I have been there one time now and I can’t wait to go back. The food was great and so was the price!

This is my new favorite place in town. The food is amazingly delicious and always fresh. If you want to try something new I can’t say enough good about them. Try for your self and see how great they are.

Hot dam. This place has a special place in my heart. Excellent fresh creative tacos with fast super friendly service. I do an annual ski trip through Colorado every winter and this is my stop when passing through Fo Co. Found this place when they first started as a quick stop for stellar food. What I discovered was tacos unlike any other. The tacos come«open» meaning you can see the fresh ingredients and unique cooking techniques. They are labeled«Authentic American» meaning they are a fusion interpretation of the classic taco. With styles like Thai Chicken or The Gobbler(a seasonal thanksgiving themed taco) there is something for everyone, even vegetarians and vegans(in fact they excel at those styles). My favorite is the Cajun Chicken, a perfect balance of Cajun spice and savory chicken taco flavors. And add the rice and beans to your plate… $ 10 for two plus rice and beans, great deal! The kicker of it all was the second time I ate at this hidden gem the owners stop by my table and said hello. They are two of the nicest people you have ever met and you can tell how much effort and love they put into making this place Dam Good. Thanks Mike and Ali!

They aren’t just gluten free — they’re really good with allergies in general. I’m allergic to wheat, soy, oranges, black pepper, ginger, and more, and they were able to accommodate me. Further, they took the time to do so — the cook came out to talk to me and help me find something I could eat. Oh, maybe it’s just my Seattle sensibilities, but the prices were great too.

It is rare that you get done with a excellent meal and you are looking for an adjective to describe the place, or meal you just had, and you find it in the name. Dam good Tacos are, well, they are just Dam Good! Having grown up on the east coast and having the opportunity to live in many places in our country. I get asked many times a year why I picked Fort Collins to settle down in. While their are many reasons, some places assure me I know why I live here. Dam Good Tacos are so simple, yet so delicious. The flavors for me just work. From the quesadilla chips to one of their many delicious taco creations, everything is done right, and most important is always consistent. The shop it self is vibrant, unique, and local. By far a hidden gem, but so glad when you find it. Not to mention the staff here is always so friendly. They treat you how you would like to be treated, and that goes a long way in my book. So overall if you could not tell by now, I am a big fan of Dam Good Tacos. 100% one of my favorite places to eat in Fort Collins, and always a meal and experience that has me so satisfied that I look forward to my next trip.

BEST taco place in the world! I wish there was one in San Luis Obispo! Tacos may seem like something simple, but these tacos have exciting flavors that make you want to try all of them. Also, the staff is friendly and happy, clean dining room, they love children, it feels like family when you walk in. I can’t wait to visit again.

I am crazy about this gem of a restaurant. I simply cannot go to Fort Collins without stopping in to get my fill of delicious, authentic, and simply made taco treats. I could write a love letter to each of their tacos… I could go on but I’ll try to keep this concise– You simply MUST visit this lovely oasis of nourishing, satisfying, and lovingly made good food. I will be back.(Earth Wind and Fire Taco– sweetheart, I’m coming back for you.)

I make a trip to colorado every year and dam good tacos has become a focal point of each visit. each time we go, there is something new on the menu and deciding what to eat is incredibly difficult because everything is so DAM good! this time i went for a power bowl which was a great option for a larger meal and a fuller tummy. the ingredients are fresh and leave you feeling awesome. satisfied without feeling like you put a brick in your stomach. my meal even complied with my new years cleanse!

The service here was good, and the atmosphere is nice. It’s a small place, and the menu options are limited. I’d really give this place a 3.5 or so, but with it being so highly reviewed, I wanted to balance it more accurately. We ordered the Bandito, the Cajun Chicken, and the Carne Asada. The Cajun Chicken was not very good(the flavor combination was off — too sweet). The Carne Asada was okay, but I wouldn’t order it again. The Bandito was great. If I went there again, I’d order the taco plate with 2 Banditos. The bean and rice side dish is also delicious.

The tacos are great — interesting ingredient combinations. The spicy chocolate horchata is AMAZING. The quesadilla chips with the burnt sprinkled cheese are addictive. It’s also secretly a great place to study because it’s quieter than Alley Cat upstairs. Oh! and if you order downstairs and sit upstairs, they’ll deliver your food to you. Great, friendly service.

