The real test of an Italia Restaurant is their meatballs. This owner pulls the old New York Italian trick and soaks them on water to make them bigger. Sorry, but that’s just not cool. Food was simply bad. Stale rolls and poor food. You can however stop there to go to the bathroom. The door is in the back. It’s dirty but it’s free. That’s the only good value here. What happened to Nino’s the lunch genius. Come back!!!

Wonderful food, excellent service and a very nice owner — what more could you ask for? Portions are huge! Our party of four had a pepperoni pizza — delicious authentic Italian with a nice spicy pepperoni; baked ziti — huge bowl, delicious sauce and tons of cheese; lasagna — again, a huge portion, perfectly al dente, deep dish deliciousness and their stuffed grouper special which was the highlight of it all. Beautiful piece if grouper stuffed with shrimp, crab, mushrooms, onions and other amazingness over fettuccini in a delicious Alfredo sauce. The waiter was superb, staying on top of refills and questions with a lovely wine bottle service at the beginning of the meal. Garlic rolls were warm, soft and had just the right amount of garlic and oil. Do yourself a favor if you’re in the area and give this place a try, you won’t regret it!

Had their pasta bolognese. Should have left when they deliverd stale rolls to the table. The Caesar salad was unimpressive and uninspiring. The bolognese tasted nothing like it. It was a too-heavy tomato paste taste that had been re-heated way too many times and on the verge of burnt. Not at all a light, chunky bolognese sauce. So, to sum up, for an Italian restaurant, they did absolutely nothing right! There are mutiple other places to spend your dining dollars. Please do not waste your time or money on this place. I would have received better pasta sauce from a non-Italian specialized restaurant.
