I haven’t been back up to Fort Wayne to see family for awhile, so it threw me for a loop when, as we talked about ordering pizza, I found out that the old PH location farther east on Illinois was closed and that this was the new go-to on the block. But oh well, what’s the difference? Turns out it’s a good difference. We placed an online order and I left a bit later to pick it up here. Upon arrival I was informed that one of the pizzas had experienced some problems in the oven and they were running a new one through at that moment. I was impressed that they cared enough about their product to make a new one when the other wasn’t even that messed up. They could have easily passed it off as fine and I never would have known the difference. Seriously well done, guys. So, Fort Wayne traded in an old location that was hard to get in and out of with too little parking for a take-out only location, complete with drive-thru and a great staff to boot? Seems like a more than fair trade to me. I definitely know where we’ll be ordering from next time I’m in town and craving something from the Hut.
