First time in over 14 years of eating at Bonefish, I had bad service and poor atmosphere Worst service in chaotic and noisy setting Disorganized and slow service Enjoyed the entrée but sure was thirsty I did not enjoy the bitter spinach but could not exchange it Given the bill before the end of meal! I did not realize that meant the server would not return to the table Pushed Empty plates and containers to the end of the table I could not even use my credit card to pay It was not busy and almost 8 pm Now see reviews where others were rushed Eating out is about the experience and being waited on and served with great attitude and attentiveness It is about interaction as well 1st Time in my Life I had a Review REMOVED I prior to coming to Florida had only written 2 Negative Reviews Shame, this place is not like most Bonefish which usually have excellent service, anticipate all your needs and offer cozy environment and good value which ensures a good dining experience. Bonefish usually prides themselves on Presentation and Experience. This location failed This place disappointed and then did not want me to let others know about the poor service and odd environment UPDATE: Manager did not credit my meal that night or reply to email/message or return my call

Bonefish Grill is fast becoming my favorite chain restaurant. It is simply a cut above others. The food and management are simply outstanding! Bang Bang Shrimp is a hot killer when you share with your friends and family and it can be filling by itself! It is hot and spicy so if you cannot handle the heat be very careful. Don’t forget the Ahi Tuna Sashimi. Nicely seared with wasabi and pickled ginger. 3 out of 4 times, I ordered the Caesar Salad with anchovy. The garlic croutons added that crunchy bites. The House Salad is also good with olive, tomatoes and vinaigrette dressing. Tonight two of us have the grilled shrimps with scallops. My favorite sauce is Lemon butter. A little Jasmine rice and mixed vegetables or sautéed Spinach will get you back for more time. I ordered the Pecan Parmesan crusted rainbow trout. This is one of my favorite menu item. It is cooked to perfection! What can you do with a brownie with a scope of vanilla ice cream, some raspberry sauce and macadamia nuts and whipped cream. First you finish the first one then ask for a second! I found the Jamaican Coconut custard pie on the sweet side. Especially with the whipped cream and Rum sauce. Who is counting calories anyway! Wait, there is Crème Brulee with a littler berries and whipped cream. May be on the next visit! The food is excellent and staff is super friendly and attentive. No wonder there is always a line for a table!

This used to be a favorite for our family and friends but not anymore The last three time it has been bad. Gone down hill in food and service at this location. The usual tasty bang bang shrimp has been greasy and not crispy as if the oil was not hot enough My oyster Rockefeller was cold and the oysters were dime sized The crab corn soup had no crab Crab cakes were DRY Fish tacos has less fish They have gotten the entrée order wrong several times and we have to wait longer to fix it. The waiter is busing tables now so the service is SLOW. 2 hours for a 2 course meal !! This used to have lines out the door but not so much anymore. I’m not the only one who has noticed the decline of this location

I’m with Glen C. on this one. Giving it the 3rd star because I’m in a good mood and the food wasn’t terrible. Honestly tho’ there was more flavour in my granddaughters over cooked Tilapia kids meal than my sesame seared Ahi tuna which came with a jammy tasting spicy dipping sauce reminiscent of the bottled Asian stuff. Predictable, atypical menu but with fine dining prices. Senior’s Jack Astor’s ambiance. The only thing missing were the crayons to doodle on the Kraft paper table top covers. Meh.

On a Friday night at 6pm, this placed was packed! If they could stack tables on top of each other, they certainly would. I was barely able to walk through the restaurant without my purse hitting someone in the back of the head. All of the staff were great, but you could tell they were a little stressed by how busy they were. I ordered the tacos, but with sirloin. The mango was a strange choice, as it was very sweet. I’ve had pineapple on tacos before, which was fine because it added a sharp, sour taste to the savory meat. I scooped the mango off of my remaining two tacos. I had a side of mixed greens which was tossed in the perfect amount of dressing. It provided a great and light contrast to the tacos. If I had to pick out of all the restaurants in the area, I probably wouldn’t choose Bonefish again. But, it was great to try someplace new.

Come here for brunch on Sunday’s, unbelievable service! Manager checked on us twice and the food and drinks were unreal. Will be back many more times!

Always a fan of this place, no matter when I go in. Bang Bang Shrimp is killer when you share it, as it can be filling by itself. The neat thing is they dole out chop sticks to eat it with. It’s spicy and has a kick, so people who can’t handle the heat, should be advised. Spicy Tuna Bowl had enough sliced tuna that I wasn’t left wondering if it swam away before it got to the table. The website lists the meal as not only being a new item, but«Premium sushi grade ahi tuna, sesame-seared rare, avocado, sweet chili sauce, jasmine rice + passion fruit salsa». The sauce was made to be able to dip your tuna, and it had just the right heat to it. When mixed with the jasmine rice, it was barely noticeable as the rice helped cool it down. Things can be a little on the expensive side, depending on what you order, but it’s worth it. You don’t leave hungry.

I love their regular menu. I have dined at the Metairie location many times and have enjoyed all they have to offer from appetizers to entrees to cocktails. I’ve been going here since they first opened but this review isn’t about the regular menu. Its about the be well menu. This menu offers items designed to cater to the clean eaters, calorie counters and dieters They offer entrees that amount to 600 calories or less. On their website they commend customers for placing health & wellness as a «priority» in their own lives. They also claim to share these priorities, as a matter of fact they say it’s at the top of their list. It was statements like these that lead me into the restaurant. I ordered the 6 oz. Angler Steak with a side of steamed broccoli. I wanted double broccoli but was told by the hostess taking my order that it came with just 1 side. Long story short what I received was a product that was anything but a «top priority». The steak was dry, bone dry. I was shocked. They usually do well with steaks. They accompanied the steak with a palm full of broccoli & spaghetti squash. I’m 5’3 my palms are small. I was confused by the squash, I was told their was 1 side. I was disappointed in this effort from Bonefish Grill. It cost 18 $! For that amount my order pales in comparison to what you can get for 18 $ on the regular menu. They usually knock it right out of the park. I plan on trying more of this Be Well Menu. I’m going to give it another go tomorrow. I’ll lend my final verdict then. As of now avoid it.

