I still remember when this was a Golden West. The portions are good, though not as generous as Tabacchi’s was. The hashbrowns and eggs were good but the pancakes were not impressive. It was clean and the staff friendly.

Usually this place its ok for being a diner edible food. This last time I went was a bad experience we entered usually have to wait to get sat but it was a lot of us including kids I understand when its a large group it takes longer to get a table but the servers were giving us dirty looks and sat way more people before they even came and acknowledged us maybe theyre not so big on big groups with kids I dont get it they add tip anyways so being ignored for more than 20 min on a not so bussy night we took our business elsewhere! Diner basic food you can find anywhere! And bad service to top it off never coming back here again

This place is the worst!!! They refused to honor our Groupon. We came in and sat at 3 different tables. Each table had one groupon but when the bill came said that they only honor one groupon per GROUP even though the sign stated otherwise. I’ll NEVER come to this shithole again. Avoid at all costs.

This is an old Golden West pancake house that was cleaned up and now presents as a retro diner. The food is down home delicious burgers and all American fare. A small salad bar is available, but nothing special. The portions are huge and reasonably priced. Do consider sharing. A great option 24⁄7 when you are hungry. The service staff is upbeat, friendly and efficient. They meet and greet the local regulars by name. I would not consider this a destination dine location, but perfect if you are casual and hungry. Very family friendly with lots of booths for the little ones. Enjoy!

The food is def good enough to give a second chance. The same waitress as my last review and she was super on it and friendly. And it’s important to understand sometimes people have days where other stuff is on their mind, which I totally understand for. All the wait staff is super attentive and if when they are busy they make sure to be overly sweet when they get to see you.

The food is home style and is served in large portions. Staff is very friendly and attentive. Silverware and cups are old. They need to update the place overall so that it looks clean.

The food has good quality and my only complaint is the bathroom I mean just clean it’s not that hard. The waitresses are very kind as well and I’m definitely coming back again.

This place is at the top of my list for the worst customer service ever! Waitresses are super rude! Can’t even enjoy your food without them trying to get you out as soon as possible. The last time I was there a waitress had the nerve to go all the way outside to yell at us «learn how to tip» she thought we didn’t tip her since we paid up front .when her tip was at the table all along. damn that pissed me off. It used to be a great place to go eat with your family but honestly not worth ur time or money. I will never go back to this place.

Great place to come in and grab some breakfast anytime of the day. This place is very similar to a Denny’s. Another bonus about this place is that they are open 24 hours a day. Friendly establishment.

Usually this place is good but tonight was just a very bad visit, first off the first waitress we had, kept having us repeat our drink order there was only four of us. Then she switched out with another waitress she took our orders but never came back to refill drinks tried to wave her down in a polite way didn’t get anywhere with that. she brought our food refilled one of our four people’s drinks :(. Then never came back at all. we had to go tell them we needed boxes and our bill. So disappointed but our food was good until we got home and the runs hit all of us I think they may have had been cooking with old oil. My poor one year daughter was not at her best when she went to bed this may be our last time visiting this place. Can risk the health and time of my family and daughter.

I ate here on impulse last night. My son and I pulled into the parking lot at the last minute because I really didn’t want fast food for dinner, and I was pleasantly surprised by this diner. This is diner food, it wasn’t fancy, but it was well prepared. I had the barbeque chicken breast, which was just a chicken breast with barbeque sauce, but it was cooked perfectly. The salad with ranch dressing was good(I hate dressing that tastes bottled), the baked potato was piping hot, and my vegetables were cooked a little longer than is the style at most places, which happens to be how I like them. My son didn’t pay enough attention to the menu and ordered a double burger, which turned out to be a full pound of meat! He liked it and ate it all, but he didn’t have room for the large basket of fries that came with it. Next time he will get a single hamburger. The service was very good, the girls/ladies were friendly and fast. Our server apologized for making us wait maybe 30 seconds for menus. Our drinks were constantly filled, and we were checked on to make sure we were happy with our meals, always with a smile. We didn’t have to ask for anything, not once. We didn’t use the bathrooms, but the restaurant and parking lot were both clean. All in all I found this place to be a good option as a dinner choice, and we will go back.

ATTENTION«««««SALADBAR and BATHROOMSPOORLYMAINTAINED !!! Waitresses seem very poorly trained borderlining rude .not child-friendly poor management with poor customer service skills. If you get a salad and you want to make it yourself there is an additional $ 3 and 79 cent charge that you are not told about. This is in addition to the price of your meal if trading fries for salad, also do not be surprised if your tab is placed on the table before you’ve even finished your main course… Even with only three tables filled and an entire section blocked off and empty I was told here was my ticket in case the waitress got busy as if I was not an important guest anymore… This is really too bad this place seems to be going downhill last year it was one of my favorite places I took all of my friends and family there constantly… Also if you notice in the dates and times of the reviews it’s almost as if they find somebody to try and counteract every negative review… Look at Stephanie s who seems to try an minimize JB. Review also sent me a private message recommending I give the place to another try. I bet Unilocal would not like to hear this kind of thing not to mention that it’s very unprofessional. a review is somebody’s honest opinion it is not the job of the restaurant to go around and try and hide what people observe it is their job to try and fix it… In my opinion.

