Sensational sushi. Very tasty, fresh and consistent. I usually get the rainbow roll along a squid salad and their delicious miso soup. And try the rest of their menu, traditional dishes that look & taste great. Check ‘em out. !!!

We waited over 10 minutes to be greeted but no one acklowledged us. We told the staff and no one cared or apologized. We paid for $ 4 tea and ate next door. My 4 year old said«mommy that place was not good, we should never go there again.» I agree

My family & I have been going to Peking Palace for 21yrs… I moved to Indiana early 2015 every time I’m back home I go there to eat hands down best Chinese food around Kim and her family are the best! they know exactly what we want to eat and drink before we can ever tell them. As a matter of fact I ate there yesterday for lunch when visiting and got a to go order to have at work today it’s that good! Best hot & sour soup! Must try!

Came here last night bc my sister and I were really craving some sushi. I was a little skeptical about coming to a Chinese restaurant for it, but we came bc we read pretty good reviews about it. We started off with the crab wontons. It was more like crab flavored cream cheese wontons. The crab seemed to be nonexistent, but luckily we like cream cheese and we’re not huge complainers. The sushi actually wasn’t that bad. We ordered the deluxe sushi combo that came with 10 pc of nigiri and a spicy tuna, and a few other rolls. The waitress suggested a roll that is deep fried in a jalapeño, which was really good. But c’mon, you can never go wrong with anything deep fried. The rest were pleasantly decent. The only hiccup we had was when we got our food, we noticed we had sashimi rather than nigiri(which was totally fine!) and we didn’t get the spicy tuna either(again, fine bc we had plenty of other rolls) so we told our waitress the mix up but said it was okay and that we didn’t need the other roll, and to just make sure we were charged for what we received. Keep in mind, my sister and I both worked at sushi restaurants, so we know the lingo and what’s what. The waitress seemed confused and even went back to get the order sheet that we had marked. She tried to tell us that we got what we ordered, but we had to tell her multiple times that what we had was sashimi, not nigiri, which would be individually sitting on a bed of rice if it was nigiri. She finally realized that we were right and brought us the spicy tuna anyway. I understand there’s a language barrier, but I just think that you should have your servers know the difference between something as simple as that if you’re going to serve it at the restaurant. In all, wasn’t a bad experience. The lunch sushi special looks good so I’d come back to try that out.

I’ve dined here a couple of times and it’s always been pretty good! Service is the way I like it — servers don’t pester and are happy to get whatever you ask for. They have GREAT lunch specials. You can leave this place stuffed at lunch and only spend $ 10. I recommend the Phở. It’s a huge bowl and very yummy. They have some fried sushi rolls that I have tried and didn’t really enjoy it. It was very«heavy» with lots of cream cheese. All the other rolls are delicious. Also, wonton soup isn’t that great. I opt for the miso.

We had hoped that telling them the phở was a bit too sweet cinnamony would have helped, nope. We only order chicken wings, basil chicken, chicken phở and chicken fried rice and sometimes am order of tuna sushi. It now has become only our kids favorite and our second. The people who own it are nice and I hope they continue.

I’m giving this 1 star only for their ice coffee only. This is a Chinese restaurant, do NOT order vietnamese ice coffee here. It was awful. It did not taste like coffee. I’m not even sure what was used for creamer. It was not condensed milk.

I came in solo one afternoon. There were two ladies covering the entire floor. They were not communicating with one another, as they each approached the table within minutes of me sitting down, asking if I was ready to order. It was my first time. I started with the gyoza. The sauce was so good I could drink it! I then ordered the spicy Orange Chicken. I could have split the dish with four other people. The sauce was excellent, but the portion size was overwhelming. Their rice was unusual, not just plain white rice, but instead had bits of egg. It was tasty. Next time, I will bring someone with me to help me conquer the plates!

I’ve never been disappointed. The atmosphere is always inviting. The food is delicious and the wait staff is friendly. They have a variety of dishes. Beef, chicken, pork, and sushi. There is something for everyone. What’s weird is that they have a Vietnamese flair. Which isn’t bad, but it detracts with the whole chimes restaurant name and cuisine. Other than that, I would recommend it to all my friends and co worker.

We went here on Christmas Eve. They accommodated our group of 18. Everyone enjoyed their meals. I had the phở noodle soup, it was very good. Great flavor. Make sure you mix in the bean sprouts and herbs while it is hot to let them steep. We shared several sushi rolls: kamikaze, dragon and spicy tuna roll all excellent. Had a bite of the mushy pork rolls, it was prepared at the table for our dinner party. Also excellent. Service was good. Will definitely be going back to try some of the Chinese fare.

Wow!!! I cannot believe the sushi here… I am a so happy I came here I was nervous when I pulled up and saw it sitting alone with just a few cars up front bit decided to check it out due to the reviews I sat down and ordered two rolls so I could indulge in soup and salad… Wasn’t impressed with either but it was free and keep me happy while I waited Sat at the sushi bar and was refreshed to see a woman sous chef… She served me a salmon roll while I waited and I complained to the man next to me that I didn’t like salmon but ate it for the kindness from her… Wow!!! I ate the whole thing and loved it I ordered the sexy jalapeño roll and king crab roll … I forget the name… Both were completely amazing. The jalapeño roll was different and didn’t have rice so didn’t make me completely full… I am very picky with my crab and will not for any reason eat imitation… The king crab was fresh and wonderful. I even for a little Piece of outer layer shell so know it 100 percent real!!! If your in the area and don’t need all the bells and whistles this is the place to go The people next to me were obviously regulars and that makes me even more refreshed Great sushi

What I liked: 1. I finally found a place with decent Egg Drop Soup! 2. Empress Chicken was flavorful and delicious! It had a nice, subtle kick. What I didn’t like: 1. The soup was great, but what I like to call«crunchies»(likely known to most as fried wontons) were stale and tasted like a wet dog smells. 2. My Moo Goo Gai Pan was pretty bland and the chicken was very rubbery. 3. The«fried rice» was essentially white rice in soy sauce– no veggies, eggs, meat or even tofu The verdict: My search for decent Chinese continues…

Very tender steak! We stopped in for lunch before hitting the mall. It took me awhile to decide what I wanted because there were many choices on the lunch menu. I narrowed it down to the House Specialties section and ordered the Seafood and Steak Combo. The seafood was good but the steak was exceptionally tender. So much so I ate everything else and saved most of it for last. I wanted it to be the last thing I tasted. The combo came with choice of soup and salad. The salad had ginger dressing on it like most Chinese restaurants. I usually get wonton soup but I was feeling adventurous today so I got the egg flower instead. It was good but I think I like wonton better. I was happy to see that there were plenty of tables available. I was hungry and ready to eat. We had good service and the food arrived quickly. Overall great lunch.
