Does’nt taste like real dum Biryani. I think in Fremont there are many places too eat good food but surely this Biryani point is not the one.

Food is okay. But Management is ridiculously bad We took a reservation for today afternoon lunch at 2:30Pm for 10 people. After we went to that location, we got the table but they told me that we have one chance to order that is still ok but I wish they would have told us when we made reservation more than anything the way they were showing attitude is too much to take. There is no concept of service in their books. I am not going to them again period.

–DONOTRECOMMENDTHISRESTAURANTDUETOBADSERVICE. NEVERORDERANYTHINGTOGOYOUMAYNOTFINDWHATYOUORDERINTHEBAGWHENYOUCHECKITONCEYOU’REHOME– Poor service by the manager, Vijay. I had ordered lunch to go. Chicken tikka masala and tandoori Roti in order #1 and in an additional order for a chicken biryani with my coworker. They packed all food in one packet. I asked, it’s all in one bag? The manager at the time(around 2:45 pm on February 18) confirmed yes all in one bag. We come to work and the chicken tikka masala is missing. I call the restaurant to do a service recovery and deliver the food they forgot to put in my bag. The manager said we don’t deliver. Next day I went back in the evening and there was zero sense of apology by a different manager. Very rude. His name is Vijay(when asked for a last name he refuses to tell — not sure of the reason). He speaking in his regional language(not in English) says somethings to his server. Due to his rude behavior I changed my mind to order anything at this restaurant. I simply asked for my refund for the food that was not in the bag. The manager, Vijay(no last name) refused to give my refund and insisted I have to order food in exchange for the food that they didn’t pack and charged me for it on Feb 18. Very rude manager, Vijay. Didn’t get to talk to other staff. Will never return to this restaurant in Fremont. Very bad corporate culture. He insisted I can file a complain but they won’t refund the amount for the food they didn’t pack in the bag but charged for it. HIGHLYDISRESPECTEDMANAGER, Vijay. WON’t RECOMMENDTHISRESTAURANTTOANYONE. There are many other nice restaurants in Fremont that one can visit. THEYARESOCHEAPTONOTREFUNDTHEMONEYFORTHEFOODTHEYFORGOTTOPACKINYOUROTDER.

We came here with 2 of our very food savvy friends. They know I am in love with lamb biryani and suggested we try this place. Got here around 1pm on a Sunday and the place was semi-busy but as we left around 2:30pm, it was packed! We ordered the lamb biryani, garlic nann, chicken 65, apollo fish and kadai paneer. The order of food was odd, we got all the dishes without the nann and the biryani so we ate the chicken 65 and Apollo fish as appetizers. I really enjoyed the biryani as it was really light and flavorful. I have eaten some really greasy biryani that just sits in your stomach all day and I was glad this place made it so light. The garlic nann was flavorful and a good portion. I loved the flavor of kadai paneer, it is just the right amount of spiciness. I wasn’t too impressed with the chicken 65 or the Apollo fish, for some reason the sauce tasted the same to me and it didn’t help that our order came a little cold. I would come back for the biryani for sure and try a few other things. Service was great, our water was constantly filled and the place was very bright and clean!

More like a ‘Hell Biryani’, I must say. After such a disappointing and frustrating biryani experience, anything else from now onwards, would surely taste like Paradise. I want my money back. What a rip off. 3 tiny pieces of chicken in the whole dish and rest is just salted colored rice. No spices, no flavor and just an absolute blaahh… Shame on these people for calling this biryani and selling it too ! I also tried Veg biryani which was so spicy, so much spicy it felt like a ‘Paralyze Biryani’. This is the review for to-go and not dine in but due to such a low quality pathetic food, I am never coming back. Stay away from this place.

The dishes were distinctive flavors with good spices, not all the same like some fast food.

Realllly Not worth it. Way overpriced. Biryani was nothing special. For 14.99 including only tax it had very big bones, little meat and bland flavour. Don’t believe the reputation which is false. Don’t bother travelling to here you will be disappointed like I am.

Another Indian restaurant in the area and this one is a goodie. I ordered the cut mirchi(appetizer) which was good but be warned that it is spicy. The paneer tikka masala and chicken biryani were VERY good. The nan was a bit of a let down and was too chewy.

Pretty good stuff here. The Biriyanis are good. Paradise chicken curry is splendid. However, the tandoori items are not up to the mark. They have midnight Biriyani No alcohol, which is fine. On the down side, the service is very bad. Reading this review, the manager comes to me and in a not-so-nice voice asks me what’s wrong. I take to-go’s very frequently from here coz I like the Biriyani and this is what I get. I get a friend and I’m sitting in the restaurant for the first time. The tables were not set and we were given knives and forks after the entire order was on the table. However, I did not like the way the manager was demanding an explanation for my review.

