Brian was very informative and helpful. Was able to walk through all of the questions that we had for beginners. Offered lots of helpful hints and what to do and what not to do.

Good selection. A little pricey. Quality of sales people is hit or miss. Some are helpful others act like your questions are a burden. Seems like specials are inconsistent at different stores. Pretty nice smoking section at both frederick and urbana shops.

Let me say that I used to *love* Davidus, it was so much fun to browse there. These days are over, evidently, at least at the two Frederick locations over the last few years, where an employee needs to follow me into the humidor room every time and watch me like a hawk like I’m going to rip the place off.
Here’s a tip: I would shop here a lot more frequently and buy more at each purchase if you didn’t treat me like a criminal and made me feel free to browse. What used to be fun now just leaves me feeling lousy. I wish there were some other cigar choices in the area, but since there isn’t I guess my choice is Davidus or no cigars.
By the way, I understand that you may experience loss from shoplifters every once in a while. Surveillance cameras would be a good investment to protect that, so it’s less obvious that my every move is being scrutinized. And if I want your help, I will ask you. usually what I want is to browse first, then I might come ask you a question.
Sign over cash register required a $ 10 purchase for credit cards. I didn’t think that was even legal to do anymore.
OK diatribe is over– selection is pretty good. Prices on the high side, not gouging, but inflated, which is understandable since Davidus has a monopoly in the area. Pleasant store aside from the eagle eyes watching me. I think I’ll have to remember to plan ahead and try Tobacco Shack in Germantown next time I need cigars.

After pigging out at Mangia e Bevi this is the place to let all that fine grub settle.
The Cigar selection was beyond what I imagined. So many great brands and rarities I could barely choose. The gentleman at the counter was also friendly and answered all my (many) questions.
The lounge was sponsored by Diamond Crown and features a bunch of Diamond Crown paraphernalia, which is pretty co0l!
They also got TV so you can watch the game or rock out some tunes while your kicking back and relaxing!
Met a few new BOTL and a nice girl who hit me off w/​a trade.
This is a must to go to Mangia e Bevi and this Cigar lounge again.
