Have visited LongHorn in the past, and used to have just-average experiences, and they always seemed to be overpriced. Yeah, the prices are still a bit more than other chain restaurants. BUT, service is much better and quality is supreme. During my visit to the Franklin location(which is SO much better than the LongHorn in Mansfield), Olivia was my parties waitress. She was super efficient, always remembering everything and making sure our experience went perfect. My meal was perfect and the rest of my parties meal were all made-to-order and delicious. Supreme experience at the Franklin location… definitely will be a place I’ll come back to. Located in the Franklin Village Shopping Center, on Route 140 in Franklin. Exit 17 off I-495. 5 stars.

Poor service and poorly prepared food made for a disappointing lunch. I’m pretty surprised because my wife and I have had nothing but positive experiences at the location in Millbury. Corporate needs to have a chat with the manager. Here are the specifics: 6oz steak was chewy and overcooked. Baked potato came dry although I ordered it with everything. Wife’s salad tasted like something out of a high school cafeteria. They spared every expense on the ingredients. Again, this has not been our experience at other locations.

Love the Longhorn but always seem to have service issues at this location. Go Attleboro or Millbury if you can.

I generally try to avoid mid-tier steak houses and last night’s experience reminded me why. Let’s break it down. Saturday night, we are a party of nine, we were told there is a 40 minute wait. Fair enough. So we wait every bit of that 40 minutes and then, we are called to get our table. But then, it turns out the table’s not actually ready. False start. Another 10 minute penalty. Friendly waitress takes our order, and then the waiting begins. A very long wait, with no check-in’s in between. No refills on drinks unless we flag someone down. After an outrageously long wait, everyone’s food comes out except two filets. When they arrive five minutes after everyone else’s, we finally understood why. The first one was ordered medium… Came out well done. The second one was ordered medium rare… Well done. I suppose that’s all they know how to do. Waitress was empathetic and took both steaks back, promising a very quick turnaround. 20 minutes later the steaks returned long after everyone had completely finished their dinner and was ready to go. By that time, my friend lost her appetite and had her steak boxed up. But for me? Upon cutting the steak I saw the telltale purplish bloody inside, so I knew that I had been given yet another steak that I didn’t order – this time a rare one. Apparently pink, medium steak is beyond the capabilities of this kitchen. Both offending steaks were deducted. We would’ve demanded as much had they not done it on their own. Only the kids’ report of tasty steak tips prevented the one star rating. Avoid this place.

Would not even give them a star at all. Wife placed a takeout and when I got there and walked in I waited at the bar about 5 minutes before I saw any employees. Bartender did not have the order. Guy who took order never wrote it down and never placed it. I thought we would give them one more chance to make 2 simple cheeseburgers. NOPE. They are really bad there. I will never be going back. The manager did apologize but I didn’t trust them to cook my food since they can’t even take an order. Workers just hang out out back goofing off. I also have to say that the times I have eaten there it has not been good either. Poor service for overpriced food that is not good.

Went last Sunday afternoon and my wife asked the server(she was excellent, very attentive) if they had an end cut of the large size Prime Rib. Server checked with kitchen and was told yes. My wife didn’t tell me when it was served it wasn’t an end cut until just now, the Prime Rib was all grissel and fat. She said it was the worst Prime Rib she has ever been served. She ate only a 10th of it. She brought the rest home for my doggie. Very expensive dog food. She loved the sweet patato with cinnamon. My Rib Eye was really great. This is the second time at this steakhouse and will not go back.

I eat in Longhorn Steakhouse restaurants often, but will avoid this one in Franklin, MA in the future. I ordered a Prime time Burger at $ 14.95 and received a beef burger with a thin slice of steak on top of it. Plus the tomato slice that came with it had a hair on top of it. Whenever I have ordered this sandwich in other Longhorn Steakhouses it is served with nice shaved prime rib on the bun. Since coming home my stomach has felt unsettled. Unfortunate food experience!

Niblet says what? That’s right folks stay away from the steak tips or should I say kibble not good. Service exceedingly slow with no weeds to be found. Those of you in the restaurant industry will understand. French onion soup was good. Overall somewhat disappointed in future I’ll get a hamburger.

