We would visit here more often if they had a better bar tending staff. Inattentive, listen to the order, be a tad more softer in your approach. Loud and annoying doesn’t work in this setting Suzi…

My husband and I recently met some friends here for dinner. This place is a nice addition to the Franklin area. When we walked in, it still had that new building smell to it. We were greeted and seated right away. I was never here when it was still Hanley’s, so I can’t compare Point After to them. But I can definitely say that the staff here is friendly, and the service was excellent. There are plenty of televisions throughout for watching games and other sporting events. The food menu is what you would expect for a sports bar: burgers, wings, wraps, assorted appetizers, etc. Having had a late lunch the day we were there, I did not have any of the food(I stuck to wine instead). However, my husband did have the build your own burger, and thought it was very good. Point After has a nice drink selection as well. Whether you’re in the mood for a beer, a glass of wine, or a mixed drink, they have you covered. I definitely want to make another trip here so I can try some of the food.

We’ve been here 5 – 6 times(Franklin really needs more restaurants) … After our last experience, I’m sure we won’t be back. First, the food is good but service was slow and pretty inattentive… We noticed that the customers that knew the owners & staff were being fawned over and we couldn’t even get a plate for the bones from our wings. We also had to ask for extra napkins and wet wipes(we had 2 orders of wings). So … Since we aren’t likely to become friends of the owners, we will look elsewhere for wings & beers. One more comment, the TVs are all pretty small and the ones around the bars are at a weird angle for people sitting at the bar.

Good beer. Closed at 12:13 on a Saturday with a bar full of people which I didn’t understand.

Service is friendly but the wait was an issue for many tables-evident only because we heard them complaining before we even placed an order. BUT The curds were terrific as was the poutine!!! The ribs were delicious, the coleslaw had ALLTHEDILLINTHEUNIVERSE in it(not my thing), and unfortunately my friend dumped his beer in my beans so can’t tell ya about what I didn’t have. The chicken blt sandwich and overtime burger were delicious as well according to my friends who devoured their plates. Except for the fries. The ‘seasoned’ fries aren’t seasoned with anything beyond salt, as an FYI. We’ll try again when the buzz has died down a bit or order carry out for sure.

A welcomed eatery and sports pub in Franklin. Truly they have out done the entire facility with state of the art TVs throughout — tuned to football, soccer, and other sports. The food is as good as their décor — excellent. Excellent pub grub and more. Food options from appetizers, sandwiches, burgers for every taste — even a customize your own burger, a kids, flatbread pizzas, and more. The beverage section should quench every thirst!

Point After is more Pub than Grille. While I applaud the owners for updating the look with an extensive remodeling, the place has lost some of the neighborhood charm of the old Hanleys. The menu is small. Because we were in a group, we got to sample several things. Nothing spectacular. Hanleys used to have the best ribs around. They are gone. We like to support locally owned businesses and I hope that Point After evolves.

Went to meet a friend. Nice atmosphere and clean place to hang out. Adult crowd and I liked the home team enthusiasm. I went during a Packer pre-season game… nice time and lots of TV’s. I didn’t have any food but it looked good :)

Great sportsbar environment, definitely needed in franklin. They completely revamped the inside, it’s no longer like being in someone’s basement. The new owners hit it out of the park. That being said, the prices are outrageous. We are not downtown, remember what happened to Ka in franklin. 15 dollars for chicken wings? 15 dollars for a pot roast sandwich? Are you a sportsbar, or the Steakout?

Fantastic place to watch a game! This is our second visit and watching the Packer game. Great menu including a kids menu. Great appetizers, sandwiches, build your own burger, entrees and salads. My personal favs are the cheese curds and artichoke bites for appetizers and the build your own burger(love that they have chicken and turkey options). There is not a bad seat in the house with TVs where ever you are seated. Food had been consistent and tasty for both of our visits… we will definitely be back!

My wife and I eat out quite often, more often then we should perhaps. Last night, we decided to try a new place, After Point being that place. The setting seemed good, easy going atmosphere, prices rather average. We were actually liking the place until we paid $ 8.95, I believe it was, for 4 basic wonton mozzarella sticks. My burger, they call the Overtime which was basically $ 13 … $ 12.95 I believe it was. Had absolutely no taste, was burned to the point it was crispy on the outside yet still had pink in the middle. What I thought would have been more of a house made hash brown on my burger ended up being a hash brown puck like McDonald’s serves, that you could get at Aldi’s or something. At first glance seemed very nice but once the food started rolling out it was pure disappointment. The cost of the food does not meet the quantity nor the quality. Didn’t even bother speaking to anyone about the situation because at that point it would have looked like we were just trying to catch a free meal. Plus, once I did finish what little portions they gave us, I wasn’t even satisfied and had to go home to eat more. Definitely will not be returning… Sincerely, Milwaukee’s new restaurant critic

Fabulous food and great service! Bloody Mary alone is worth the visit. A TV for every sport live and viewed from every table.

Where do I start… … bloody mary. My fiancé and I ordered bloodys. My fiancé asked for it not to be spicy. Happen to watch the lady behind the bar make them. Our waitress comes over with them and says sorry we use a bloody mix, and cant change the hottmess of them. BOLDFACELIE … little did she know, I saw her make them from scratch. … wings. We ordered some wings to start. Wings come out extremely salty. … ordered a flat bread pizza to split between thetwo of us. Pizza comes out cut in four pieses. Tips of the corners burnt, black. Middle of the pizza, crust soggy.

My husband and I had been regulars at Hanley’s for several years, so we were excited to try the Point After Bar and Grille. The new place is nicely remodeled, but the air conditioner was set way too high. It was difficult to sit comfortably and enjoy my meal because I was shivering! The food was okay — I had a Hanley’s Fish Fry. However, the coleslaw was placed directly on the plate with the fish and fries, so everything was soggy from the coleslaw dressing. The French Fries were a major disappointment! My mouth was watering for the taste of Hanley’s crispy fries — but was met with thick, non-crispy potatoes. My husband ordered Mozzarella Sticks with a side of French Fries. The shocker came when we received our bill and found that we were charged $ 8 for a side of fries, which would normally cost $ 3 at other establishments! ~ We waited all summer for this restaurant to open, and now we are uncertain if we want to try it again. Hopefully, the food staff will get their act together and improve in the months ahead.

Was super happy to see this new updated place! It looks nice inside. It’s obvious that people are looking to have a new place to go in this area. The atmosphere; crowded. It’s loud in the whole place, the sound level makes it hard to converse. Now on to the food– it’s below average. The service was awful. Could not be get cocktails at our table. Very frustrating experience. I might go back in a few weeks to see if they have improved. I hope so.

Was a regular at Hanley’s so I was anxious to check out The Point After and see what they did with the place. It looks great! I love that they added an extra wall/door entrance when you enter. It will help block out the cold in the winter. The bar is large and the rest of the place has an industrial feel with a sports paraphernalia on the walls. Clean, beautiful bathrooms. The food was good! For an appetizer we ordered the artichoke bites which were so good. After eating those we thought maybe should have ordered a bunch of appetizers to try since those were so good! But I was not disappointed with my Reuben sandwich. Super thick corn beef with Gouda cheese, 1,000 island dressing and kraut, loved it. My mom got the fish sandwich and said it was great. Service was great. Amy was our server and she did a great job. Definitely plan on going back.

Hanley’s, a popular Franklin restaurant closed its doors several months ago to make way for new group of owners to take over the space. The new restaurant and bar has reopened under the name of The Point After with major interior improvements and a fun menu that is sure to make it not only the spot to go to in Franklin but will undoubtedly make it a destination spot
