Great concept. The hostess was very friendly. The waitress/bartender was very attentive but kind of ditzy what with the gum chewing and a little standoffish. My order came but no utensils. By the time I got silverware my food was cold! $ 6.00 for a small order of fries??? They had obviously been sitting under a heat lamp for a while. Waitress didn’t make me feel really welcome. Not a good value. Not sure if I’ll be back.

We were greeted immediately by the hostess. Seated in the bar, server was Tiffany. She was terrific! Gave us a great overview of the menu. Came back often, and made us feel very welcome. Pros; craft beers good burgers, awesome staff. Cons; the patron was pretty high @ $ 12.50.

Second time in a row for horrible service. Bummer. I liked their food. Pretty much empty on a Friday night, assuming others have had the same experience. This time, no one even came over to our table of 5. And like I said, it was almost empty. We Left to find another restaurant and no one even noticed we were leaving. When I told the hostess we were leaving, she shrugged her shoulders and said«oh». This location will be closed in a few months. It’s not rocket science people.

Went for lunch on a Thursday. They weren’t very busy and our service was good. Interesting décor, nice server, food was ok. I got the American cheese burger with fries. It was just a typical cheese burger with fries and not really anything to write home about. I also got one of their special sodas. I chose the orange cream one, it was warm even though it had ice. Overall I can’t complain about the service but it’s not a place I would say«hey lets go to Bagger Daves!» If we decided to eat out.

This was my first time visiting. I had the blackened Mahi Mahi burger, which was pretty good and paired well with the guacamole on it, surprisingly. I loved the hand cut fries, though, along with the buttermilk ranch dip to go along with it. The atmosphere was really good, and notably the music playing in the background. I ordered the buttered noodles with Parmesan cheese on them for the kids. Both kids did not like it. I tried it and didn’t care for it either, but they devoured their grilled cheeses and loved the fries, too. They also loved the model train circling around overhead. Our waitress was very friendly. She was attentive and very good about removing plates and checking in on us. I will definitely visit again.

We were so entertained by some of the bad reviews and the restaurant’s responses that we had to check it out for ourselves on our way through town. The buns were not«soggy», the burgers were properly seasoned, we got more than«literally 10 fries», the beer was not warm, the service was not apathetic. In fact the service was great, the place was clean, and the food was well above average. No complaints here.

Our food was good. I had the Train Wreck burger bowl, which was very good. The fries were ok. My wife had a Crispy Cheddar burger, which was good as well. What was disappointing was the service. Not really sure what happened, but it really took a long time for everything and it wasn’t terribly busy. Drink refills didn’t happen, so just a little disappointed.

My husband and I came for dinner on a Thursday night. My husband got a create your own burger and I got the American burger. Food came out quickly. We both asked for medium and the medium was very pink be sure to get well or medium well if you don’t want it red. My burger was good my major complaint was soggy bottom bun. Also if you get pineapple on a burger it is Canned(not fresh as we were told). Our service was great and accurate and helpful. Fries were great also.

Went on a Monday and got served flat beer and cold chili. My salad lettuce was bitter, too. I sent the chili back and was asked if I wanted free desert. Uhm, no. Just a better bowl of chili and a Bartender with the ability to hold a discussion, thank you. Will not be back.

Location was nice. Service was adequate, but could have been better. Waitress could have been a bit more attentive. Nothing overly special about our service or meal stood out. I opted for a blackened mahi-mahi burger… which was pretty good… except it could have been warmer. Others in our party of six ordered create your own burgers and sliders. All were okay. Sweet potato chips were flavorful and crispy. Stop by for a visit if different types of burgers are you thing. Your experience might be similar or perhaps things will be different for you.

Just stopped by and had a Bloody Mary and the New cheese dip. First time at Bagger Daves and loved it. The dip was delicious! The bloody Mary’s were awesome. I had the moonshine Bloody Mary and my fiancé had the vodka. I prefer the vodka. Love the atmosphere, drinks, and food:)

Not somewhere I would recommend to someone looking for a great burger. Wife ordered just salad and coffee and was delivered a salad and water. Never returned with a coffee, waitress was to busy talking about her last nights adventure while my 11 year old listened to her loud recreation of the past nights events. She never returned to check on us until she came back to ask if we were ready for our check. Burger was okay, but found that the huge bun made it much too large to eat without silverware. Not a favorite I would return to any time soon.

Bagge Dave’s is a comfortable restaurant with modern furniture and Big High Def TV’s. The team here in Fort Wayne is a high energy team all seeking to make One’s time there extremely pleasant. The Food is worth coming back again. However, Kitchen speed is normally SLOW, be sure to be patient when waiting for your meal. I have ate here with as few a 3 people and as many as 100: the service speed never improves, just slow and steady.

Beautiful place. Dark woods. Iron rivets. Modern feel. If the burgers were as good as the décor, I’d be back… but they weren’t. Overpriced. Under-seasoned and super greasy(like used 5 napkins on one burger greasy). I ordered the Cheesy Bacon Burger and the toppings were an excellent combination. Instead of just a cheese slice, it was a parmesan cheddar crisp and it was delicious. But the burger itself was plain. No salt. No pepper. Nada. And at $ 10.50 for a burger and(literally 10 fries), I’m gonna pass on a return visit. And you should too.