Worst service ever 1) served a rare steak when asked for well done waitress didn’t even take it back for a re-fire 2) ordered a Moscow mule drink was made with lemonade, a splash of vodka, lime wedge and about 5 ounces of carbonated water 3) waitress was leaning in the bar chatting it up with coworkers while we were waiting for our check must have been 30 mins, she only came over when my bro inlaw spoke to a friend that worked on the kitchen staff that stopped by to say hi This place sucks so much a$$

Our favorite«go-to» restaurant. It’s a no brainer — price is average for a great amount of food. The food always tastes wonderful and is very consistent. I also wanted to write this review because of the young, blond bartender. She is SOPERSONABLE! She remembers our drink and food orders(we typically eat the same few items) and always chats a ton. She is very upbeat and funny. We love sitting at the bar because she is a great bartender — timely, pays attention to our needs, works very quickly. She is clearly very well-liked by all the«regulars» like ourselves. They are so lucky to have her!

Usually I like it here for the steaks but yesterday I ordered the new baby back ribs on the menu and they were served cold, had to send them back… was so disappointed, won’t be coming back… waitress was great and took them back to be reheated…

I enjoyed a recent dining experience here. Everyone ordered steaks and was happy. We had the ribeye, t-bone, NY strip, and prime rib. Ribeye in particular had great flavor. Kids menu was also decent. Service was very friendly. Steaks were a reasonable price, mostly in the low 20s or high teens. Tried the calamari which was good, but FYI there is a moderate spicy flavor to this appetizer that wasn’t captured on the menu description(mentions that it is served with a sweet chili-ginger sauce, but that flavor seemed to be infused or possibly dribbled over the calamari itself in addition to the sauce being served on the side). I didn’t mind, but not everyone in our party can tolerate spicy flavor, so I wish I had known. Service was very friendly.

This is a good place. Typical Longhorn food, they are always spot on with their steak temps here and the staff is very friendly.

Tried this steakhouse several times. Each time I ordered bone-in ribeye«medium». According to their chart that would be a warm pink center. Each time the steak was mostly all rare and I have to send it back. The meat isn’t impressive if you compare it to a ribeye bought at the Holliston superette and grilled in my backyard. Guess I’ll wait for spring for a decent steak.

Went here last night and had a surprisingly great meal. My boyfriend and I got the Texas tunion to start and then I had the portobello mushroom chicken and my boyfriend had steak. Everything was very tasty and much better than when I have been her previously! One thing that was a let down was that we really wanted to try the Oktoberfest pretzel sticks but they were all out :( We had awesome drinks too — jack and honey blackberry lemonades(delicious but very sweet) and watermelon margaritas(larger than before and not served in marg glass but I actually got more this way). For dessert I noticed that the fried cheesecake is no longer on the menu but the waitress(who was really nice and attentive) let us know that depending on who is working the kitchen that they can usually make it up. Awesome! So, sure enough they made this dessert up for us :) We will be back after this great experience, thanks longhorn!

Visited for dinner the day after xmas as we didn’t feel like cooking… place is a little pricey for a ‘chain’ restaurant but damn delicious! I had the crock of French onion soup — I have this soup everywhere I go… and I was definitely a fan! it was hot, loaded with onions and the cheese and croutons on top made it perfect. For my ‘meal’ I had the firecracker chicken wraps and they were really good too. It really is an appetizer but since the soup filled up me up I knew I couldn’t fit an entire meal in… My boyfriend had the white cheddar and bacon stuffed filet and he said it was amazing. it looked really good too. We sat at the bar so service was good and quick and the bartender was friendly. I would give the place 5 stars but some of the appetizers were a bit pricey for such simple things… but overall, this place is great!

It’s Longhorn. Out of all the mid-end chains, the steak here is the best. T-bone, medium rare. I thought the Merlot mushrooms were a bit off this time. They were more Merloy at the Longhorn in Cincinnati.

They accommodated our large party graciously and our server Katelyn was very attentive. I had the Herb Crusted Sirloin and was very happy with the quality of the meat and with the way it was cooked.
