[EDIT12÷22÷14: THISLOCATIONHASCLOSED] — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — - Screamingly delicious Phở fare! I’m probably far more easy to please when it comes to my dining experience; but the great food, spacious room and attentive service make Wonder Phở a consistently great experience. Located in a strip mall, this is a bright and open little restaurant in the heart of Fountain Valley with terrific service and savory menu options. Our greeter, who is usually our server, is so consistently welcoming and polite. There is a TV along the back wall, usually turned to sports or news. The atmosphere is bright and airy with well-spaced tables, not dim with crowded tables butted up against one another. The Phở bowls are fantastic and the BBQ pork(in fried rice or on the side) is sublime. My kids load up on shrimp kabobs and veggies and they have many Thai Tea and boba options to whet your whistle. Okay, here it comes: I dare to say that Wonder Phở is simply… Amay Zing!(pun avoided!)

Wait… a Vietnamese restaurant that delivers?! Even my Vietnamese roommate was shocked. Plus I ordered through Eat24 on Unilocal! So easy and convenient! Was feeling a little under the weather so I wanted soup. Ended up getting a rice dish instead because I didn’t want a big bowl of noodles. But apparently, the rice dishes comes with a whole bed of rice instead of just a scoop like most places. I guess others wouldn’t complain much about it, but I don’t eat a lot of rice. Anyway, I «ordered» the steamed rice with shrimp, egg rolls and meat. you can choose between chicken, pork or beef. I chose grilled chicken. You have the option to add seasoned rice for $ 0.50 more or fried rice for $ 2.00 more, so I substituted for seasoned rice. Then I also added a side of broth for an additional $ 0.75. My fiancé got the large order of Wonder Phở. For apps, we went with the Pork Spring Rolls $ 4.25. Two minutes after I ordered through Unilocal,I get a call from the restaurant. They’re out of seasoned rice. But they kindly offered to substitute it for fried rice instead. 10 minutes later… the delivery man was at our front door! Wow! Talk about quick service! Our food… it was good. Nothing spectacular. I pretty much ordered a box full of rice with a tiny piece of chicken, and three small over grilled shrimp skewer(–_-) Yet… I ate the meats, and some of the fried rice and gave the rest to the man. The pork spring roll was good, the egg rolls were ok. The man enjoyed his phở with egg noodles and finished everything else I didn’t eat lol The service is great, price average and food could use a little improvement. Would give them another chance whenever I have another craving for Vietnamese.

I must start by sharing that they DELIVER(within 3 miles)! I saw this restaurant«Grand Opening» sign awhile shopping at 99 Ranch Market and got a chuckle from the name. I’m a sucker for good deals, and saw a deal on DoubleTake and had to snag it. However, I’m not able to apply my deal in delivery service, I still ordered, through Unilocal.I love how convenient and incredibly easy it is! Good always arrive steaming hot and fast! Today, was my first experience sitting at the restaurant and was immediately seated. The gal was extremely attentive and got our order on point. I’ve tried a good amount from their menu and would highly recommend the Nem Cuon(Spring Rolls) as appetizer, the phở is pretty legit, and also the bun(vermicelli) dishes.

Very yummy phở! I was craving phở and wanted to have it to-go and eat at home. The convenience of online ordering was great. I ordered the phở with rare steak and brisket and hot tea as my drink. Loved them both! The people who helped me out were very friendly and smiling, so great customer service as well. Will be back and reccomend eating the phở!

All I gotta say is WOW! I agree with the other post that not only is the food delicious and the price is right but it’s got fantastic service too — I really don’t like going to some of these Phở places that rush you around like a wild ride from hell and most the time I can’t even get a glass of water without flagging people down. The Vietnamese have not yet mastered customer service or getting the dishes all on the table at once. This place goes beyond that and can rival any other restaurant above it’s class. The whole experience was soothing and the female proprietor is nice on the eyes too. Super kind service … I am now a fan of this place and the Phở dishes they serve. The spring rolls are a plus plus too. There is a big screen to watch whatever they have playing in there … it was soccer this time.

Craving for phở and was searching Eat24 and came across this place… Ordered fried tofu shrimp skewer rice in a clay pot and their large phở speciality. Delivery was prompt and accurate. Added siracha to the phở after assembling everything all together that came in separate packages. Wish the broth was hotter but it did it’s job. The meat tripe and tendons and meatball definitely was less than expected with the amount of noodles that came. The rice clay pot in a rice will be lunch for tomorrow. The shrimp side was a skewer with 3 shrimp on it and the fried tofu lack crisp and I wondered if there should have been a dipping sauce to accommodate it. Prices pretty standard for a phở place. Everything ordered with tax and free delivery came to $ 20 bucks. Probably a different experience when eating in person but I appreciate the speedy delivery and quick fix.

Great value, good phở, and the lady that works here is super friendly! It’s conveniently located away from all the madness that is Little Saigon. If you want to avoid wait times, old asian people yelling, and mad traffic, go here!

