My very first time at a Red Lobster and I was pleasantly surprised. The potato soup was very good. I had a steak and the coconut shrimp. The steak was actually better than a comparable one at Outback, and the shrimp was great. Who knew?

I came here for lunch on a week day for my first time. There wasn’t that much people which was a plus for me. We got seated right away. Our server was nice and got our food to us quick. I love their biscuits! The shrimp scampi was also delicious, I wish they gave you more. Their wild rice was hard and the shrimp pasta wasn’t all that either. But for my first time their I enjoyed it.

Is it just me or was Red Lobster considered to be on the verge of «fine dining» when I was young. Well have times changed! Actually quite disappointing. It has been close to 5 years since I’ve been to a Red Lobster so my expectations were a little high. Walking into the Fremont location, everything was just as I remembered. Same bland décor, same lobsters tied up in the tank(probably not the exact same ones, but maybe their great-great grandchildren lol), and same bathroom like stench in the walkways. We were greeted by this warm and friendly greeter(Reason for 3, instead of 2). She really made me feel as if their dining experience had elevated. Wrong! Once we were seated, it took about 8 minutes for anyone to check in. A little weird being that they were not busy at all. Anyway, we ordered a blended drink which was tasty but lacking alcohol. My lover went with the lobster linguine. He described the lobster as tasting like it was from a can. I decided to go with the blackened salmon with shrimp, mash, and steamed broccoli. Salmon was over cooked, shrimp was under seasoned, mash was basic, broccoli was nice. Best thing of the meal were the biscuits of coarse. Both entrees came with a over dressed Caesar salad. Overall fail. I highly doubt we will be returning.

I went with my family or eight people the tab was $ 350.+ as soon as we finished our dinner and dessert we paid our tab and were out of the restaurant entering our cars when two employee ran out and said we did not pay and to return to the restaurant we I returned and showed my receipt for payment the apologized however I asked that I leave my phone number so the manager would call me the next day. I never received a call. Never Red Lobster gain.

I was completely surprised at how good it was. The last two times I went to my favorite sea food place, Market Broiler, I hated it so I gave Red Lobster another try despite several disappointments in the past it was really good this time. I got the tilapia wood grilled and it it was perfect. Corn on the cob as a side that was really good. Even the broccoli was good. My wife loved her food too. I really still can’t believe it. The service was even good too.

Food was ok. Not bad. 1 star because the service was terrible. Place was pretty much empty. First I asked for a refill on water and it never came. Then they didn’t bring out my mother’s food and seemed confused when we asked about it. Took another 15 mins to bring it out so we figured the kitchen messed up, however when the food came out it was cold. I asked for tarter sauce and catsup twice. Never came. Also, wife ordered the grilled garlic shrimp. Plain grilled shrimp was served.

I called in an order last week. It was ready when I got there. The portions were okay, but the food is just not that great. I’ve had much better seafood pasta from other places. We’ve come here in the past and it was better, but not now. The food is just bland.

It’s been 3 years since our last visit here and that one was miserable. Still, I love shrimp and Red Lobster is a much shorter drive than anywhere else that has shrimp, so we decided to give it another try. Numerous reasons why it will be a long, long time before we ever go back: 1. The recipe for the garlic biscuits seems to have changed; they don’t taste as good as they used to, as if there’s less cheese, less garlic, etc. That’s really bad because it’s the one thing that had made Red Lobster different from other seafood restaurants. 2. Shrimp Alfredo had virtually no sauce. Instead, there was a very thin layer of some sort of white cheese, barely melted, over the entire portion. Weird(and not tasty). It’s as if whoever made this had no idea what Alfredo sauce is or what its use in the name of a dish promises. Not only did this weird use of cheese cause this dish to not taste good, it completely changed the texture of it. After having had Shrimp Alfredo dozens of times as part of the Seafood Trio, I would never order it again. 3. The breading on the Walt’s Favorite Shrimp has changed. It’s slightly heavier and just slightly changes the taste. This had been my favorite dish at Red Lobster. I’ll have to go elsewhere now. 4. One good thing: unlike several previous visits, the service this time was much improved. Our server made sure to circle her name on the check(Marie C) and she and her prompt service deserve credit as the only thing that was an improvement over several disappointing previous visits. She’s the **only** reason this is a 2 star review(instead of one star).

