I love this place not because my Best friend owns it. Every time I go to Nashville, this place is a must !!! Food is always fresh and quick, servers are attentive and friendly. Upscale ambiance with great outdoor seating. Lots of local celebs so you know it must be good. Flying back in Feb so will def be stopping by again.

Nice restaurant with complimentary valet parking. The ambiance was nice, somewhere to go have a drink and some food after a long day of work. The food here was fancy but affordable. I ordered the duck confit and it was more than anyone can ask for. The flavors are so different and well conceived and well executed. The duck I had was crispy but not dry, the vegetables were fresh and the taste had a sweetness to it from fig reduction. The taro mash on the bottom was delicious and creamy and not too heavy. The salsa on top gave it a nice acidity. Overall great dish! Coming back very soon! Update: Came back for a second time during my trip to Nashville. The owner was nice to have offered a free edamame appetizer coupon for the review I left earlier. The edamame had great flavors that combined well with the natural sweetness of the beans. The spiciness level was perfect just for that little kick that didn’t leave your mouth on fire. I also ordered the lobster bisque which was nice and creamy and had large chunks of crab meat in it. The other item I ordered was a chill appetizer called tostones rellenos. Tostones rellenos is a Caribbean dish that involves fried plantains with a stuffing on top. Wild Ginger’s rendition of the dish included tuna ahi poke as its main filling. The presentation of the dish was beautiful. The three fried plantains filled goodness sat on a bed of alfalfa sprouts which looked like a bird’s nest. Beauty aside, I was not entirely in love with the dish. The flavors were great and everything but I don’t think poke and fried plantains go well with each other. I think the poke would have been better served with a simple fried wonton as it was tough to eat with the plantain. Maybe I’ll close this trip in Nashville with another visit here.

The Wild Ginger salad is my favorite lunch meal. And don’t forget the edamame — the best in town, hands down! Other restaurants’ edamame is absolutely boring by comparison…

Still wishing there was a Wild Ginger in Nashville proper, but years later, I’m still coming here for a consistently great experience. Food, service, atmosphere — firing on all cylinders. Sushi is inventive and interesting. Even the hot entrees don’t disappoint if(for some weird reason) you’re not in the mood for sushi. I love the bar staff. As if that wasn’t enough — the people watching in this part of town is pretty great. It’s like a Real Housewives episode sometimes. Thanks, WG! You make Franklin fun.

Been in Nashville area for a shot period of time and can’t stop coming to Wild Ginger. Service is awsome(specially if Benjamin is your server). Food is great. Dynamite shrip, sushimi, and black pepper beef are our favorites.

Literally one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to. Every time I go I am excited to try something new on the menu. Typically when you go to a restaurant, you always want to stick with the items that you know are tried and true and that are good to your palate. But not in this case! I am excited every time I go to find a new favorite on the menu. I most recently got that shaking beef and the c4 sushi roll. another favorite has come upon me! Also we got the euphoria roll and it was delicious as well. One of my favorite restaurants in town bar none for sure! Definitely try to make reservations though, because they do get busy very fast and it’s best to get great table by the water feature outside. The downer is that there is only about 10 parking spaces and the rest is required valet parking. So bring some cash to tip

My wife and I were staying in Franklin at the Aloft about 2 miles away, she’d just flown in(and boy were her arms tired, ba dum dum) and was starved so we Unilocaled about for something ethnic and nearby(we’d ODed on southern cuisine and barbecue the last time we’d come out, about 6 months before) Based on the reviews we went here and weren’t disappointed The ONLY reason I’m giving this place a 3 and not a 4 is based on their parking — let’s just say that they have the most effed up approach to parking EVER. THey have a narrow entry way, with scant parking out front, and ample parking in a gravel lot(I think — never made it there) just beyond. So there’s NOWAY for anyone to by-pass the valet service and self park. As a result, when we got there, the line was out the parking lot, down the block and almost out the light at the end of the block. Idiots. I dropped my wife off to grab a place in likne and went in search of parking — found it across the street, down the way in a «ABSOLUTELYNOPARKINGHERE» area that had no cars in it(I think it’s a Postal place combined with an Enterprise Rental spot but it was dark My wife was waiting for me at a table — crammed in by the exit to the patio so every time someone wanted to go outside we were treated with a gust of air. Nice. But the service was great — our server was very attentive, full of great suggestions, both about the menu, as well as the Franklin area. He’d been to San Francisco so we shared tips with him as well. As ahe was starving(I could eat as well) we wound up ordering too much food — take away made a great breakfast in bed a couple of days later. For appetizers we had the Tokyo Gyoza and the Yum Yum rolls. The gyoza were great, yum yum rolls OK. Then we split a Wild Ginger Salad before digging into our mains. She had the Scottish Salmon(fabulous — moist, not over cooked in a gentle sauce), and I had the Singapore Crispy Grouper(while tasty, ultimately a mistake — fried food didn’t sit well that evening) along with an order of yellowtail sushi. Tell me again why MId-West(Southern?) places can’t get uni? We stuck to water and skipped on dessert. All in all a good meal — tasty, good service. I’d go back again, but park across the street first thing. A note on my rating schema Rating system 1) I wouldn’t feed a dog I hated here 2) I’ll give it a miss 3) Good food — I’ll definitely go again 4) Really good — I’ll recommend to business colleagues and connoisseurs of this cuisine 5) Completely worth a trip — I’d book airplane and hotels to go there again.

