile pre-​paid. It does not make a lot of sense to spend so much money on a phone when on pre-​paid but this person wanted to do it. The T-​mobile customer rep kept trying to force the data plan. He gave us some cock/​bull story about Iphone cache gets fragmented and must be connected to the internet for the phone properly. We asked him what if we rebooted the phone — that should clear up the cache? What if we connected over home wifi? We are connected to internet right. So basically, the salesman instead of letting us buy what we wanted, was throwing unnecessary stories.
Things got real interesting when we casually looked at the phone case. He wanted to sell this super big case for $ 90. When we said to look at something cheaper, he started to treat as some dumb people — «really smart buying $ 30 case to protect a $ 650 phone» and when the $ 30 case T-​mobile was selling seemed way overpriced. The experience at this point was no different than car buying where the salesman is pushing for «rust protectors» etc. We ended up not buying the case.
Part of the reason we were buying from the t-​mobile store is we figured that they will migrate from the existing phone to the Iphone. As he was cutting the SIM card, I asked him if he had transferred all the contacts to the SIM card. He said yes. If he did, he was definitely incompetent since not all the contacts transferred over. T-​mobile should fire such incompetent people — makes T-​mobile look bad.
Before leaving the store, I asked the representative if he could turn off data usage while on t-​mobile network. The salesman again gave me some cock/​bull story about the phone designed to only work with data and you can’t turn this off. Came home and a quick web search revealed how to turn off data on cellular networks. And we enabled the phone to work on home wifi. Works all fine — now this person can continue using the phone but also experiment what the data plan would do for them and get familiar with things. Then when they are comfortable, they can sign up for a regular plan on their own timetable. Perfect — this is what we wanted to do without the salesman attitudes.
On the whole, a really bad experience. Instead of helping the customer with what they need, all we got was a lot of grumpiness and attitude not much different than a «bad car buying experience» where the salesman keeps focusing on selling the dealer mark-​up items.

This is NOT a review of this particular store, but the T-​Mobile company itself. I completely agree with John M’s posting on this account. T-​Mobile customer service department is in another state and has no personal concern for your opinion, or whether they are performing up to any minimal expectation. Worst company policies I have ever experienced. They won’t be around for long if they keep this up, people like myself will not tolerate it — and say something about it !

Kudos to the guys at T-​Mobile.
1) They take the time to educate you on what you purchase.
2) They invite you to return to the store for problems or questions… As an alternative to wrestling on line with the 800 number or the website.
3) No pressure or excessive salesmanship here.

I’m actually very surprised that this T-​Mobile store has a 3 star rating. My husband and I purchased an iPhone (not from this store) and Marc Ramon was very friendly and helpful to us from the moment we walked in the store. We felt welcomed and we were satisfied customers, for this reason I am rating this location a 5star. Thanks Marc Ramon for your help and professionalism.

This is NOT a review of this particular store, but the T-​Mobile company itself. We had a couple of «Pay-​As-​You-​Go» Legacy accounts,… no contract, no statements.
A few days ago, we contracted with AT&T Wireless, and AT&T performed a routine deactivation/​cancellation of our T-​Mobile service so we could port our existing numbers to AT&T. We called T-Mobile’s billing dept. the next day to check on our account credit balances ($ 100+), and were informed they we would forfeit any credits due our cancellation. The only alternative we were offered was to assign the credit to another T-​Mobile customer.
This is common THIEVERY,… its our funds, not theirs! Apparently, T-​Mobile thinks its customers are just captives, and subject to their internal rules. We signed no contract, and expected a refund of our credit balances, just as we would have from any legitimate business.
We’ve filed complaints with the California Public Utilities Commission and the FCC.

Best customer service I’ve ever had and I didn’t even spend a dime. They knew I wasn’t dropping any money too. They took care of my questions and answered all of my concerns with sincere desire to make me happy. This has to be the best cell phone store ever.

I am wavering between 2 and three stars for this review. When I went in on the 12^th I was helped by a gentleman called Jamison. He was the very epitome of good customer service and helped me to start up a new account and order the phone I wanted.
The bad experience came on the 19^th when I called to ask about their stock of phones. My phone was answered by someone identifying themselves as «Anthony» and he put me on hold for 17 minutes after which I hung up. (I was multi tasking at the time) — I called the store in Roseville and got an answer to my question right away — so that is it…

I don’t think i want to give these guys even 1 star but such is not the option on Unilocal for the poor customer service I got from this store.

Worst experience ever. The people that work here didnt even know how to upgrade me with the «jump“program and becareful the «jump» program is all a SCAM. First i was paying monthly for the jump program for six months and when i went to upgrade my phone they were trying to make me pay $ 100 for my upgrade at that moment so what happen to the xtra money i was paying every month for six months. All i can tell you guys is dont get the jump program and dont go to that store every body is rude.

Brandon was really helpful. An outstanding staff member who worked really hard to help me transfer data from my old at&t iphone to my new Galaxy S4. Even though he was doing services that were free to me, the customer, he made an outstanding effort. Because of this I bought 2 Android accessories, AND THEN I GOT ONE FREE!!! Thanks Tmobile and thank you Brandon.

I looked up the T-​Mobile on Unilocal and there was only one in the area and it only had 2 stars and the reviews were horrible. But I went there anyway hoping that it would be better for me. Brandon was the employee that waited on me. He did his very best and helped me with lots of free services like transferring contacts, putting on touch screen protectors. He was a perfectionist and they were flawless. Because he did all this work I felt like buying stuff. So I looked around and saw a pink car charger, and a beautiful pink leather S-​4 case! And it was a bonus that I got a 3^rd accessory for FREE! I am so happy with the services at T-​Mobile and will always go to this store to buy T-​mobile stuff.

Bad service here. Thats why the last two reviews gave such bad Comments. The manager who hired the people here should be out of work.

Very poor service! The guy was too arrogant and we weren’t satisfied with the service. Please choose another store especially if you are to purchase a mobile/​start a connection.

Brandon the sales person was extremely rude and condescending wen he realized we had just come to check a phone and not sign up right away. When we said we don’t plan to buy extra data, he said that makes no sense. I am not buying anything from him for sure