Their service is unbelievably on point. Fast seating, courteous host, genuinely kind and sincere servers… Started eating at Red Lobster about a half year ago. Keep coming back because the food is surprisingly good but we never expected to be treated like Donald Trump at the Taj Mahal… and consistently so. The New York strip con Rock Lobster Tail does it every time, don’t forget the horse radish for that extra side kick!

It is a chain so as far chains go I felt it was classy, our server Joel we great and really friendly and on top of refills. Our meals came out great and didn’t have to wait too long! We went during lobster fest. Love their cheesy bread. But we can’t go too often because it would break the bank and our cholesterol will shoot through the roof.

Food is still ok, but talking about the service will make me so mad! No service at all, whole bunch of youngster as waitress and floor manager without servicing experience. Negative feedback! Ruin red lobster brand reputation!

My fiancé and I visited this location this past Saturday and had the BEST service we’ve ever had at this Red Lobster. We have been here multiple times before and while we’ve never had a terrible experience, it has never been exceptional either until last night. Patrick was our waiter last night and he is a gem! He greeted us in a timely fashion, he always checked to make sure we were ok,(and he did so when we weren’t in mid chew which was a plus for me), and he was personable. To go along with Patrick’s exemplary service, the cook(s) for the night were on point! I ordered the Lobster Lovers platter and my fiancé ordered the salmon and shrimp and we both were very satisfied. And of course the biscuits were great. Overall our experience was fantastic and to whom ever is in charge, give Patrick a raise lol.

After seeing most of the bad reviews, I almost decided to go somewhere else but I’m so glad I didn’t! I had not been to a Red Lobster in years but was craving seafood and their amazing biscuits. Food was awesome, tasted fresh. Service could have been better but the restaurant was extremely busy so I’m not going to complain! I will definitely be going back.

My husband and I dropped in for dinner Wednesday night after a meeting at Kaiser. It was around 7:15. We were seated immediately, although right next to the very loud bar. We then proceeded to wait. The person at the booth adjacent to us was visited several times, our drink order was not taken. After about 10 minutes our server Kelly finally appeared. By this time we were decided. My husband immediately requested cheesy biscuits, cuz of course, Red Lobster. I tried to order a plain lemonade, and it took 3 minutes for the server to understand that I really. Just wanted plain lemonade, and a glass of water please. So we ordered the rest of our meal. Seafood artichoke dip for appetizer, the fisherman’s meal for my husband with ceaser salad, and a create your own combo. With stuffed sole and shrimp scampi with house salad and vinagrette for me. Not a complicated order. Then the disappointment got going. Our drinks were delivered, I got my husbands drink and he got my plain lemonade, easy fix, I switched them. And i did not get a water, i reminded her and was answered with a head nod. No biscuits were ready, as I watched basket after basket leaving the kitchen… fine. she then returned with our salads, mine was dry, no dressing. I had to wave her down to point this out. Then the appetizer came out. She was unable to unload the food from her tray without assistance. But we had our appetizer and biscuits, and I could eat my salad because we finally got the dressing. Then our entres came out. My husbands looked like the fried feast that he ordered. My meal, however, was fried fish and scampi. When I pointed out that it looked wrong she dismissed me. So I looked again. Was it now two pieces of fried fish with seafood stuffing? Maybe the stuffing was inside the breading? No. It was fried fish. So I called her back over she looked at me like I was being a hassle, then went to the kitchen. And came back confused. Bringing out broiled stuffed fish with an explanation that she had never seen the dish before. We finished our food, yes got a free dessert, but not the $ 60 dinner service we paid for. And I never got my water… never going back.

