Great wings, great beer, hot waitresses, a lot of tvs, and ‘Golden Tee’. Monday — Wednesday are the best prices for wings. Beers can be a little pricey though. They have other deals throughout the week which are decent too. Sort of a dingy sports bar, but not a hole in the wall. Can’t go wrong.

Love the wings, and Karen the bartender this is our football go to place! Love the atmosphere and the staff is always friendly to my husband and I. She knows our order and we never get bad service!

An institution that has not lost sight of what has made them great. They continue to provide the best beer list in the area and turn out quality food. The wings are second to none(especially if you order them extra crispy). You cannot beat the specials(if you can get a spot). The rest of the menu is excellent too. The burgers and sandwiches are usually something we get too. The beer list is overwhelming but don’t be afraid to ask for suggestions. I recently began sitting down at the bar and have only really started noticing how nice the bar truly is. Ye its a little small and in the summer you wished they had outdoor seating. But if you get a spot at the bar, well you won’t be complaining. Looking forward to my next beer.

Not the worst food I’ve had but so completely generically average that I don’t feel it should even get an average rating; if that makes sense. You can get the same quality, quantity and service at Applebee’s, Friday’s, Chilis… The«Chips» of fish & chips were really regular old fries. Even though on the menu they are literally in quotation marks«CHIPS» and even though when I asked the waitress who assured me they were the«you know, like, the big French fries» yes, I still got fries. The wings came in a soup of cheap hot sauce. They were over fried or more likely fried several times. And I hate to bring this up but I got very very ill that night. I do not have hard proof that it was from their food but instincts tell me that it was. They do have a craft-ish beer menu that might impress someone who just started drinking craft beer. Long Island at its most average.

Smells a little bit like a fraternity house and has a bit of a dingy bar feel. Much different atmosphere from the RVC location. Wings are good and beer is the main draw. No parking near the bar, so you have to find a spot on the street. Not the best Croxleys on LI.

Im going to keep this short, simply because theres not much to say… I went here this evening with a few friend’s. This was the first time here at this location, and most likely the last. The service was virtually non existing, our food was served cold, tasteless and with no utensils. We had to wait a good 5 – 6 minutes for an employee to be seen to even ask for something that should have been placed at our table when we were seated. Lastly, their so called«famous wings?» Were actually one of the worst ive had here in NY. Bottom line, this place lacks proper management, their pricey considering the food they serve is straight out the freezer, and the service might as well be self serve. Goodbye Croxleys!

Not impressed. I’m used to the much larger locations(Smithtown is my fav, Rockville centre is OK) so I was shocked to walk in to see it’s smaller than your local pub. Very small, cramped and loud blaring music. It was difficult to hold a conversation. Our 20 minute wait turned into about 40, which we spent outside inhaling massively unhealthy amounts of second hand smoke. Finally we got inside and seated! Our waitress started off ok. We ordered wings and sweet potato fries, the wings were small and over cooked, I guess for 30 cents I can’t really complain. — The Monday & Wednesday wing special is 20c/boneless, 30c/classic with a $ 5 drink minimum. — The sweet potato fries were actually pretty good, but the sauce it came with was vomit-worthy. The waitress then forgot about us after giving us the check. My friend and I literally joked about dining-and-dashing, if we weren’t honest people that’s exactly what would have happened and nobody would have noticed. We even attempted to give the check to the hostess when she returned to her stand but she couldn’t be bothered with taking our money — instead she just shook her head«no». I wouldn’t come back here.

Long wait for this location. I love the deal for Wings here. The Thai coconut and Korean bbq flavors are sweet and delicious here! They allow parents with their kids here but they don’t allow people under 21 even if they don’t plan to drink… I feel like it’s discriminatory and should not be like that. If you allow any minor with or without a family to the establishment, you should allow a minor with friends and who doesn’t even plan to drink to the establishment. This happened to us, and I felt like this wasn’t fair because we had called in advance to ask if know minors were okay and they said yes. When we got there, they didn’t let us in. smh… don’t say yes if you weren’t going to let us in! I’d go again for wings though. sometimes they’re strict on the $ 5 drinks minimum and sometimes they’re not in order for you to get the wings special.

I haven’t eaten here in a while. In the past I swore by their wings. Today the wings were on the drier side. The mac and cheese was eh. They slabbed on a square slice of cheese on top of it that was barely melted. The fries were the best thing we ordered. The quesidilla was also nothing special. I hope it was just our batch of wings that was dry because I definitely used to enjoy coming here.

I love this place!!! The service is always great(at least for me) and wings are amazing… if i could legally get married and have sex without getting wierd looks, it would be to these wings. I want them to have my babys so i can have tasty children and my tasty children can have their own tasty children and i would be a very happy full man. Just thinking out loud i can dream cant i? There is nothing on the menu i dont want to eat. Everything i have ordered is always amazing and now with the new flavors i am in a whole new world of food porno. Now they have cocktails happier camper here. Eat up and enjoy happy eattings

Street parking. I came here on Thursday at around 8PM for the boneless wings special. The ambience of this place is nice, dim lights, and a bar setting with some booths. I came with two other people and ordered ten 10 cents boneless wings and two raspberry iced teas to make up the drink minimum. The iced tea was really good but, unfortunately, the wings were not. I did not really want to finish them. But I guess that is what you get for $ 1.00 worth of wings. Overall, my entire meal cost about $ 7.

