Omg don’t stay, eat, or anything at this place… Between the cats and cat piss all over the tiki bar. And the way the kitchen looks. I rather starve… Let’s talked about the hotel… This place is infested with bed bugs that have been taken care of in over a year and now cause of the flooding, the back rooms are infested with fleas… Once a customer complaints they just give you back your money and bomb that unit only and rent it out again. The owners is doing nothing to get these problems uncontrol. So all I can say if you like fleas, bug beds, and cat piss this is the place for you…

Great food. Bartenders are great. Really loved this hotel. Clean comfortable and colorful. Loud at night. If your a light sleeper might not be for you.

We had breakfast here one morning and it was nice and fresh! Great service. It’s a very limited menu for someone who is allergic to eggs and gluten. We don’t eat pork or beef either and most items have one or the other. They were accommodating with special orders though. I guess we’re spoiled coming from Denver but more places around here should offer turkey bacon or sausage. Other than the limitations it was a good/fresh breakfast.

I laughed when I saw that one of the categories on Unilocal this place is attire. What ran through my mind was«yes.» You do need to have some, but not much, clothing on in order to go there. After all, there is a pool immediately adjacent to the bar. It’s a bit of an adventure to find it. Turn right off the bridge and then turn right again at SOBs. We paid for city parking but you might be able to get free parking at the lighthouse hotel. You’ll want to take a photo in the giant tiki chair or with the huge-breasted Polynesian woman in the poster by the bathrooms. I pause here to note that the stalls in the bathrooms are bigger than my first apartment. The reason behind this I do not know. Maybe in case it’s raining and they need to move patrons of the open bar and into shelter? You could definitely host a party in each of the stalls. Check and the selection of tanks and tees by the bar. Don’t be thrown by the Styrofoam plates and plastic utensils. The food is better than would be expected with that sort of tableware. There are different food specials every day and a generous interpretation of happy hour. Of course, this is a tiki BAR, so drinks rule. Try the bucket — yes, a bucket — of margarita at $ 10 and you get to keep the bucket. Beer is pricier at $ 7. Looking forward to a return visit.

Outdoor, very tiki bar vibe! It’s a unique set up, but it does feel rundown. TVs everywhere make it a good place to watch a game, but don’t expect the volume to be on. Bartenders weren’t overly friendly, but were attentive. Decent beer selection, but no mixed drinks I was dying to try. Food was average. Portions are large. I had the Chef’s salad which was overflowing with deli turkey and ham. We ordered a plethora of appetizers, which were hit or miss.

The lady behind the bar is incredibly rude. Food is terrible. Menu says late night food until 12 am but don’t count on it. There is a small sign above the bar that says order food and drinks here and if you don’t notice it you will get yelled at by the mean lady behind the bar and the old drunk lady blowing cigarette smoke in your face. Also the locals sitting at the bar don’t have to wait in line and they will get served first even though you have been waiting in line.

My husband and I love the Lighthouse and the Tiki Bar. You can’t beat the price for what you get. The rooms are a bit dated BUT clean and the ac works beautifully. The pools are clear and well maintained. The Tiki Bar is by far the best for people watching and enjoying a drink with good music. The karaōke is the best on Fridays. There are some very talented people around here.

I never realized this place existed. It’s poolside at the colorfully painted Lighthouse resort on Ft. Myers beach. Tables and bars under the shade of trees and tiki huts. All outdoor, casual, vacationy beachy feel. Awesome drink specials — Bacardi rum their specialty. If you’re not driving, you can get a drink in a small bucket which is like having 3 drinks for under $ 10. The menu is pretty much bar food — hamburgers, quesadillas, fried cheese sticks, chicken fingers, hot dogs — all good. They also serve breakfast daily until 11am. Attentive service, reasonable prices. I imagine in high season it’s pretty difficult to park here but off season, there is parking at the hotel.