Well came here went to order the 4 course like always and am told that its only monday to thursday. Not according to my menu it has no limits on it and am told by my server it must be a old menu. Really that is false advertising. So what do i get nothing. My husband orders brussels sprouts and was told they are out then he orders asparagus and the server calls a different server over and asks do we have any asparagus and she say no we only have broccoli. really are you serious. So then he picks something else and is told that will be extra for those sides. Well if you are out of the ones we ask for the healty choices but you will make us pay more for what you do have. there is something wrong here.

Ended up here last minute because we had a gift card from Christmas that I figured we could get rid of. Before coming here I Unilocaled and seen the low rating but decided to make an opinion of my own and give it a chance. I ordered and shared with my husband the combo dinner, so we could try multiple items. Sirloin, salmon and breaded shrimp. The steak and shrimp was fine, the salmon was not seasoned enough in my opinion not cooked long enough. As my side I wanted to try the roasted Brussels sprouts, but was told they were all out. So I asked for the asparagus, also told they were out. Ok… I’ll take broccoli… Which ended up being blahhh. My meal came with a salad, but they were also out of onions.(My fave topping on the salad) By hubby also ordered the fish and chips which he said was fresh and good. The biscuits they served were the best part. 2 stars because the server was nice but I don’t really have anything int great to say about my dining experience here as a whole. I wouldn’t recommend nor will I probably ever return.

It was my first time at Red Lobster and I was impressed! Came here for dinner on a Friday night and was seated pretty quickly. While the décor was pretty on point, I would say they need more lights because it was a little too dark for my liking. Almost had to whip out my flashlight to look at the menu. Speaking of the menu, there’s plenty of options for sea and land entrees. Their drink menu also has a lot to try. I opted for the 4 course meal for $ 17, which was definitely a deal and good enough to make me full. You get your salad, a soup, an entrée, and a dessert. Not bad! I also opted to get the garlic shrimp skewer as an add on for ~$ 6. All the appetizers were great. We had the calamari, the caesar salad, the clam chowder, and the biscuits. So much food which is probably why I got full pretty early once the entrée came. I ordered the chicken alfredo and the portion was huge. I barely ate any of it because I was so full. It was pretty good… very saucy and heavy so probably not the best thing to order if you’re trying to diet. As for the drinks, I ordered the Berry Mango Daiquiri(if I remember the name correctly) and it was really good! Though, you can barely taste the alcohol in it so I’m not sure how much was in there. Lastly, I ordered the brownie with the ice cream and it was good too! After we added everything up, the bill was sort of costly. I’d probably not eat here all the time, but I wouldn’t mind coming back!

Came here with my mom and our friend and the service was good, the food was what we expected, and the restaurant was clean. My shrimp was good and the price was right for what we got. My mom’s coconut shrimp was good. Everyone was happy and content. Such a difference experience from yesterday. I’ll come back here.

I had just Charged my Ankle Bracelet and my Favorite Uncle called me and asked me what I was doing. I told him I was Chilling out. I asked him if he had Dinner plans? He Didn’t, so I asked if he wanted to go out for Dinner. He knew what that meant. I was Treating Him LOL. I respect my Elders . So my Uncle rolled to my house in his Hemi Dodge and we rolled out to Fremont and Red Lobster . Red Lobster has a Huge parking lot. So we stashed his Whip and Rolled in. We were Greeted and Seated by the Hostess. She presented us with Menus, which we perused . Our Server stopped by and took our order. We ordered 2 Ultimate Feasts — Which consists of Fried Prawns, Shrimp Scampi, Lobster Tail. Snow Crab Legs, Garlic Mash Potatoes and Corn On The Cobb. It also Comes with Buttermilk Biscuits and a Caesar’s Salad . 10 Minutes later our Server brought our Caesars Salads, Buttermilk Biscuits and our drinks by. The Salads were well constructed and the ingredient’s were fresh, the Buttermilk Biscuits were Light and Airy. 15 Minutes later our Entrees arrived. The Seafood was really Tasty especially the Lobster Tail, Fried Prawns, Shrimp Scampi and the Snow Crab Legs. It was a good size Platter. It filled me up. My Uncle actually finished his Dinner first. He’s got a great appetite for a 74 Year old lol. I love that Old Buzzard LOL. I grabbed the Bill and Charged it and Rolled Out . I would definitely eat there again. They have a Bar, but no Happy Hour.