What a great find! We are in town for the weekend and got to sample the bar scene last night at The Mayor of Old Town. Today we discovered that Dam Good Tacos is right around the corner, and well worth a visit! The dining room is bold with vibrant shades adorning different walls and edges, nooks for a baby of hot sauce selections, and lots of artwork for sale on every wall. Even local suppliers are stylishly credited on their own wall space. The menu offerings are eclectic: Thai chicken tacos, carne asada tacos, big fat Greek tacos, and more. There are also bowls, Salads, and combo plates. Their grilled rice and beans(yes, grilled), and their two taco combo plate($ 10) had us full before we could finish the rice, which is delicious! I had the Thai Chicken taco which I really liked, and the Big Fat Greek Taco(a vegetarian taco), which had a less impressive flavor profile: it’s a bit mild and flavorless. My hubby had the Bandito and the Carne Asada. As with my two choices, one of his choices was good, but. Ot great: the Carne Asada. Overall, the Bandito was voted to be the BEST of all the tacos we tried. It was so flavorful and delicious, I highly recommend it! Their beverage selection is small but potent. I tried their spicy chocolate horchata, which had a delightful Chai flavor. It was served in a pint Mason jar. My hubby tried their cold brew coffee, which is actually a bottled brand called The Ordinary. The drinks were $ 3 each: a bit high. The total meal was $ 26, which seemed a bit pricey. The prices, plus the two decent-but-not-amazing tacos kept them from getting the five star rating. The flavors of the food were fresh and original, which mostly justified the price. So if you are looking for something that tastes more homemade and from the heart than the Chipotle up the street, then check it out– you’ll be happy you did!

We went to Wyoming a few weeks ago and decided to stop at this taco place for dinner in ft. Collins on the way home… The three stars isint because the food wasn’t good… actually the food was great… we got four different kinds of tacos to share and Choco-horchata to drink(yummy) !! I personally hated the location in a creepy alley . We had our pup with us and the only seat was one crusty table by the door… the chairs were broken but we made do… The issue was all the homeless looking people watching us eat and blowing cigs our way — I was so uncomfortable that we are as fast as we could …so we could leave … So I know things aren’t always perfect and I’m just giving my honest opinion and sharing my experience with you… The food was awesome !!! The location was very lack luster for me :. It might have been way different if we sat indoors .i get that … So here’s the review… still try the food if you are around here !!

Before a quick drink at The Mayor, my brother begged to stop into Dam Good Tacos, since I HAD to try them. We ordered The Bandito and the Carne Asada tacos. Both tacos were so delicious! I loved that they werent tiny tacos like very other trendy taco joint, and they paid such close attention the flavors in the tacos. My solution to a great taco? MORE Burnt Cheese! Look forward to coming back to Dam Good Tacos when I am back in Fort Collins

Umm… holy moly. This place is incredibly delicious. We’ll talk food first then beverages. They’ve got tacos, plates & bowls. My friend talked me into a regular bowl(a mere &7) instead of the taco plate(a mere $ 10). I got Earth, Wind & Fire which is essentially some damn good tofu, brown rice, kidney beans, shaved almonds and other delicious goodness all rolled into a big ol’ bowl. My friend got the steak — also damn good though not as good as my vegetarian delight(ok, maybe it is just because I am not always partial to meat). The portions are great. They have a big bowl for $ 10 and I cannot imagine how much food that is; if I were starving I could have ate the whole regular bowl but I wasn’t and had enough left over for an entire other meal. OK — let’s get to the drinks. Er meh gerd. a). they have iced coffee in the most delightful 12oz bottle. ‘The Ordinary’ a cute bottle featuring a penny farthing on the label, crafted by The Coffee Registry — a Ft. Collins co. So adorable and tasty. b). the horchata. THEHORCHATA! Dude. This horchata had a chocolate kick — a little different than your standard fare. I want to swear so badly on here to just describe how incredibly delicious it is… and it is only $ 3! If you only go for the horchata, run! Get there now! IT’S SOGOOD. I feel like I have to go to Dam Good Tacos every time I hit foco from here on out. Man.