The burgers/chicken sandwiches were so good. The service was also good. This place is nice and clean great customer service. Food came pretty fast. The only problem I see w/this place is that they need to offer smaller portions for kids or a kids menu. The give tootsie rolls w/ur bill.

Went here with a girlfriend and we were on a mission to find some awesome bloody Mary’s and burgers, and boy did we hit the jackpot! Their bloody Mary’s come with this amazing seasoning(which we don’t know the recipe because it was secret… Dang!), pepper jack cheese, a pickle spear, and bacon. It was so delicious we wanted 10 more! We both decided on building our own burger which was a fun adventure all on its own. The 4oz burger filled me up pretty well with the side of fries and drink, and the server was very informative and actually hilarious the entire time! There were good vibes all around and the service was awesome from the moment we walked in! Definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for a fun relaxing environment with great drinks and delicious juicy burgers!

First trip was underwhelming. Went back on a whim and was so impressed. Not sure what went wrong w first trip but I’m a fan now. Great variety of burgers. Very affordable, especially if you go with the 4 oz patty instead of the 8 oz, which I found plenty filling. Fries have become my favorite. On par with 5 Guys and Penn Station. Super family friendly place. Also good offering of craft beer.

Good atmosphere and friendly service. Spicy artichoke dip was very good but a little cold. I created my own burger(4oz) and got sweet potato chips. Burger was really good and juicy but my Bf’s 8oz was dry and not cooked to order and pretzel bun was dense. His normal fries were soggy but still good enough to take home. My chips were chewy but still had flavor. The stout and wheat ales on tap were really good. However! If 5 guys burgers and fries served beer I dont think place would be in business.

Initially my first experience at Bagger Dave’s was extremely above par, especially for a burger place in the Fort Wayne area. They had just opened up recently, and I went along with my family to try them out. The Trainwreck burger that I had at that time was proper temperature, well seasoned with fresh prepared toppings that added a fitting melody without one flavor overpowering another. Along with this I had a side of fries that too, were very good, and at the time they had Sun King on tap, which compared to prices around the area, was about standard. My second visit to Bagger Dave’s, for which I am writing this review for, was last night and could not have been more drastic of a change. We went in around 6PM, so the restaurant was not very busy, maybe 3 or 4 other tables other than us, despite this our hostess, who was clearly on one of her first shifts of working, had to cover for our server for quite awhile until our actual server finally came out for our order. During our entire time there we only saw our server 3 times, once for our order, again before we had our food to exchange a drink mistake, and once more for the bill. This time the Trainwreck Burger was an absolute trainwreck. The sauteed mushrooms on the burger were past their prime, the lettuce limp and soggy, the Thousand Island dressing, for which the burger is touted for, was almost nonexistent. The burger itself was exceptionally bland, it did not seem to have been seasoned beyond whatever the grill had left on it from the previous cook. Out of all the ingredients on the burger, the bun was the only thing that really had any lasting taste, and I could not have been more disappointed. The rest of my family’s orders were along the same lines, the BBQ chicken sandwich, and Turkey burger were both overcooked to a stringy marinated rubber. We had a Classic American burger with our order as well, which remained to be a decent, but by no means worth the price experience. Naturally you would assume that based on our experience with our orders, we would have said something or sent it back, etc. However upon our server finally returning to us to give us the check, she glanced at our less-than-half-eaten entrees, and asked us if we’d like a box. We replied«Umm, no…» expecting for some inquiry as to if we didn’t like our meals, instead getting an «Ok» before she zoomed off again never to be seen again. If our server had been more attentive, and she had caught us at any point while we were attempting to eat our meals, then perhaps we could have exchanged our orders, or done something of the sort to improve our experience, but we were not given this chance. I’ve been in the restaurant business for a few years, and our server was not given that many tables to dictate that kind of shoddy service, perhaps 2 more had arrived before we had left. Along with this, the Two Hearted Ale I ordered was nearly the price of my burger, which is absolutely ridiculous considering we’ve sold it for much less in other restaurants, and you can pick up a 4 pack for a few dollars more in just about any liquor store, its not a rare beer. From what it seems, Bagger Dave’s isn’t putting in the same degree of care and pride in their food and service compared to when they were right out of the gate, and what makes that all the more disappointing is the high degree of potential the restaurant once had.

We went for dinner tonight. We got there at 5:20 and was able to get a high top in the bar. We tried a chocolate shake and a vanilla malt– both were great. I ordered the bbq bacon cheeseburger with fries. I wasn’t crazy about the bbq sauce nor the fresh cut fries. My husband ordered the all american cheeseburger with twisted mac n cheese. He enjoyed his burger. We both enjoyed the twisted mac n cheese! :) Next time I would try another sandwich(they have plenty of choices) and the chips. Or just get the mac n cheese. It seemed like everyone was seated at once. We waited about 30 – 40 min for the food. At least we were in the bar and had plenty of tv’s to watch. Our waitress was great though… her name was Jackie G. She was very attentive.
