Pretty good food and full bar at 7am! Cops eating breakfast deterred me from have beer.(Don’t like being judged at 7:45am! I had the pork chop breakfast. A little over seasoned, but everything else was great. I like the fact when I get off work at 7am I can stop for food and a few beers before going to bed. I’ll definitely go back.

My compliments to the chef! Who doesn’t want a great breakfast? We are picky. I know exactly how I want my eggs done and so does my partner. We are picky about the coffee and fresh orange juice. We like a nice clean, modern ambiance, and friendly, attentive wait staff. So when we tried out the new restaurant near Fort Lauderdale Beach before heading to Target, we were dubious that it could fulfill all of our breakfast demands. No need to worry. Country Ham and Eggs satisfied us both. We loved it. Everything was just right.

We came here with friends for breakfast. We were sat right away. Our server, Christian, provided us excellent service. He was very prompt with taking our order and refilling our drinks. I ordered the Steak Benedict. The portions were large. The hollandaise sauce was a little salty for my taste; but, overall good. This place is great if your craving simple breakfast. Nothing fancy on the menu. We’ll be back!

Wow, just came in for the first time on Sunday at 11am. Waited a tiny bit but great people watching. I ordered the Jersey Shore(mix of all things good breakfast-y), partner ordered the Country Fried Steak and Eggs. Both were stupendous! The vibe, the fun 80’s music, the nice décor, all worth coming back for. My partner is a foody and he was raving, good job to the chef. Our server, Christine, was friendly, suggested the right meal, and knew the menu well. Not sure why so many bad reviews, maybe some people can’t be pleased.

Great bloody Marys, good selection of eggs Benedict, excellent service and clean restaurant. I’ve had a difficult time finding restaurants where I can have an eggs Benedict on any other day than a Sunday. The pork roll Benedict is unique and worth salivating over… especially if you don’t mind bacon-ish flavor that would be sure to give you a heart attack that you won’t regret. I’m a new fan and highly recommend.

To give this place 2 stars is generous. The décor is about the only nice thing in this restaurant. My family and I went in for breakfast and were skipped on the waiting list. When we were finally seated it took about 10 – 12 minutes before anyone greeted us. Our server later took our order but came back about 7 minutes later to check that she had it right before actually putting the order in. We were there for an hour and a half total and still waiting on our food. We asked to speak to the manager who was a complete jerk and walked away while we were talking to him. We ended up leaving and will definitely not be returning back.

I was a little apprehensive after reading some of the reviews… but what I experienced was so far above and beyond I had to write a review. We arrived to a full restaurant and were seated within a couple of min. It was clean and fresh and looked great! The waitress Adriana came by almost immediately to get us our drinks. She promptly took our order and before we knew it our omelettes and biscuits were placed in front of us. Keeping in mind this was a Sunday morning and completely full with people sitting at the bar as well. I drink a lot and I mean a lot of water and usually have an issue of running out and having to flag someone down… not once during breakfast was my glass more than half empty. The meal was fresh and hot and delicious… even my boyfriend was pleased and he is very particular about his breakfast. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is it was a little pricy, but the food was fresh and great and not greasy. Water, 2 omelettes and a side of biscuits and gravy with tax and tip $ 40…I would consider $ 30 reasonable.

This was the exact letter I sent to the contact email on their website: We just moved to the area and decided to try this place. We were seated and greeted by a gentleman who was less then thrilled to have us at his Table. My mother was telling him what type of omelette she wanted and he got frustrated for some reason and almost yelled«just tell me which omelette lol you want exactly ». When I asked if you guys seved whole wheat pancakes he looked at me like I was nuts and said no. After waiting 25 – 30 minutes two of the smallest omelettes I’ve ever seen came out with a couple pancakes that were overdone without even checking on us almost immediately as our food came out our server came over with a check and walked away. I used to be a server at a breakfast place so I know how it is but his anger and unkind manner was unacceptable for Mediocre food and unacceptable . Sydney Sent from my iPhone

Came back a few times and the last time everything was super greasy and both the bagel and toast were stale. The potatoes had the flavor of the stovetop box mixes. The eggs had little cheese and super greasy to the point that it was the first flavor I tasted in every bite. Probably won’t be back to this one.