I have to say I have been going here for a long time now. It can be a hit or miss on the service or the taste of the food depending on the day and time you come but last Friday was great! It was my daughter’s 17th birthday, and the service and food was good! They served us the cheddar biscuits right away and made sure to provide us with a lot of it! They’re my favorite! I go here mainly for this. Sometimes, the food here can be really salty but then this place uses so much butter in a lot of their dishes but I ain’t complaining! ;p I had the choose three dishes meal. I choice the sirloin, garlic shrimp scampi and grilled scallops. Everything was good but the sirloin seems a little dry but was cooked with the right amount of pink for my medium cooked meat. The salmon dishes my kids had was pretty good. The fish was moist but needed a little salt. The crab alfredo that my kids had was good as well. At least, they are generous with the sauce. The clam chowder was pretty good and did not have a ton of potatoes in it like other restaurants. The one thing about this restaurant that drives me nuts is the smell when you come in the restaurant. The place is pretty clean. It just smells like sewer or could it be the fish tanks? It really reeks and they need to take care of that issue. You do not smell it as much in the back of the restaurant but you can smell it in the waiting room, bar area and first section of the restaurant. Our waiter Joel gave us excellent service that day. He was very attentive as well. This is what saved it from being two stars. We wanted warm cheddar biscuits to take home and he granted that especially since it was my daughter’s bday. She loves these! They sang the birthday song and gave my daughter vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce. We didn’t order anymore dessert as we were full. I hope all service there is as good as Joel gave us. It was not always like that…

2.5* It was my first time eating at a red lobster(although my parents told me I’ve been there a long long time go)…probably as a child. I like the interior. looks like a seafood house. lots of wood and felt clean. Our server was awesome and very quick. He got us everything we needed and food came out in a timely manner. The cheddar bay biscuits, which I’ve heard rave reviews about from my husband, were decent to good. They were hot w a fluffy interior. Buttery flavor almost like artificial butter and I looked inside and appeared to have a few yellow streaks. Overall tasty but didn’t love it. 3/5* The salad was fresh and came w tomatoes, onion, and croutons. 3/5* The endless shrimp. I freakin Fell for the commercial. They kept showing it over n over. And It looked and sounded so good. After eating I don’t think I’ll return for it. Broccoli as my side which was little overcooked as in not crisp and tasted like it was boiled. 1/5* I tried the coconut shrimp w sweet chili like sauce. First off the shrimp were tiny. I don’t expect 21 count shrimp per lb, but these were like the size of a quarter. Flavor wise, they were good but due to heavier coconut batter on the small shrimp, the batter was overwhelming… a lot of coconut. The sauce had a nice kick of spice but a little too pungent in sweetness. 2.5/5* The breaded shrimp were decent. They seemed to be little larger in size compared to coconut shrimp. Simply done. a little salty. Served w cocktail sauce. 3/5* The shrimp scampi was one of my favorites minus the last batch my husband got and I tried. I spit out my piece bc once I began to chew the shrimp, it literally broke into pieces! Gross. fell apart into pieces similar to imitation crab. I joked and said to my husband,“did this batch come fr China where they used imitation crab to create fake shrimp?” I kid. and my husband had few in that batch and they were bad. The other scampi were fine though. The sauce was a bit salty but tasty. One of my fave flavors. 3.5/5* The grilled teriyaki shrimp were the largest shrimp. Maybe it’s bc they have to have large enough shrimp to skewer in a stick. Perfectly cooked and tender. Wish they had more of grill marks but that’ll prob make them overcooked. The teriyaki sauce tasted generic but good enough. 4/5* Great staff… all were friendly. Just don’t know if I’d really love to return. I’d rather pay more elsewhere to have large shrimp and great flavor. But for only $ 17…Not bad at all.