We did not have the opportunity to eat on this visit we came in for karaōke about 930 or 10 we decided to put in a slip to sing at 10 o’clock and the host said that they are now quitting at 11 vs 12 last year when we visited because of the noise at the hotel. karaōke was fun the sound system is setup fantastic you can really hear yourself sing when singing which is rare for karaōke. the bartender was less than friendly I met some people at the Secretary of State’s office that have more personality. not too exciting there is no servers that I saw waiting on you so you have to wait in line at a college bar which wasn’t very good . we sat at a dirty table for three hours and it was never cleaned we watched multiple multiple people that were extremely drunk stumbling and banging into things which is okay but there was no visible security. I would still return back the atmosphere is awesome and it’s fun

Hotel… Clean. Inexpensive. Great location. Somewhat dark and small. I just sleep here so all is fine. 2 pools. A bar at the pool. Karaōke is out of this world. They sound like the real thing. It is do much fun. The drink line can be a bit long. Go there for one or two drinks to enjoy the show.

Strawberry Daqs were cheap during happy hour and the bartenders were pleasant and gave us nice healthy happy hour pours on our alcohol. Love the tiki vibe. Taco night was perfect along with great kareoke from Brandi? Or Beth? Either way. We dug the people and the ambiance especially considering we were staying right above the tiki bar and didn’t have far to walk to get to our room. Literally under a minute walk. We will always come back here when rocking the west coast

Love the Tiki bar atmosphere. $ 5 daily specials. We had delicious burgers with crispy fries for lunch and ham and cheese omelets for breakfast. Mostly sandwiches, pizza, and salads round out the offerings. Generous portions.

I drive about one hour to come here when I’m fortunate enough to have a Friday night off from work. Fun karaōke crowd Friday night and very reasonably priced breakfast for the«morning after.» I ordered a sausage egg cheese sandwich on white($ 4.99) Only complaint is sausage was skimpy. For $ 1.00 more and a healthy sausage it still would have been a bargain. Kudos to the 2 girls running the place for dealing with the hung over /cheap skate crowd. The smiles on the faces of Tracey and Charity are uplifting so early in the morning!

I dined here a couple times while staying at the Lighthouse Inn. Had lunch one day and breakfast the next, each time our meals were great! Reasonably priced and good tasting, better than I expected in terms of service and hospitality as our bartender was lovely. I unfortunately can’t say anything about their drinks being strong or weak as we didn’t order alcohol but their food was pretty good. Loved the ambience. This place is usually hopping in season Nov-May but luckily in the summer time it’s slower(making for a more relaxed atmosphere) which I thoroughly enjoyed. There is live music playing at night sometimes which can be heard from some of the rooms depending on where you stay. Overall I’d definitely be back again!

The Lighthouse has become THE spot for me to stay when in Ft. Myers Beach. Not only because of its location & fair room rates(at least«off-season») but because of the Tiki Bar located next to the pool. This place is great! The palm thatch roof & bamboo posts and accents visually transport you to a scene outta Gilligan’s Island. Miscellaneous beach bric-à-brac hangs from the ceiling. It’s a good sized space w/plenty of seats. Oh, and if it interests you … the bathrooms are spacious and gorgeous. Although the drinks are good, they’re not amazing. I understand the safety reasons for serving everything in plastic cups, but it’d be really cool if they had proper tiki drink barware. Actually it seems damn near everywhere in FLA(near a beach) serves cocktails in plastic cups, so maybe that’s just the way they do it. Anyhow … this isn’t the place for beer snobs, but they do carry Stella so I was happy. The food is good, nothing fancy just decent pub fare. Over the last three visits the bartenders have been great … fun laid back folks. The regulars are a blast. I’ve met some real characters there. They have the typical«guy w/a guitar» singing classic rock tunes on certain nights and I’ve been there during Karaōke which was pretty funny. Not being a sports fan, I don’t care about all the flat screens scattered around the bar — but for those looking to watch a game I’d figure this would be awesome. Overall the Lighthouse Tiki Bar is one of my favorite spots to drink and then stumble to my hotel room … you just can’t beat it.

My bartender at the Tiki Bar was the worst. Here is an except from our interaction: Me: «What beers do you have?» Bar: «What do you like?» Me: «What do you have?» Bar: «Give me an idea of what you like» Me: «Do you have any hefeweizens?» Bar: «Any what?» Me: «Hefeweizens?» Bar: «I don’t carry that» Me: «How about a stout?» Bar: «No stout(s), but I have Guinness». They had no beer menu, no bottles hanging anywhere for me to see. I can see why the bar was a mess, the bartender laid down about 15 cocktail napkins with my one beer.
