This is my favorite spot for a hamburger or fish sandwich. You will have a choice of fries or chips. Both are made fresh. The staff is excellent. The interior was recently painted and there is always parking. Great for parties.

My wife and I have eaten at all of the Bricks locations a few dozen times over the past few years, and have never eaten a bite that was anything less than scrumptious. Most restaurants with multi-page menus are marginal at best, not this one; from pasta to pizza, fresh fish to Asian-enhanced dishes, or petite filets to the best burger in the county, it’s all sublime. Topping it off are the servers, Jimbo knows how to pick great people and train them well — and this in an industry rife with turnover problems. It is always a strong option, whether on a date night or with your kids– fine but reasonably priced dining whatever the occasion.

We have loved coming here ever since it swapped over from being Johnny Angel’s. The ribeye has always been pleasing and my wife usually gets some version of the salmon. The sides are tasty. The servers are friendly and capable.

We live around the corner from Brick’s and that is probably the reason we go there and why it stays in business(1800) homes nearby makes it convenient to a lot of people. The good: The service is always very good and the staff always very nice. Believe it or not Bricks makes an amazing burger. Be sure to ask for extra pickles as they are good as well The southwest chicken salad is a good second choice, but can be hit or miss. Last time there the salad was obviously washed, but not dried very well, as it was sitting in a puddle. The bad or not so good… The prices, for what you get, are a bit on the higher side. The food quality is inconsistent at best. You never quite know if it will be really great or a bit below average. The furniture needs to be replaced, it is the same furniture that was used in the previous restaurant, and really needs repair. Bread with olive oil should arrive at the table, not be called focaccia and served as a pay appetizer! Overall: If Bricks were not around the corner, I would not drive out of the way to get their. As it is we go their about once a month to see if we get the good Bricks or the below average one.

I feel as if I can give Bricks a review after walking through their doors around 20 times over a period of years. Always starting with a positive(if it’s warranted), I can say that the staff is always friendly, the service is relatively prompt, and there are many good dishes for children if they’re tagging along. Kids love the pizzas… cooked in a real brick oven and there are many basic and recognizable pasta dishes on the menu. The décor hasn’t changed since the owners purchased them at Target or Walmart. And every single time I bring someone along, they comment«what’s that smell?» As we enter the front«waiting area». This is the nasty old planters in the front area filled with poorly managed plants or remnants thereof. The menu is seemingly far too vast for the great freshness you look for in a dining experience. And once again… I always say this… If you need cooks, stop posting it on the front window for everyone to see. :) Bricks is a once-a-three-months dining experience. It could do with a much needed revamping. So I will rate the food as fair at best. Take the kids… for adult fine dining, give it a second thought. I also have mastered the skill of eating with one hand and shooing flies and knats with the other. :(sorry…

Well, bricks is one of our gotos for dinner especially during school year. Temperature was unbearably cold, ac unit in rear reads 60. We asked waitress who said, «that’s how it is because the system is connected to the kitchen.» She came back and said they raised it a few degrees. It never changed and the light above out booth was moving. My youngest dinner came out wrong pasta and I got wrong dish, quesadillas instead of tacos. Funny she argued with me and said I said quesadilla. I come here regularly and order the same thing and my wife said I ordered tacos. Gee wiz!

Bricks is all this: 1. Prompt, courteous service(even following a brief wait for a table on a crowded Saturday night) 2. Nice selection of wines and beers(bottled and on draught) 3. Savory Appetizers 4. Varied selection of very well-cooked(everyday) menu items and daily specials from chicken to beef to pork to fish and more. I had the swordfish — moist, grilled to a translucent finish with a slightly spicy«rub»; this was accompanied by rather nondescript, saffron-colored rice and bright steamed vegetables. My companion had grilled salmon — at first appearing to be overdone – BUT – was actually moist and flaky, topped with a savory sage-butter sauce. Very generous portions on all items. The other foods we observed being served at other tables all appeared to be quite appealing — I can’t wait to go back. Oh yes… desserts too. A bit noisy, but a great place for couples, families(cloth-covered tables topped with large paper sheets so the kiddies can draw and scribble while they wait) and folks of all ages.

i’ve been to the brick’s location on nolensville, and this one in franklin. both have wonderful service. there is a quiet, laid back, relaxing atmosphere here, and the food is wonderful. i usually get a pizza with goat cheese, gouda, and itallian sausage, but i recently ordered their ribs, and i don’t know if they came from a magical pig, were blessed by a rabbi, or if the cooks are just that wonderful, but they were delicious. tender, falling off of the bone, and meaty! go here, enjoy, and don’t accept mediocre afterward.

Apparently at lunch time bricks café thinks very highly of itself for a restaurant in the strip mall next to a publix. I was treated with such subtle rudeness by a blonde male bartender with glasses that after being seated and having a moment to consider if my attire wasn’t on par with the cheap paper laid across the tables I decided to leave without eating. Likely not to try again.