My girlfriend and I decided to check the Country Ham out one weekend morning for a change of pace breakfast. We walked in and were pleasantly greeted by the nice new décor. The front wall being all windows, the place was superbly lit with natural light. It was perfect for a wake-up breakfast. We were seated quickly, but that was about all that was quick. We waited literally 10 minutes for anyone to come by and take our drink order. After that, it was easily another 7 minutes before we got our coffee and waters… which didn’t come out together. The waitress stopped by after speaking with another table, a cup of coffee and water in her hand, came by our table, confirmed that we had ordered waters and coffees, and put down the one coffee and water which I really think was meant for another table. Then, about 5 minutes later I got the second cup of coffee and water. Finally, we were able to order. My girlfriend got one of the benedicts with spinach and I got corned beef hash. I was really excited to see they had pork roll, so I had to satisfy my Jersey roots and get a side order of that as well. About 15 minutes later the food came out. The hollandaise on the benedict was bad to say the least. It might have just been coagulated fake butter with a dash of seasoning, but my girlfriend ended up scraping most of it off her soggy benedict. My hash was fine, but clearly was out of a can and the poached eggs were a little overcooked. I was also really disappointed that the pork roll came out with what looked like coagulated fat or grease on it… not how it was supposed to be. Disappointing. Perhaps the most amusing part of the whole meal was how when we were finally able to flag our waitress down to refill our coffee cups, she would only fill them up about ½ way. I actually had to ask her to FILL the cup. C’mon man… this is a freakin’ diner. Not sure this place is worth the price with so many other, and better, breakfast places around. I don’t need to pay for crappy service just because they have ostrich covered booths and chairs.

Breakfast was delicious. The place is very clean and spacious. Menu has a great selection of omelettes, French toast and pancakes. Definitely will come to try some other items. They have a full bar and the staff is very friendly. I enjoyed my meal very much.

I was expecting an actual country-like place(with a bar), but it was more of an uppity brunch place. Prices were much more than the food warranted. Maybe their bar drinks are good, but don’t go to the«Country Ham N’ Eggs» expecting country ham and eggs.

Stopped in on a Sunday morning for a bite to eat. MISTAKE. I sat at the bar, took about 5 – 7 minutes to get to order my coffee. Then placed my Omelette order. 25 minutes later I finally get my order. It was wrong, they forgot ingredients(server admitted her fault), then brought my Rye toast, when I asked for multigrain bread untoasted. Then in the middle of my meal, the owner tells the server to move me over at the bar to squeeze in two more people right in front of me! The jerk couldn’t even ask me himself or tell the server behind closed doors. The server was very courteous and despite being the wrong omelette, it still tasted good. That’s why they get a second star. GOSOMEWHEREELSE!!! Please trust me!!!

Had breakfast with my team there this morning, and I loved it! The service was good and our servers were nice and attentive, checking on us and bringing coffee refills. The restaurant was clean and well kept. I noticed what seemed to be a shift leader(? don’t know, he was a young guy) checking up on us and keeping the place looking tidy. The food was sooo good! I got the G Man bagel, which is basically a breakfast sandwich with eggs, bagel, bacon and cheese with any side. I got the home fries and cheddar cheese and loved it! The only thing about this place is that it’s a little overpriced($ 9 for the blast sandwich). If not for the overpriced breakfast menu, I would have given this location 5 stars!

We were happy to try a new breakfast place in the neighborhood. The inside space is clean and modern and the menu was great. I had an egg white omelet with bacon and swiss cheese and wonderful multigrain toast. My husband had a breakfast wrap that he described as the perfect size and taste. We had a super nice waitress and enjoyed great service and will definitely be back.

First visit, obviously as they just opened. Came for Sunday breakfast with a friend. The place is very clean and attractive. Comfortable booths and tables. Staff was helpful without being overly attentive. Think they are looking for more staff, from the sign out front. Had a standard breakfast, 2 eggs(a bit overcooked), sausage patties, oatmeal and a biscuit. Wish the biscuit was homemade it clearly was not. Food was fine, coffee was hot. I will come back and try some other things. Welcome to the neighborhood!

I’ve always enjoyed Country Ham N’ Eggs in Lauderale-by-the-Sea, so though I was delighted when the same proprietors decided to open this new, completely redecorated Country Ham N’ Eggs Bar & Grill on Oakland Boulevard with a full bar service, meaning I can get a real Sunday morning Bloody Mary to go with my Eggs Benedict, I was thrilled. But at the same time disappointed to hear that they intend to close their Lauderdale-by-the-Sea location. Putting that matter aside, the new Country Ham N’ Eggs Bar & Grill is really large with plenty of comfortable booth seating, spotlessly clean, pleasantly decorated with a full service bar. The food offerings and the lively, spirited over the top friendly diner type of service remains pretty much the same as was the case in their other location. For diner food, friendly somewhat whimsical high spirited service, one can hardly do better. Everything I’ve had has been just as good if not better than at any other such place in town with the prices more than reasonable and the portion sizes larger than most. Though I generally only go here for breakfast, I can attest to the fact that they do serve up a darn good lunch as well. Hopefully they may soon also be serving up dinners as well. Though I usually get their Eggs Benedict, on my most recent visit I merely went for a sandwich tuna melt lunch with coleslaw. When ordering, I had my choices between four breads and four cheeses. The service was quick and my order arrived in as nice a presentation as any tuna melt sandwich could be presented. It was stuffed full of a tuna salad, perfectly seasoned, tasty, a good melt of cheese and a pleasant toast flavor to the bread; for a little sandwich, about as good as it gets. So, I’m a real fan of Country Ham N’ Eggs Bar & Grill, and only hope they do well as the location they’ve selected has proved to be unpopular, the graveyard of a good number of other varying restaurant and bar operations.
