Fabulous meal! Service is fast and friendly and the portions are humongous. The drinks in the extra large mason jars are a nice touch. We had a nice lunch and my 7 year old boy gobbled up his spaghetti and meatball. Warning, even though it is on the kids menu the dish is adult size. The breakfast croissant was a little hard to eat but was very good. The bacon in the sandwich was amazing. We came here for the key lime pie, which is a favorite of my daughter and it didn’t disappoint. It was creamy and balanced with a very thick graham cracker crust. All in all delicious!

McGregor Café is definitely one of those hidden gems of Fort Myers(except maybe it’s not so hidden anymore). A local favorite of those that live in the McGregor area, this place is always packed during the weekends for brunch. They don’t have a lot of staff working, so please be patient if you see them all running around like chickens with their heads cut off. The restaurant itself is small, but they have a fairly large outdoor seating area. Don’t decide on what you want to order until you’ve heard the quiche of the day – the spinach, bacon & ricotta is my favorite! I’ve never been disappointed with my dishes here. The ‘home fries’ are delicious, and they always cook their bacon so it’s extra crispy(my favorite kind of bacon!). As my friend said, this place is trendy as(insert expletive) – they serve your drinks is mason jars! Can you get any cooler than that?! Definitely a place I’d suggest to everyone, including snowbirds who want to get a true taste of Florida living and ‘The City of Palms’. The drive to McGregor Café is beautiful and will remind you of ‘old Florida’. DOGLOVERS: McGregor Café allows you to bring your dogs to eat at the outdoor area! They’ll even give Fido a bowl of water to sip on :)

Such friendly staff and excellent prices. The outdoor seating is really pretty in the old oak trees. Indoor seating is cozy and quaint too. The mimosas were fun for a girls brunch. I’ve only been twice, but each time is better than the last. The quality and service don’t change. Love this place. Just wish it was a little closer to home.

Came here around noon to have lunch with my friend. We ate on the patio. She ordered the spinach omelet with fries and I got the scrambled eggs with extra cheese and bacon. Everything was super delicious! The weather was absolutely perfect and our waitress, Darcy, was a delight! We’ll definitely be coming back!

Quaint little café on McGregor Blvd always had cars in parking lot so we stopped for dinner. Live this place. Ate outside in courtyard. Very warm service, food was great. Son did not care for Eggplant because they left skin on but all else was fine. Not much of wine selection for menu options but I am a bit of a wine snob so might not matter to some. I had North Atlantic Cod, cooked perfect, wife had Marcella. Salads very fresh as well, in house made Balsamic was good, bread very good as well. This place is a winner.

I live very close and frequent this restaurant. The food has never disappointed but some of the waitresses have been stiff as a board and even awkward to give an order to. Definitely still recommend.

Great food, quick service. The outside area is awesome and shaded, and they were able to get us seated quickly. The food was awesome — I recommend the omelet and also the cinnamon raisin French toast. As a side note, I loves the mason jars as cups so creative and home-y. Great local brunch spot overall.

Good food and I like the fact that there is outside seating so that you can smoke if you want. Somebody on here complained about the smoking. That’s what an outside café is for. If you don’t like it eat inside. As for the person who said refills in a to go cup was $ 2 that is highly exaggerated. Yes they do charge you $.25 for a to go cup and yes I do think it’s a little ridiculous but it’s not two dollars.

Phenomenal! We chanced upon this wonderful little restaurant after a visit to the Ford and Edison Estates. Everything was excellent, starting with the grilled bread and beautifully seasoned olive oil dip. I had the veal Marsala and was impressed to find that as much care had gone into the preparation of the vegetable sides as the main course. In fact, the mashed potatoes were the best I’ve ever had! The wine list is well thought out and we enjoyed an excellent and reasonably priced bottle. We will be back!

McGregor Café was a great breakfast stop. Definitely would come again. I got the western omelette which came with home fries and rye toast plus I added a side of sausage links. The drinks come in a mason jar which is fun. Portions were large and quality was good. The atmosphere was special — we sat under a canopy of trees and palms which was very pleasant. I would love to try McGregor for lunch sometime.

I arrived for lunch on May 9 around 2:00. Due to such fantastic weather my boyfriend & I decided to sit outside. We were promptly greeted by Bridget who was friendly and suggested wonderful specials. Through her suggestion I tried the Lobstercake Salad and I’m glad I did! It was fantastic and topped with a refreshing salsa over mixed greens. We finished with the delicious Key Lime Pie and the crust was perfection. Thank you Bridget for such a fantastic lunch!