Me and a few girlfriends came here straight after work last Friday. Great selection of craft beers, especially in the IPA department! Our bartender was great, and let us sample a few brews we weren’t familiar with before committing to a whole glass. Their«free happy hour buffet» consisted of two trays filled with onion rings, mozzarella sticks, and kale dumplings. All of which were pretty good, but ran out pretty quickly and weren’t replenished. So we ordered some additional food — bbq pork sliders, spicy popcorn shrimp, and nachos. The jukebox was playing some of my favorite classic rock tunes by default, and reflected the type of crowd Croxley’s brings in: mostly groups of friendly older men in their mid-forties. It’s the type bar you’ll want to be a regular at, the kind where you feel right at home and can just chat with a friend for hours over a few drinks. Will definitely be returning for their special wings nights!

Went here three times! I can honestly say this place is amazing. I have had traditional classic wings, and boneless. Both are great. I’m still really interested in trying their other foods but every time I go I always get wings. and 10 cents for boneless and 20 cents for traditional??? YES! They have such a friendly staff and it feels so inviting inside. They also have great drinks and did a birthday request for my boyfriend(stuck a candle in some cake) :) BTW I’m not sure who made my long island iced tea but it was terrific!

It is your typical bar if you want to sit have beer and you cannot be $.10 wings! They have a happy and they carry their own brew, so you can take a jog of their beer home with you! The place is not posh, but it is great for hanging out after work. They have booths along the side when you walk in and there are some tables in the back of the bar so it is not just limited to booze hounds, you can bring your family and the kids to enjoy a meal. On some days they have a buffet nothing special but still you can’t beat free food. They also have plenty of TVs so you can sit and watch the game. Also talking for this place is not that bad. Although they do not have a parking lot, they work something out with the dentist office of the block where you can park there. Oh I almost forgot my recommendation. As far as wings go I normally order the Korean barbecue wings plus naked wings with extra hot sauce on the side. I consider myself a chicken wing aficionado/connoisseur and this place definitely has some of the better wings in the area.

The only upside to this place is the beers. and even they don’t taste right sometimes. the taps don’t always taste fresh. The service is only good on the weekends when they have 36 bartenders on staff. During the day… they have one bartender who is very unpleasant and rude. She served me multiple times and is honestly ruining that place. People sit at the bar and expect someone pleasant. smiling… happy to be there. They need to get some new bartenders in there. The wings are overrated. especially wing night. They are over-cooked. dried out. go elsewhere…

Been here so many times but stayed always by the bar during night. This time we came in for a brunch and the restaurant is surprisingly family friendly. Love the quietness during the time, less crowd, enjoying our tap beer with no disturbance. They have special wings offer for their appetizer and boy, the best, as expected . For our meal, their house burger is unbelievably one of the best I have tried. My husband enjoyed his buffalo burger as well. The beer serving size was huge for me but moderate for a beer fan like the husband. Pricing is moderate . I will be back.

I kinda wish there was a 3.5 star option because Croxleys is definitely not a 3, but I’m not quite sure it’s a 4 either. There’s a great beer selection here and most of the items on the menu(Wings, Irish Nachos, Mozzarella Sticks, etc.) are all on point. The Reese’s Peanut Butter Pie is legitimately one of the best things you will EVER have in your life. I’m not exaggerating or overstating. It’s eff’ing ridiculous how good these things are. With that said, I have reason to believe that the Croxley’s staff is hoarding the last stash of these things in their basement because I’ve reached out to numerous companies to no avail. Oh by the way… Yeah, I’m talking to you, Croxleys. Don’t think I didn’t realize that you tried using smaller wings on 10-cent wing nights during the summer. I’m guessing someone called you guys out on it because they magically became bigger two months later. I’m not pissed — Just know that I know. Staff is usually very friendly. The only time I make a face is when the girl at the front purposefully overshoots the wait time in hopes that you make her night easier by simply leaving. The wait time is basically 65% of what they tell you. Speaking of that front desk, can ya stop with this miserable«every member of your party has to show up» before you can be seated. Every group of friends has that one moron who’s always late because he’s waist deep into a 2-hour Youtube binge. The crowd can be a little… ‘suspect’ on 10 cent wing nights. But hey, when ya make things easy and affordable, everyone will start drifting in.

I kept hearing about this place, so I really wanted to try it. I came here with two of my girlfriends and we each ordered the Croxley Pumpkin Ale, 10 piece wings(I got the honey hot), and shared the Irish Nachos(french fries topped with mozzarella, bacon bits and scallion). The pumpkin ale was delicious. It even had cinnamon sugar on the rim of the cup. The wings, though crispy and soaked in sauce, was dry and not hot all all(there is an additional cost of $ 2 for a side of sauce). The fries were surprisingly on the bland side. The service was slow, even though we were seated immediately. Perhaps this was an «off day» for the bar. I would give, however, give them another chance :)

I’ve copied and pasted my review from Croxley’s Farmingdale here below and adjusted only the«Overall» score from 4 to 3, and service from 4 to 3. The«Will I go back» is also adjusted. Overall 3 stars Food 5 stars Service 3 Stars Atmosphere 4 stars Value 4 stars will I go back? Prefer Farmingdale location, but will definitely go back here to Franklin square if necessary. Food I am a wing connoisseur. If i go to a new restaurant, and wings are on the menu, I order. Croxley’s wings are the best I’ve had on Long Island. Their fries are cooked to perfection also, and their nachos are incredible. Service The one knock on the Franklin Square location of Crox is the wait for the food. Wait staff are top notch. But the kitchen(I think) is small, so you have to wait for your food. but when you get it, it’s piping hot and fresh. Atmosphere It’s a pub. people are watching sports. It’s loud. But it’s to be expected. Value Drinks are expensive, but if you go on the right night, your food is cheap. will I go back? Prefer Farmingdale location, but will definitely go back here to Franklin square if necessary.