Disappointing. I really wanted to like it because it’s across the street from my parents’ house, but no such luck. I’ll start with the good things: :) Attentive and polite service. No thrown menus or muttering at you in Vietnamese here. :) Clean and nice décor. :) Food came out very quickly, though it makes me wonder if it was all pre-made! :) They deliver M-F with a $ 20 minimum. And now all of the sad stuff: :(As nice as the waiter was, he was clueless. Every item that we ordered, whether by number or by English name, he had to look at the menu to see what we were trying to order. I also asked him what the seasoned rice was(some rice dishes are listed with seasoned rice, and for others you can pay 50 cents to upgrade to seasoned rice). He had no idea what it was, asked someone else who also didn’t know, and he said that they only have white rice. Totally weird. We also asked if there were lunch specials(since there is a sign outside with lunch specials) — he didn’t know, and when he asked someone else, she said no and didn’t explain at all. :(The water tasted funny. Like… smooth? I don’t know how to describe it. Didn’t taste like normal tap or bottled water. :(The phở broth was SALTY. And I must tell you that I am the kind of girl who likes to crush up ramen and just eat it with the salt packets. I’m always craving salty foods and soups. I can count on one hand the number of times in my life when I’ve said something was too salty… and this is one of them. :(The grilled pork and rice that I had was fine. A tolerable dish but lacked the good flavor that I’m used to. I’m sorry to say I won’t be back to this place — we’ve got a couple great places in the area, and although the ambiance may not be as nice as Wonder Phở, at least the food is good.

Great rich broth, vermicelli cooked just right, grilled pork was decent, crispy egg rolls good, clean and fresh vegetables and mint, reasonable price. Haven’t tried the spring rolls, crispy shrimp, other meats, shrimp skewers, rare beef, or shaken beef; but they all looked good. Best Phở closer than Little Saigon to Huntington Beach.

This place is pretty great! Not only do they have great food that’s cheap, but they also have amazing service. Every time I find a legit phở place I get the«what are you doing here white boy» look(totally worth it for good food). This place didn’t have any of that!!! The staff was super nice to everyone in the restaurant. The menu offered a lot of other option other than phở, even salads and Thai. Which is nice if the people you are going with don’t want soup. The food was very good. The broth and meat weren’t too fatty and had good flavor. I’m totally coming back and recommend you try it.

I really enjoyed this place! They just opened recently and I was looking for a good bowl of phở for lunch, so I decided to give this place a try. They were very clean, the food tasted amazing, and I loved the atmosphere the restaurant had. Definitely going back many many times in the near future. Highly recommend it.

Yummy! I decided to come here with my bf because we wanted somthing close by. I’m glad we made this decision. I feel like this is the only phở place who asks«how is everything» and checks up on us. The workers here are extremely nice. They have a combo platter($ 9.99) which consists of 2 egg rolls and 1 spring roll with a choice of green ice tea or soda and you get to chose a main entrée that is listed on the sheet. The phở is pretty good. I will for sure come back here next time when I’m in the area.

Pretty good Vietnamese. But definitely much better in LA, maybe even in Huntington Beach. The flavors were not all there, and the bean sprouts and herbs were kinda cheap. We asked for more cilantro and mint. They brought 3 sprigs. And the noodles in the Phở were all balled up, which happens when you let the noodle sit in the bowl too long before adding the soup… Anyway, this place is a strong 3 out 5

Love, love, love it! This is one of my favorite places to visit regularly! The Phở is great and they have many other tasty choices on the menu as well. Their Bò lúc lac(Shaking Beef) is so tasty and always leaves me satisfied. It can be ordered with steamed or fried rice and I have enjoyed it both ways. I really love how the dinner come with a small salad and a small bowl of the phở broth, it really completes the meal. I usually order beef phở and the broth comes out at the right temp(not too hot). I really like that I can enjoy it immediately, instead of having wait for it to cool down. The flavor of the phở doesn’t seem to be that different from other places, but I don’t feel it has to. The flavor of the phở hits the spot for me. The interior is very nice, clean, cute and new. The prices are very reasonable for the quantity and quality of the food. The two women who work there are super cute and friendly every time. This is one of my favorite places to eat and I highly recommend it.

Love this new phở place so close to home. They do delivery, but the time I came in, I was coming to order take out. Fast service and delicious phở. It is pretty on par with the other phở places in fountain valley but miles closer for me, which is definitely a big big plus! Also I’m pretty sure the servings here for phở were a lot more than I usually get at pholicious and little Saigon. The Asian in me likes this.

Not the best… Just a typical phở place. It tasted a bit different than other phở places. Not sure if it’s better or worse lol But the portions areA LOT smaller than other phở places… The service is good. The price is decent. 6 – 8 per bowl Okay to try out . They’re showing the World Cup!

This place just opened a few months ago. It’s located in the Ranch Market shopping complex. We went there for an early dinner and the place was empty. Maybe not the best sign of things, but it was early. We sat down and the waitress was very nice. We ordered shrimp spring rolls and shrimp Phở. I ordered mine with the large cut noodles which was $.75 more. The food came out and the shrimp rolls were awesome! Very fresh and good flavor. The Shrimp Phở was good as well. The large cut noodles were okay. I should have just stuck to the regular noodles. On the window out front they have pictures of other items. I will definitely be back. It’s the best Phở place in the HB/Fountain Valley area. They had impeccable service and really good food. I would have given them 5 stars but there were employees eating at the table next to us which I didn’t think was appropriate when you have customers. I give it 4.5 stars.

Bright, airy, clean, tasty, fresh, pleasing to the eyes and the taste buds. My fellow foodie friend and I love to try new places. I couldn’t resist the invitation from Quinn to check this place out. I am adventurous and you never know what you might get. I was pleasantly satisfied with my #45 Wonder Phở– rare steak, brisket, flank, tripe, beefball and tendon. The broth excellent, my mouf is watering just typing about it. Sllslslsssssip. Hahahahah! Good looking out Quinn. Oh and dont for get that free glass of Green Iced Tea.

PHONO. It’s great to try new places… Unfortunately even being a new place(only open 2 weeks) the recipe and current flavors are beyond lacking and I can’t see this place staying open… The premise to all phở is the same, however this establishment would like to line item everything so you must order phở, bean sprouts, basil all separated… It’s a disappointment as the environment and the two ladies in charge are great… We will not be back