I have never been to this chain restaurant. I know people including relatives who like it. I decided to give it a shot since I have a 10 dollar coupon. I am struggling to give it 3 stars. It is closer to 2.5 but not sure a 2. Corn and crab chowder had no crab. The caesar salad had a heavy dressing. The ahi tuna steak was very small and a poor quality. I have had tuna at several restaurants down here that were very good. I subbed green beans for the spaghetti squash and splurged for a dollar. They were undercooked. They brought me the squash anyway and it was disgusting. It was noisy and full with an older clientele but I expected it. I felt young and i am over 50. Given that it is owned by Bloomin Brands who own Carrabas and Outback and is based in Florida I expected better. After I wrote this and reread my review it gets a 2. I can’t think of a reason to come back and I have another 10 dollar coupon!

Very sad that two women can be accosted by a rude 30 something over a misunderstanding about an empty seat and after spending a very large amount of money. I waited for some apology or for the bartender to step in however none of this happened and no one even attempted to make my friend feel better. She had to immediately exit the establishment feeling high anxiety Personally I could care less about this couple but in an establishment that caters to a crowd with money this was appalling and I will not return I don’t recommend it unless you don’t mind having self entitled 30 somethings treat you badly and having management ignore it

Sadly I just had my last experience at Bonefish. I stopped in after work with a friend for some cocktails and appetizers. I had my bag on the chair next to me. A couple came in and I did n’t hear her ask about whether the chair was taken… so she loudly asked the bartender. I turned and moved the bag. They say down and I said«you could have asked me.» I turned back to my friend and was saying that it would have been nice if she had asked me, then she yelled at me, and the boyfriend threatened me saying«DON’T EVENLOOKATME.» I was feeling threatened and began to shake. Luckily I had already paid my bill so I left as fast as possible. I am a 62 year old woman who was being threatened by a man at least half my age and no one responding. I spoke with manager on way out, all he could say was I’m sorry… no offer of compensation. Didn’t ask if I was ok. No one stopped to talk even though I was outside a good five minutes because I was too shaken to drive. LAST visit ever to this chain. This experience was like being at a dive bar brawl. A misunderstanding about a handbag does not deserve a physical threat. The bartender was listening… no one did a thing. So, beware, this place no longer feels safe to me even at a reasonable hour. Would have given no stars but can’t on this site.

Bang bang shrimp always a family favorite appetizer. The bananas foster is amazing; however, very rarely have it(suggestion to offer more often!).

I have never known a restaurant that was consistently good for both food and service but Bonefish is one of the best whether you like the seafood, or like me, chose their filet mignon which is prepared perfectly, exceptionlly seasoned with texture like velvet. I can’t say enough good things about it. It was busy and will be even more busy in season. We had a reservation and I highly recommend it even in the summer months.

Couldn’t wait to eat at Bonefish Grill but when we went in the person behind the bar was like WE’RECLOSED. I had to ask again what she said because their website says that they’re open to 10pm and it was a little after 9. Both my husband and I thought that she was rather rude about it considering it says they’re open till 10. While we were in the car deciding on a different place to eat 2 more people walked up to try to get in but now the door was locked. Be careful they obviously close when they want.

GOODCHAINRESTAURANT This is a very popular chain restaurant, and for a good reason: it is a cut above the many others. Although they miss a beat now and then, overall dining here is a pleasant experience and the food is usually well above average. Coupons and special deals bring a lot of old-timers in, but, hey, I resemble that remark!

It’s a chain restaurant, so you should have expectations as such. We tend to stick to apps and certain dishes like the Bang Bang Shrimp Tacos which are usually pretty decent. The place can get a little touristy on season, but we enjoy it for lunch now and then. The service is hit or miss. Again, it depends if you go on or off tourist season. All in all, I rate it as decent for a chain restaurant. No horror stories to tell, but nothing too memorable either.

Kristen was our server and she was awesome! Great fresh food — Moscow mule was fabulous! Sweet lips fish was so fresh — tuna street tacos out of this world! Wedge salad was super good! Finished with key lime pie to split!

Came here on a late Sunday afternoon. They offered both brunch menu as well as regular lunch menu. Was a bit disappointed as I wanted to get some of the newly offered apps we had tried at a Unilocal event but discovered they don’t offer until after 4 pm. So I ordered the bang bang tacos and enjoyed although menu says they come on crunchy tacos, but these came with soft flour shells. Others in our party ordered the ahi tuna sashimi which came with wasabi and pickled ginger and the Kobe beef burger. Home made chips as the side was ok. Service was adequate and food was ok but very glad I had $ 50 gift card as our meal for 4 came to over $ 60 before tip. Over priced burgers imo. Will return when they offer bar bites.

Gutes Fischlokal, alles absolut frisch. genügend Parkplätze vorhanden. Empfehlungen: Vorspeisen: Bang Bang Shrimp, tossed in a creamy spicy sauce, Singapore Calamari, flash fried with peppers + sweet asian sauce, Hauptspeise:Pecan Parmesan Crusted Rainbow Trout with artichoke hearts, fresh basil + lemon butter. Ganze Speisekarte ist im Internet. Besser vorher Plätze reservieren, immer gut besucht.
