As a self proclaimed«Pizza Snob» who either makes it at home or carefully selects where I am willing to eat a pizza, all I can say is that you too the top spot on my pizza list here in Fort Lauderdale. The house sauce is very well balanced and the crust is just the right amount of crispy and chewy. I had just a plain pepperoni with mozzarella and no house seasoning. The cheese was full of flavor and creamy, and the freshly sliced pepperoni had just the right taste and texture. Also, to get a pizza made with that quality of ingredients, at under $ 10 is rare to say the least. Quick and friendly service, and for sure one of my new dinner spots. You guys got me in 3 times in a week. I used you to «introduce» friends to your awesome pizza as an excuse to come back again… they loved it too. Thumbs up all around.

This is my second time visiting this restaurant and I’m still not sure about the vision for it. It’s kinda a Subway sandwich shop for pizzas — you build it as you walk through the line. No waitresses or waiters. However there is no clear place to start your order it’s on he entire other end of the restaurant with a 12″ round sign that says order here. There are four employees lingering around. I stated to order my pizza by calling the menu items by name on the chalk board. Thin crust San Mariano red sauce and he stopped me and said oh you want the house Sauce? Nothing said house sauce on the board. Then when I was giving him the topping I wanted he said oh you want to build your own pizza? Vs one of their numbered pizzas. Yes. Once you place your order you get stuck behind people in front of you ordered their build their own. Salads and they take your pizza and put it by the oven and walk away. Then you pay and my pizza is still sitting there. None of the 4 employees could put it in the oven. Finally the Buss boy comes over and slides it in without washing his hands. Good thing he didn’t touch my pizza or we would have had a problem. Overall the pizZa was good. Nothing to write home about. The staff is too young and not really trained to guide your experience here. Your left to float around to try and figure out where to go next and get your food. I was 1 of 3 people in the place. So there was more than 1 employee per person available. To the managers — watch the hygiene — guide the guest — help the guest understand the concept — help them build a good pizza — pay attention the the pizzas waiting to go in the oven — adjust the seating so they are looking at your front patio vs ¾ of the seating watching people longer doing nothing behind counter. Consider name tags for your employees. Ps — my host was Jason. Pros — fresh veggies and meats. Fresh herb. Like that concept. They have beer and wine — nice touch. Best of luck.

Everytime I get a chance to come here, when I’m in the area i always do. And always good. Great staff, great pizza, i love this place. Every time i come i find out something else i can add to pizza that’s included. Just ask they probably have it. Dry and fresh herbs.

Ive gone a few times and have been sending my clients as well. Only good things about flash fire pizza. The way they use fresh ingredients is the main reason I like to go and recommend it to my clients. BBQ chicken is amazing and I really like the san pelegrino sparkling drinks!!! I’ve been here a few times since their grand opening in August 2015. I recently went to use a Groupon. While it was a great deal, I noticed a few things that were disappointing. 1. Most of the meats had an up charge. If you weren’t getting pepperoni or sausage be prepared to pay extra! 2. The vegetables were no longer labeled and some were hard to distinguish so I had to keep asking what things were. What happened to the signs? 3. The herbs looked droopy as if nobody had watered or tended to them. 4. The staff was not as attentive. They were more concerned about the NFL game than customers. Nobody likes working on a Sunday evening but c’mon. I still got a great house red wine for $ 4 bucks. My pizza was okay but not as good as previous visits. They have like 1 parmesan and crushed red pepper shaker for the whole restaurant– it’s weird!

It’s hard not to compare Flash Fire Pizza to the other assembly lines pizza places that are popping up, but I knew I had to try it, especially when I saw that they were offering a Groupon. It was New Years Day and I didn’t feel like cooking, and my Groupon was about to expire, so it was the perfect time. I was worried that since it was a holiday that there would be restrictions on the Groupon, so we gave them a call just to be sure. The friendly girl on the phone informed us that the Groupon was accepted any time, so off we went. The atmosphere here is kind of like a modern warehouse and a greenhouse merged. There are fresh veggies and herbs displayed, but the high ceilings, and industrial style seating are also present. They have a lot of pizza options to chose from, and then you also have the options of making your own from their many toppings. I have learned in the past that no matter how exciting making your own seems, the first time it’s best to go with what they have on the menu. I ordered the spinach and ricotta pizza, and my boyfriend opted for the margarita. We headed down to the register where I also ordered a glass of wine and water. The do have a fancy coke machine here, so if you’re going to splurge and get soda, this is the place. I was impressed with their wine variety as they had more than just«red or white» and I went with a pinot noir. Bottle prices were decent if you wanted to make a full experience, but my boyfriend skipped the wine, so I opted not to have a whole bottle to myself. Our two pizzas with the wine came to $ 28, so the $ 20 Groupon really made more a cheap meal and we were given a number and took a seat. Our pizzas were delivered within a few minutes and the girl kindly asked if we would like any Parmesan cheese or crushed red pepper, so while this is a go to the counter and order place, the staff is there to be of service. I let the pizza cool and dug in. I was impressed with the crust. It was crispy and had enough thickness to it that the pizza wasn’t floppy or soggy. I liked the spinach ricotta which also had feta and kalamata olives… the kalamata olives here are the real thing with a stronger briny flavor. My boyfriend and I did some mixing and matching and I may have liked his margarita pizza just a little but better than my spinach ricotta. His had so much yummy gooey cheese, with the freshness of tomatoes and basil to balance it out, and his crust was awesome as well. The staff here was great throughout the whole experience, from the girls making our pizza and explaining the process when we arrived, to the guy at the register, to the girl who delivered our pizzas. We were even checked on to make sure everything was to our liking. They also do make your own salads if you are trying to avoid the carbs of pizza, and they have a great special with a 1 topping pizza and a side salad for $ 9.99. The pizzas vary in price depending on the toppings you chose, but if you go all veggie, ~$ 8 is what you should expect. The pizzas are large enough for one very hungry person, but most people will have leftovers. Now that I’ve experiences Flash Fire, and know that their crust can hold up to the toppings, I will go back and make my own. They have tons of unique toppings… and a ricotta butternut squash pizza is something I think I need to try.