So glad this place has opened near our home. Delicious biriyanis and the service is fast and super friendly. The ambiance is good too. Now coming to the food, we ordered Chicken 65, Apollo fish, Murg tangdi and hariyali chicken kebab(recommended to us and definitely worth it. Chicken 65 and Apollo fish were great and I would definitely recommend it. We also ordered Paneer 65 for our vegetarian friend in the group which was pretty good. Chicken dum biriyani and goat dum biriyani, Naan and Paradise special chicken curry for the entrees. No regrets. Loved every dish. The portions are also huge. And to top it all, the desserts(Double ka meetha and Shahi ka Tukada) were yum! The prices are affordable and a special mention to Vijay for the great service and some good recommendations he gave us. We will be back for more!

Guys. This Biryani point is very authentic. Food and ambience is at its best. Manager is very welcoming and makes you feel at home. Iv ordered food for my kids 1st bday and the guests absolutely loved it! All dishes were made to perfection and the food was all gone! It was a big hit. Thanks guys and appreciate your effort. Dom

Finally I met the hyderabadi taste after been missing for 2 years… I love this restaurant and food very much… especially hyderabadi chicken biryani… I have never seen a restaurant with fully crowded all times … I would like to express most strongly my appreciation of the service i received from your resturant staff.

I’m no biryani expert, but I happened to be married to one who grew up on this stuff, so I’m trying to learn the good, the bad, and ugly about this Hyderabadi dish. We recently spotted this joint pop up in Fremont and decided to grab some chicken biryani to-go one evening. If you like spicy spicy, this will rock your world. I like a bit of spice, but I had to eat this doused in yogurt. It was THAT spicy. Other than that, it was good biryani for me. The long grain rice was dry as it should be, and the chicken pieces were moist and flavorful. This place still leaves me wondering if it belongs to the original Hyderbad chain of restaurants…

To start with, I was excited that Paradise has opened in Fremont area. I thought of giving it a try even though my friends said its not up to the mark Today, I ordered Chicken and Goat dum biryani and all I got was same colored rice with Chicken and goat pieces. One of the worst biryani’s I had in recent times. I couldn’t even eat it completely. Also the mirchi ka salaan was like rasam and raitha was almost like white water. A big NO fir biryani

I have been to their other location at Santa Clara and really like their goat biryani. On my way to work yesterday morning I spotted them an was so happy to see that they opened up in Fremont. Picked up the goat biryani in the evening. Packed same style as the other location — with Chutney and Yogurt. It was nothing like the biryani I liked. There was spice from Chili but no other biryani like indian spices. It was bland and tasteless.

You go to Paradise biryani with certain expectations; given that it’s not only a super famous Biryani chain in Hyderabad, South India but also in the US. It’s in the complex where you have BevMo and the Indian grocery store. Great parking availability and inexpensive prices! They seemed to be new to Fremont. They were being super careful and always checking on you, which I really understood and liked. I really liked the décor; especially the pop of different colors on different walls. Now, the food — we were 2 of us and we ordered — Chilli Chicken(spicy, as expected), — chicken dum biryani(Paradise special and was mind blowing, as expected), — a Paradise special chicken curry(We were just experimenting and it turned out great. I’m a fan of this curry now. The flavor was so unique and authentic Telugu!), — some naan(Fresh and tasty; although it would have been nicer if it came with or after the curry), and — Rasmalai(yummmmmm and unusually there were 3 pieces in an order!) At the end, we literally boxed all of them coz we couldn’t finish any item(since they were pretty well sized). I believe it was the owner, he was very pleasant and nice, and kept an eye on every customer for their needs. Although, it was not a very big place, it was a pretty good size for a big group and looked clean and great. All in all, I have a favorite added to my list now! Yaay! And, inspite on the spiciness, I can’t wait to drag some of my non-spicy-eating-friends to try this authentic Andhra food. :)

Considering all the hype this place has for its biryani at its other location, we decided to give it a go. We came at what I assumed to be a late time, but they easily had enough space to cater to our group of 10 people. The service staff was quite attentive and kept refilling our waters. Now, on to the food. We ordered quite a bit of food, both veg and non-veg, and it was quite good! The sukha goat for the appetizer and the chicken tikka masala and bhuna ghosht were all tasty. The main reason we came here, the biryani, was also quite nice. But the brown curry they give you with biryani, I wasn’t a particular fan of it. I say, just let the biryani do the talking and avoid the that curry. All in all, not bad, and I’m glad a nice biryani joint has appeared in Fremont.

The ambience and service are very good. Waiters are friendly n polite. Now the food-we had chicken 65 which was delicious. For entrées we had paneer tikka masala, dal fry, butter naan, garlic naan. Everything tasted good. Butter naan was specially soft n not chewy at all… The only con– they should give Serving spoons… it was ok for us since my husband and I did not mind sharing the same spoon bt if I go out with strangers tats a problem.
