I can definitely say that the quality and service has disappointed me the last couple of visits here. So after the super bowl my boyfriend and I decide to go find a late night bite. They’re open until midnight on Sunday’s so we arrived a little before 10:30pm. No hostess in the front to greet us. So we stood there for about a minute then just opted for the bar. Mind you, there was a one single table in the whole dining room so there was no reason why a hostess shouldn’t have been in the front. Once we found our seats at the bar we were greeted by the bartender. She was very pleasant when she greeted us. We told her we wanted to order food as well and she informed us the kitchen would be closing in 30 minutes. My boyfriend was very much discouraged now because he immediately feels like our food will come out in a rush and not prepared properly. I ordered the duck wings, as I usually do, and the prosciutto wrapped meatloaf. My boyfriend ordered a burger, I believe it was the show gun burger or something along those lines. I asked her to just put the order in and we didn’t care if it came out together. Once we got our food I took a bite of my meatloaf and instantly noticed it was lukewarm. The mash potatoes were even cold. I tried another bite and it was just tough and dry. I just spit it out on my plate. The presentation is very inconsistent. I’ve had before a thick piece of meatloaf and on this occasion is was two or three pieces that were thinly sliced. It was not good. I bite into the duck wings and those were what saved the meal for me. My boyfriend rushed to finish his burger and I just boxed up my wings and left the plateful of cold meatloaf to return to the trash where it belonged. We got our check and left. Sad to say but we won’t be back anytime soon. It’s a shame because it is so close to the house. This establishment has lost its standard for quality food and service.

This place is hit or miss for me. I’ve had some really great stuff here and some really bad stuff. I will say this, the staff is always super nice and helpful! They really make you feel welcomed. I recommend the pork chops, the duck wings and the chocolate cake. Really good stuff! Stay away from the meatloaf! It’s dry, tasteless and gross. Not just bad, I mean take it off the menu bad. Inside is large, open and very relaxing feel. Great place to try for sure.

I have been to this establishment about 4 – 5 times. I was impressed when they first opened with the happy hour appetizers. Unfortunately, the initial HH specials were quickly changed after a few weeks of the grand opening and they jacked the prices up. The wait staff is hit or miss. Ambience is nice. My last visit was 2 Friday’s ago and the hostess and waiter were both clueless. Beer line was clogged, but the bartender still served the beer… Really, you’re a beer tavern? When it was brought to her attention she stated it had been happening a lot. What? The waiter attempted to charge us for the beer. The last 2 – 3 times here have been more and more disappointing. If you go, I would advise during happy hour only. We won’t be back after this last debacle.

I’ve always wondered why such a nice building was always half empty on the weekends and completely empty during the week. I finally figured it out. The food is terrible. On my first visit I had a pepperoni pizza, that’s it, nothing fancy. Simply the worst pizza I’ve ever had and that includes frozen. I thought I should give them another chance, so a month later I had a cheese burger, again standard fare. I’ve had better hamburgers at Burger King. Not going to throw away money on a third try. Unfortunately for them Chilis, that Bastian of fine dining, is right next door.

Restaurant is really cool inside with a big brick wall and wonderfully cozy modern yet rustic fireplace. The seating is great with leather and tweed couch like booths. Too many televisions to count so you’re always entertained. Menu is ok. I had a hard time finding something I wanted because a lot of it is bar food. We got the blue and white chips; blue cheese crumbles chips with white queso. Those were really good! I didn’t care too much for my grill cheese with tomato soup. The tomato soup tasted more like carrot soup and the grilled cheese was greasy and the bacon was rubbery. I sent it back and the manager took it off my bill. The server was really polite about it and didn’t give me a hard time so the customer service here is really good and the restaurant is managed well. This won’t stop me from coming back. My husband loves his burger so…