I love this place– no, like really, really love this place! fresh, homemade mozz cheese, homegrown herbs, and every delicious topping you could ever ask for prepared exactly the annoying way you ask for it. Ha! It’s literally flash fired and on your plate in three minutes– perfect for my Hangry ass with two wild toddlers running all over the place. Do yourself a flavor and pair it with my favorite glass of Mark West Pinot noir. The kind employees working here make the«unexpected tip» a pleasure. See you soon flash

Let me start by saying that I was super skeptical about a fast casual pizza joint. This place blew my mind. Fresh ingredients, salads and pizzas, wines, and craft beer. The staff is extremely well trained and friendly and the manager/owner really treats every guest like a friend. I recommend the bbq chicken pizza because it is the best I have ever had. They get the sauce right, the cheese, and most importantly the crust! Check it out if you are in the area, or take a drive just to try it. I live 35 mins from there and still try and get there as often as I can! #thegypseafoodie

3 ½ stars Ambiance– C. Although the interior is hip and clean, there is no getting around that you look out floor to ceiling windows to Federal Highway. The night we were there they slid open the sliding windows so street noise was an issue. The AC was another issue. We had to move twice to escape cold air blowing on us. Watched other people do the same thing. Efficiency-A. You move quickly through the line as your pizza is assembled. Friendly and helpful staff. Pizza is ready in just a few minutes. Pizza-B. The ingredients available are terrific; however, the crust is very thin and just a bit different tasting. I had the Prosciutto Classico and really enjoyed the toppings. Beverages– B. They had a small but varied selection of wine by the glass or bottle. I had a nice Chianti for $ 5 a glass. Couple next to us were drinking a $ 34 bottle of Ferrari Carano Chardonnay. Value B+

Coming back here I immediately knew my experience would be MUCH better than before. I was greeted literally by every employee at some point. Once I got to the line, I ordered and began the crafting process. Jason, the employee who waited on me was great. He offered suggestions, let me try a sample to sample of the ingredients to make sure I’d like them. Overall it was such a smooth process. My food was ready almost immediately. I will note, when I ordered, mine was the only pizza in the oven so it shouldn’t take long, but still. I got my food fast and was ready to eat. The pizza is delicious– I will never say anything negative about that. Everything is quality in terms of ingredients. In the thin crust pizza market, it’s definitely number one. The soda machine was out for most of my visit which was kind of a pain, but easily rectified by getting a tea behind the counter– calorie savor too. I’ll also note that when I wrote my original review the manager reached out to me and apologized which I respect. He said to let him know when I came back and I didn’t– I just came back. This service wasn’t service based on trying to get a better Unilocal rating– this, in my opinion, is them stepping up their game. I’m glad I’m a fan of this place again. My waistline may not be, but I am.

The concept of building your own Pizza by picking and choosing your own ingredients is exciting and adventurous! They have an abundant different Toppings, Cheeses, Meats, and Sauces to choose from and you can also pick between Regular Crust or Gluten Free(up-charge). All this for $ 7.95 seems like a deal but be careful with some up-charges as some of the ingredients cost a little extra. As long as you are looking at the menu on the wall while ordering you should be good! Their parking lot is located in the back with a easy back door entrance. You walk in and are greeted by a huge open air dining room with the ingredient line/kitchen on one side and tables throughout. There is tons of seating, some are big community tables and some regular tables. You will see all the options for Pizzas on the wall menu where you begin your order. They do have pre-decided pizzas if you are not in the creative mood along with salads! My husband and I both went with the Build Your Own Pizza with the Regular Crust! It took awhile for us to become acknowledged by the staff but once they greeted us we were finally ready to start! On this night it was not busy at all but as we were going through the ingredient line a lot of the toppings were scarce. This was no big deal but presentation behind the glass is important by making your topping look fresh and plentiful. They were also making their Fresh Mozzarella during our visit which the guy was very friendly and let us have a sample! This is when I noticed that they have two ingredient sides and this one was stocked and looking great. If only both sides matched for visual pleasure and appearance. After our Groupon usage we sat down and dug into our creations! I’m a total veggie head so mine consisted of all veggies which looked awesome. My husband decided on a BBQ Chicken, his version with lots of extra toppings! After having a piece we both were wondering where the flavor is??? Neither one of our pies were seasoned, the crust was super bland, and with us both having very different toppings they were both flat tasting. The crust to me is very important on a pizza and this one was just a flavorless unexciting thin crust. Leftovers are always leftovers which the pizzas after being reheated tasted worse. I am not a picky pizza eater and actually love any kind of pizza but as far as Flash Fire goes. Been There– Done That– Now Onto Better Blazes!