The atmosphere was very ho hum dry. It is a Shame because it is such a beautiful day. I felt as though I was in Sizzler instead of Red Lobster because the décor was similar. The waitress was handling a lot on her own, which is probably why we had to ask for things that should have already been on our table or offered to us. The food was good. I ate tilapia Tacos. I expected a wow to come over me(this being the second fish tacos I’ve tasted), but no such luck. I tasted the coconut shrimp. My mom and brother said it was spicy, but I couldn’t tell because I took so small a taste(not a shrimp or lobster person). They enjoyed their food. I wish I could give more details. The service would have taken the visit up a notch, and that didn’t pick up until it was time for us to go. All the friendly staff who smiled and shared hellos as they passed us were just coming on the clock. The entire meal consisted of Lobster tail, Rock Lobster, Shrimp, Cesar salad, Buttered shrimp, baked potatoes, biscuits with cheese.

Pros: First off, the service was great and quick. The berry mango daquiri is delicious. For the first time trying lobster, I believe it was good. The clam chowder soup is better than the bacon one. Biscuits were scrumptious! Cons: The coconut shrimp tasted like coconut but was slightly dry and its sauce is a bit too sweet. The cajun chicken linguine was too greasy.

The day before Mother’s Day was naturally busy, but I’m surprised it only took 12 minutes for the four of us to get seated instead of the quoted 45 at 6pm. Their pager actually beeps and talks when it’s out of range! Makes sense since some tend to leave them in their purses and forget. Aside from buzzing, a voice indicates it’s time to report back to the front and be led to a table. How’s that for technology? Future pagers should have touch screen menus on them … While seating was quick, the food took longer than usual. Courteous Ashley took care of us and brought our Caesar salads out within 15 minutes. That’s some tasty Caesar dressing, good amount of creaminess that balances out any sour notes. With so many people dining in, the cheddar bay biscuits were still baking in the oven. When they finally arrived at our table, they were fresh and hot but never acquired that firm biscuit texture that I’m used to. For my entrée I ordered the advertised seafood trio for $ 15.99 with my three choices: baked lobster Alfredo, brown butter shrimp scampi, and soy ginger salmon with pineapple salsa. I liked the pasta the best– there was an ample amount of lobster! The salmon was good and I didn’t care much for the shrimp. Sis chose the same pasta, fried shrimp, and garlic grilled shrimp skewer over a bed of rice pilaf. The skewer wasn’t all that, I could taste a hint of garlic and that was about it. Mom had the Ultimate Feast which she thoroughly enjoyed. It had a Maine lobster tail, steamed snow crab legs, garlic shrimp scampi, and some fried shrimp. Dad had the 12 oz NY strip and rock lobster tail, which he commended for its size. It better be large for the price I paid! Well done steak was cooked to perfection and the meat was tender. For dessert we had the warm chocolate chip lava cookie. It took a while to find the lava portion because it was off to the side. They didn’t skimp on the ice cream portion. It’s no pizookie but it ended the meal on a good note. I’m just amazed at how fast we were seated!

I really haven’t been to Red Lobster too much in the last few years. There’s so many seafood places to choose from in the Tri City area now that I often pass by it w/o a second thought. We arrived around 530 pm and the wait was 40 min. We were already starving but not much we could do about that. They gave us a beeper and we waited it out. There were literally hoards of people! I didn’t know Red Lobster was so famous LOL! The food seemed better than I remembered it. Fresh and everything cooked to standards. The waitress was on point and held her own though it was super busy. They did run out of butterfly shrimp for my admiral’s feast so I opted for another shrimp they had, also replacing the clam strips with the other shrimp. I probably won’t be be back anytime soon(due to the vast choices of seafood places in the Bay Area) but it was a good meal and great service.