This place pleasantly surprised me. It was busy when we went on a Saturday but it was worth it. Service wasn’t incredibly slow compared to what some other reviews have said. I had the jalapeño burger and my boyfriend had sausage, eggs, hash browns, and pancakes. The food came in large portions and I liked everything. The only reason why it’s 4 stars is because the hash browns were mushy inside and the bathrooms are really scary yucky.

Bad service, so bad we got up after 15 minutes of being completely ignored and left. Loss of $ and customers. Hope the owner cares enough to resolve the problems.

Went to Rogers last night and found that the diner looked a bit busy but not too busy since we didn’t have to wait to have our waitress seat us. She was courteous and friendly as she asked us immediately what kind of drinks we wanted. Our drinks arrived in under a minute. We got our menus and I contemplated on getting my usual, the 4 piece fried chicken but decided to changed it. I got the pork chops instead and I wasn’t disappointed. It was not to dry or juicy. It could use a little more seasoning so I added black pepper. I had my choice of sides. It was either white rice, mashed potatoes, baked potato, or rice pilaf. I chose the rice pilaf and it was tasty with a hint of herbs. Our waitress checked on us twice to refill our drinks but the only thing I found out was that after I had ordered cornbread, instead of garlic bread,(not a problem for me) that they were out of cornbread. Tasted the garlic bread and it was pretty good. Overall experience has always been good and last night was pretty good. I had a happy tummy afterwards. Rogers is a great place to eat and I highly recommend it.

There were several hiccups during the course of our meal(both food and service wise) but I’m giving 4 stars because it was rectified and I’ll definitely return to Rogers. The owner John cares about his customers. It was my plate that had the issues. You know what? It’s awesome when the owner takes you seriously. Instead of playing operator through our server(Rachel), he came out to our table! We aired the complaints we had about my dish(mushroom scramble) and I had a few compliments to add as well. Will also conveyed that his dish was delish! He ordered the Works burger with upgrade for 1 visit salad bar. Rachel told us she was new and I’m guessing she’s learning the ropes. She’ll eventually get into her groove. For now, she’s overwhelmed with tables in my opinion. She was the only server for a long while today. It wasn’t until about 3pm that another server showed up. The place was pretty busy and I think that’s the main reason she wasn’t able to keep up very well. We waited over 10 minutes for ranch dressing. If she’d had help, things might have been different. Nevertheless, Rachel was friendly and apologetic. :-) Roger’s has delicious food, upbeat and casual atmosphere with large TV’s as well. It’s a diner so don’t expect 5 star dining. If you’re social and casual, Roger’s is a place you’ll probably like! Some foods we love here: corn bread country potatoes breakfast croissant turkey and bacon croissant garden veggie scramble Works burger Seafood platter clam chowder salad bar before noon’ish(it seems to be fresher at that time)

This is the first time I’ve been to Roger’s. It never looked particularly busy. No one had ever told me they went there. Well Sunday brunch is busy. I had the BLAT(BLT w/avocado) and it was good. The bacon was crispy and the bread perfectly toasted. The plate was a little sparse but the curly fries were in a separate basket and there were enough for 2 of us. It would have been good for 3 but there were too good for me to share more. The cost $ 8.99. This is a diner so don’t expect ambiance. The wait staff is busy so don’t expect fine dining service. They have chicken fried steak on the menu so I will be back to try it.

We loved this place! From the fresh cut fruit on top of the pancakes to the fresh hot sizzling sausage on «The Whole Hog» plate. My husband had the French toast and said it was delicious! Even though they were short staffed the two girls in the front of the house rocked it! The food came out in a timely manner and all hot off the grill. We will be back when we are in the area, that’s for sure!

Haven’t been here for years since it was the other place. Came in for breakfast today and it was busy(at 10am) so we had to wait only 5 minutes to get seated. Which was fine cuz it gave us time to look at the menu. We both ordered the #4 Special 2 eggs, 2 sausage paddies, hash browns and 2 biscuits and gravy. Eggs were cooked to order and the hash browns were great! They give you a pretty big pile of hash browns too, I like that! I had already heavily salted and peppered my hash browns when I noticed I had my husbands order. Our waitress overheard this and offered to bring us a new plate at no charge! Awesome! It came out very quickly too. The sausage patties were pretty generic as were the biscuits and gravy. But we had to try it. We saw all kinds of different breakfast orders coming and going and they all looked good. Big portions. We’ll be back to try some of those. We had Orange juice, also big, but we’ll have to try their coffee next time. They give you a big tall cup of joe here, I like that too. Their service was slow, but it was pretty busy. Overall it was pretty good and we’ll be back!