I came here for a quick bite before watching a movie. It was 9:30pm and brick house closes at 2am(bar) and probably stop serving food like midnight? I assume. Walked in, no host at the door, server came over quickly though, and sat us down. Menu is very extensive lots of different foods. They have a special everyday! Ordered drinks first. Drinks came out quickly. Was ready to order since we went on limited time, waiting around for our server, I believe she was outside on the patio serving customers… I was a server once and I understand late at night staff is low and you’re basically running around. Places our order and we let her know we were watching a movie pretty soon. Ordered something new on the menu which was the bison pizza and a side of Cajun fries. Bison pizza was okay, bison meat was sliced and places on the pizza, it looked like giant semi thicker pepperoni. Pizza is a good size for 2 people. Cajun fries good. So FYI if you come here later in the evening don’t come if you’re on limited time, maybe 2 – 3 servers after 10pm, they could be busy, and it maybe a minute or so to get to ya! Great drink choices!

I have visited several times now. And have yet to be disappointed! The service is alway fantastic, I mean really some of the best. I had Matt wait on me today who was amazing. The last bartender I had I wanna say Ashley(looked like a cross between Sandra Bullock and Anna Kendrick) was amazing as well, attention to detail, enjoyable to converse with and made a killer old fashioned. The atmosphere is great as well as the music selection. The food is no disappointment either. The bison burger and bison pizza were delicious. Never a disappointment!!!

Really enjoyed the place. The hostess was very friendly and our waiter, Ty was really helpful and friendly. The Zucchini Curls; delicious appetizer and way more than 2 people can handle if ordering entrees. The fish in the Fish & Chips was actually better than Gordon Ramsay’s Pub in Vegas but the fries were soggy and not worth eating, glad I really only wanted the fish. The BBQ Salmon was really tasty but the potatoes that came with it were not done, but did have a good flavor. They seem to have a problem with potatoes. Great selection of beer and good wine and cocktail options. Even with sub-par potatoes, it was still an enjoyable dining/drinking experience.

A decent experience… The food was good but the portions were pretty small, even for appetizers. We tried the Moroccan dip and the lettuce wraps. Their happy hour kind of sucks, but they do have a lot of local favorites on tap as well as local spirits. I will have Brick House again, but I am not just dying to go back.

This Brick House is markedly better than the Grapevine location. The atmosphere, the service, the crowd — basically everything was an improvement. The restaurant is dark and spacious, with a lounge area near the bar where you can kick back and watch the huge screens if you’re into that sort of thing. I prefer to read in bars, and Brick serves that purpose nicely. Attentive service, great pricing on beers, and music played at an unobtrusive level all make for great reading conditions. This location does not give off the dude bro, breastaurant vibe and I was definitely not the only female in there, so hooray for that! The food is still pricey, there’s just no getting around it. I will say their grilled cheese was worth every damn penny, though. We’ve already been here a couple of times, and once the terrible construction outside the restaurant calms down I’m sure we’ll be there even more often.

I’m not sure if it’s something in the Earth’s alignment, but SERVICE has been the sticking point in almost every one of my recent reviews, and this review is no exception. 1P staff lunch — sat on patio — 90 degrees outside and they have the fire going — way too hot for that.(Waiter’s response when we asked about turning it off: «Nah, but at least it doesn’t smell like butane like it did the other day.») Waiter bounced — literally — while he talked and walked and seemed to be unable to stay focused. Drink orders were slow to be brought to the table and refills were long overdue by the time they were brought. Lemons had so many seeds in them my staff was spitting them out of their tea. At 1:35P, when our order was taken, told waiter we needed separate checks and I needed to be paid out and gone by 2P. Food arrived at 1:45P, I handed him my credit card and kudos to him for getting my check out immediately after. Calamari was good — nice twist with jalapenos — and staff’s turkey club looked good. My wedge salad lacked… enough dressing… pizzazz…and enough dressing. Left my melted down Diet Coke on the table with a reasonable tip, but will take a lot of coaxing to get me back to somewhere without drink refills in 90 degree heat WITH a fire going and slow to order service… and not enough dressing. ***Follow up*** Spoke with my staff who stayed. They had to ask for their checks twice, waiter disappeared for 15 – 20 min at a stretch and checked back on refills again after everything was melted. They left at 2:50P.

