Heard about this new chinese buffet opening in town. I know these are incredible bad for you but they are my one weakness, next to pizza. I don’t know what I was expecting but this place is average at best.
Let’s start with the positives, the food was hot and seemed fresh during lunch. A lot of times at these buffets the food seems to have been out for days, but they were good about refilling the trays. They had the traditional blend of fried chicken in general tsao’s, sesame, and sweet and sour varieties. They also had a sushi bar that was decent.
The negatives mostly follow the same theme, the food was bland. The sauces were neither spicy nor overly flavorful. The wonton soup needed salt, and the spring rolls had way too much ginger.
Add this to the list of ok, cheap lunch stops. The name doesn’t lie.