The fried rice was unmatched — how do they make it so good? Maybe butter(or some other special feel good food), regardless very tasty. My date and I had the chicken and a sushi roll along with the chicken bulgogi appetizer. All delicious.,.

Since moving to the area I have inquired from many locals on a place for great sushi. Wild Ginger was always in the list of suggestions so I finally got around to trying it. I had the spicy tuna, octopus nigiri and the yellowtail nigiri. Well I wasn’t disappointed… service and food were very good.

Loved the grouper wok dish, and the jasmine tea offered a nice contrast to the sweet heat of the tempura. We learned a lot through our knowledgeable server. He obviously knows the menu well and his recommendations were spot on. We will definitely come back.

Sushi is awesome. There was live music that was typical of Nashville(great) and staff are super friendly. Friend had the lamb that he didnt stop raving about the entire time, but didnt offer me any… which says a lot :) A little pricey, but worth it.

Beautiful atmosphere, and they handled our large group with no problems and didn’t act like they were put out by a group. I had some great sushi, the tapioca popcorn chicken(so good!) and the Mongolian beef rice bowl. There were so many things on the menu I wanted to try, and I felt like there was something for everyone’s budget on this menu.

The best place to go in the area. Absolutely the most amazing sushi in Nashville. I’m talking the freshest sashimi and the most creative maki rolls you will find. Also, really nice fusion dinner menu. Great wine choice and awesome cocktails. Beautiful ambiance makes his place perfect for dates or group parties. The infirmity pool feels so upscale and it feels like you’ve been transported to a releasing zen escape.

My boyfriend and I come here at least once a month sometimes more. Every single time we are absolutely happy with everything. Service is great, drinks are great, and food is super delicious every single time! The atmosphere is stunning as we usually request a window seat by the beautiful waterfall into their small pool. I highly recommend the edemame app if you like spicy! The sea bass and steak dinners are amazing too. I highly recommend for a date night or for celebrating something!

I’ve been here a couple times for lunch and it’s a great spot. The atmosphere is awesome no matter what time of day you come. There’s glass everywhere so you can see the beautiful scenery outside. Whether you’re in the mood for sushi, noodles, or a sandwich, this place has it all. The best thing hands down they have here is the edamame. It’s not your regular edmame that’s steamed with salt. This is stir fried in garlic, oil and hot bean paste. It is the most addicting and tasty thing you will eat here. The nigiri: yellowtail, salmon, and tuna were all fresh Speciality sushi rolls are good too, but it doesn’t differ from any other sushi places I have been. The stir fry noodles with beef and bok choy were delicious. I have never been to a place that’s gotten flavor in their noodle sauce just right without having it being too salty. Definitely recommended. Get: edamame, nigiri, stir fry noodles Bathroom: very clean New edit: my boyfriend told me to mention the hooks above your chair that you can put your jacket and purse. Very useful!

The best thing about this place is the atmosphere. The service is also very good. We always go here for the sushi, which is delicious and well priced. El Wildginger is my favorite sushi there. It sounds funny, but trust me, it has plenty of fish and is just delicious. The seafood I’ve tried was good, but other dishes such as pasta not so much. High price tags on these items too.

I heard about Wild Ginger from friends and coworkers, mainly because it’s a very upscale sushi restaurant where a lot of local celebrities come through… Celine Dion, Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Taylor Swift, even the occasional rapper. We spotted someone who looked familiar and possibly famous, but couldn’t figure it out. Oh well. We started with an order of Tokyo gyoza, pan-seared pork and vegetable dumplings. I don’t eat much seafood, so these are my Asian fusion standby! They were sooooo delicious, some of the best I’ve had. We also got an order of their Bombay calamari. I don’t usually eat calamari, but when I tried these I was blown away. The batter tasted like a funnel cake, and the squid was better than I expected. The mango chili sauce that went with it was great too. While the prices at Wild Ginger are fairly expensive, the portions and presentation definitely make up for it. Look, I’m boring when I’m at a new restaurant. I like getting something I know will be a sure thing. I chose the wok dish Honey Sake Glazed Chicken. It was HUGE(I could only finish half of it) and soooo good. The chicken was juicy and crispy, and I didn’t need to add anything to the dish.

Per my last review from Dec 2012, I’m back. However, I must downgrade this experience to 3STARS. Server didn’t schedule or monitor my order, so two dishes of my dishes came out at once, when I had been waiting for a LOOOOOOng time. Quality was good, but not quite what we all remembered. Bill for two, came to $ 87, for a lot of food, plus wines. Still, a nice evening.