I have been to several Brick House locations and this is the one I have enjoyed the most. Relatively new to the area, it is a great place for many occasions. Diners have a choice of regular tables, booths, or couches as wells as an outdoor area. Two fireplaces(one inside, one outside) make for a cozy atmosphere. We opted for couch seating which made for a very comfortable night. With over a dozen TVs that can be changed at your request, it is a great place to go if you want to catch a particular game. The servers were friendly and attentive, the food was tasty and reasonably priced, and the volume level in the room was low enough for you to enjoy your outing regardless of your reason for being there.

45 minutes for a burger and chicken sammach. I think that says everything. Almost 10 minutes later… just got my chickey sammich served in a pile of grease like it was made in a hurry and i think its still clucking because the meat is pink. My fries are inedible from being soaked in the grease from the sandwich. UGH.

Second time here. Replacement for the old disfunt Macaroni Grill. The décor, the waiters were very hospitable. Both times on weekends place wasn’t that crowded so hope it makes it and the damn never-ending construction on I 35! First time was drunken meatballs… absolutely divine. Second time fish and chips. Good, nothing mind blowing. Prices reasonable. I would go again for sure.

I really liked the atmosphere and décor here. Super cute and comfy couch benches. Nice big fire place and tv’s are everywhere. Tonight we tried the drunken chops and the chicken fried steak(cfs). The cfs was good, tasty breading. The only complaint was the mini serving of cheddar mashed potatoes. The drunken chops were so darn good. The were two huge chops with a flavorful glaze. My chops were so impressive I almost over looked the fact that i had mashed potatoes as well. Both of our plates had sample size servings of potatoes. We also had the duck wraps. They were pretty darn good. Overall, not a bad experience.

The food here is pretty freaking tasty. The burgers are all amazing. All of my family has had at least one of the burgers, so trust me on this. The pizza is fairly tasty as well. Pizza is just about my favorite thing and this is very good. The meat plate or meat and cheese plate or whatever is just about enough to feed a group of three who have an appetite. I will admit that we all pretty much pigged out on it and very much enjoyed it. I’ve also had the chicken and waffles. That stuff was incredibly amazing. Mm mm good. The ambiance was almost enough to convince me to continue coming back by itself. The«booths» are actually couches and in the winter months they are seated next to an open fire. How often are you going to get to enjoy that? My sister was amazed when she visited. If you aren’t awed by sitting on couches while eating, there are some pretty clever slogans and/or sayings on the walls and all around the restaurant. Like the one near the bar. «Tap that glass!!!» Yeah, any of you who have any access to the Internet know how funny that one is. So far I find this restaurant a great addition to the area. Om nom nom.

Delicious new bar/pub in Fossil Creek. Stopping here on the weekend, we entered the doors to find a very chic interior… not quite what I was expecting from a bar or pub. Most of the seating area included small couches facing each other, with a multitude of flatscreen TVs hanging from the ceiling. Couple the seating with a cheerfully cracking fireplace, and you get a very inviting space. Now, on to the most important aspect… the food. We picked stuffed olives as the appetizer. Arriving on a small steel platform and comprised of a few pieces, the olives were quite tasty. Compared to the other appetizers, definitely not something you can make a meal out of, but still pretty delicious. The main courses arrived fairly quickly. I had the fried chicken/rib combo(a daily special, available on Sundays-I believe). The chicken was exceedingly tender, and remarkably flavorful. The ribs… juicy and the bbq sauce slathering them must have been made in heaven. So why not a 5⁄5? Well, the service was rather slow, and it was a bit difficult flagging down our server. Still, since we visited near opening, I expect that these issues will have been resolved.