We’ve been back twice in the last week, and so far they are doing great. There was a little mix up with one of our pizzas, it got an unexpected balsamic drizzle, they were more than happy to remake the pizza, but I didn’t think it was necessary. The Smokehouse pizza was great, Even with its oopsie, the Steak Gorgonzola was awesome as well!

Great new pizza place in Fort Lauderdale with a farm to table concept. We stopped in by chance after the restaurant we were trying to go to happened to be closed. Located in a small plaza, squeezed in between a burger place and a mobile phone store. There are 2 entrances: 1 through the front, facing the street. And another in the rear. With indoor and outdoor seating. Parking can be found behind the plaza. DECOR Very cool and modern. Exposed brick, hanging kegs, fresh vegetables & herbs adorn the back wall/counter, and modern light fixtures. Seating is a mix of tables and communal high top tables with cool metal industrial chairs. FOOD The menu offers 13 signature pies, salads, and charcuterie boards. Starting at $ 7.95, customers can build their own pizza. Customers can choose what type of dough, including a gluten-free option. Sauces, toppings like bison sausage, and cheese(the artisan mozzarella is crafted by an in-house cheese monger). Along with the food, the restaurant serves different wines, bottled/draft beers. Today we tried the SMOKEHOUSE and the FRESHMOZZSALAD. The pizzas are«personal» size, coming with 6 slices and served on wooden plank. Good portion size for sharing or to keep for a second meal. The salad was huge and presented beautifully on a wooden plank. SERVICE We were instantly greeted as we walked in. The GM, Jason, was there and also greeted us. He even took a few minutes to explain the concept and walk us through some of the different items on the menu. Everyone was really nice, from the guys bringing out the food to the ones cleaning off the tables. Overall had a great experience. Service was GREAT, food was good… reasonably priced. and came out pretty quickly. Just wish that the beer selection was a little bigger. Other than that, we would definitely come back.

This place has great super thin crust pizza that is cooked quickly. You go through the assembly line and pick your toppings. All the toppings are super fresh and there are many to choose from. They have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. I like that they have a hand washing station by the drink machine. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The parking lot is behind the building. You enter from the parking lot or you can walk around to the front and enter off of Federal Hwy. The décor is very nice and modern. If in the mood for a quick pizza for less than $ 10, this is a must try!

Yeah, 5 stars. What’s there not to like about this place? I mean, no offense but it’s like an exact copy of Blaze, but somewhat nicer. They also advertise the quality of their ingredients. The price points are also almost exactly the same as Blaze! I came for the free pizza, but I stayed for the free pizza. Did I mention that their grand opening came with free pizza? I did pay for a drink. But, this is a marketing strategy that I definitely appreciate. I will now be a customer for life and all it cost them is $ 8. As a marketing student, I can appreciate those numbers. The pizza was truly delicious. I loved the red marzano sauce and thin crust. The décor was awesome, I felt like I was in someone’s kitchen, almost. I also really liked that they had fresh ingredients hanging all around the restaurant. If your wondering how you can buy my affection… $ 8 worth of pizza will probably do it.

I’ve been going back and forth on what I wanted to rate FFP. I’m settling on 4.5 stars, but since that isn’t an option, 5 stars it is! FFP just recently opened on Federal, and I got a chance to go to their opening pizza party where they offered free pizza to any and everyone! I thought this was a wonderful idea and such an awesome way to welcome the community. The pizza that I had at the pizza party was pretty good. I went with their red sauce, shredded mozzarella, parmesan, sautéed onions, jalapenos, and pepperoni. I also got a fountain drink from their free style coke machine– big fan of the Glaceau Fizzy Water. I definitely enjoyed my meal, but I wasn’t partial for their red sauce. I don’t know what it was about it, I just wasn’t the biggest fan. Everything else was great though, especially the crust. It had a coal fired feel and taste to it, very good! I went back to FFP to try something different. The second time I got a pie with pesto sauce, mozzarella, feta, sautéed onions, roma tomatoes, red onions, and bacon. Now this pizza was out of this world! I loved the mix of the pesto with the two cheeses. So tasty! I will definitely have to get a pesto based pizza again in the near future. Overall my experience at FFP was pretty great. I really look forward to my next visit.
